Chapter One: The Fall of the Shadow King
A cold night crept through the city's alleys, carrying the scent of betrayal and blood.
Renzo Dalka stood in his family's secret meeting room, his eyes sharp as knives, filled with anger and caution.
He knew everyone was plotting to overthrow him, and betrayals had revealed themselves like snakes in the shadows.
But Renzo had anticipated this betrayal for some time.
He whispered coldly to himself,
"It was my uncle behind all this. He pulled all the strings."
He slowly raised his hand toward the table, where a set of small control buttons lay before him.
He had planted them in the meeting room hours earlier — small, advanced bombs, ready to explode at the perfect moment.
The family's followers, the traitors he once trusted, were gathered, talking and conspiring against his fate.
But they didn't know he was waiting for the perfect moment.
He pressed the first button, hearing the faint sound of an explosion quickly rising.
That was just the beginning.
Explosions followed one after another, flames lighting up the room, blood staining the walls and floor.
Screams of pain mixed with clashes.
Enemies ran, trying to survive, but death was near.
Renzo didn't move from his place; he watched proudly and mercilessly.
As smoke and dust rose, he advanced toward his uncle, who stood stunned, speechless, blood seeping from a wound in his belly.
Renzo approached him and slowly drew his sharp knife.
His gaze was cold, merciless.
He plunged the knife deep into his uncle's chest with a strong blow, his eyes blazing with vengeful madness.
He whispered hoarsely, carrying the hatred of years in his words:
"You… you were the traitor."
His uncle fell to the ground, looking at him with eyes full of devastation, his breath fading.
But just before Renzo could claim his final victory, he felt a sudden stab in his back.
He froze for a moment, blood flowing from the new wound.
He fell to his knees and slowly turned.
There stood a man behind him, his face hidden in shadows, eyes fixed on Renzo with cold, mysterious calm.
The man whispered,
"It was you…"
Renzo stared at him sharply, as if wanting to shout, "Why you?" but no words came out.
Instead, he slowly raised his hand and smiled a twisted smile, almost like a fabricated madness.
He spoke with a tone full of defiance,
"I will not die alone."
Renzo took out a small bomb from his jacket — one he had implanted in his body before entering the palace, prepared for everything.
He pressed the detonation button, and his body exploded with a deafening sound, lighting up the entire room.
The explosion was deep and destructive, spreading everywhere and destroying everyone present.
In the smoke and dust, Renzo saw the mysterious man's face fading away, but he said nothing.
Renzo smiled madly before darkness overwhelmed him:
"No one will survive."
