The guy leaned against the wall, hands in his hoodie pockets. "Don't go out yet," he suggested. "How about heading home in the morning? You never know if they're still outside."
She hesitated, thinking it over. He had a point. The danger might not be over yet.
"Wanna look around the college?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his tone.
She glanced around. Even in the dim light, she could tell—the college was old. Probably a few decades, at least. And a place this old… must have its own stories, secrets, hidden corners.
It was a better choice. Spending the night here seemed safer than stepping out into the unknown.
She turned to him. "Do you know this college well?"
He smirked. "Know this college? I know every corner of it. I've spent so much time roaming these corridors, classrooms, the campus…"
She paused, watching him. Maybe he was a student here? Students did tend to wander their campuses aimlessly, discovering every hidden spot.
