Chicago PD
Crossover Event: "Vanished With a Trace"
Episode 1: Deep Cover
ACT 1: The Disappearance
INT. INTELLIGENCE UNIT – BRIEFING ROOM – MORNING
Voight stands at the head of the table. The team—Halstead, Upton, Atwater, Burgess, and Ruzek—review a case file: a missing foster teen with a history of bounced identities.
VOIGHT:
We've got a kid who doesn't exist on paper. Foster records erased, school files wiped. No prints, no DNA in the system.
UPTON:
We've seen traffickers do this before, but never this clean.
ATWATER:
All her social media's been hijacked—like she was never born.
HALSTEAD:
This feels bigger than local. Maybe even federal.
ACT 2: The First Lead
INT. INTELLIGENCE UNIT – TECH DESK – DAY
Burgess and Ruzek trace a digital trail—a series of encrypted messages routed through Chicago, New York, and DC.
BURRESS:
I'm getting hits from an encrypted server in New York. The same IP pops up in DC and LA.
RUZEK:
Whoever's running this is bouncing signals through half the country.
Voight picks up his phone.
ACT 3: The Outreach
PHONE CALL 1: SCORPION
INTERCUT – INT. SCORPION HQ – NIGHT
VOIGHT:
This is Sergeant Hank Voight, Chicago PD Intelligence. I'm tracking a missing teen whose identity's been wiped with military-grade tech. Walter O'Brien, right?
WALTER:
You've got the right guy. We're seeing similar cases—identity erasure, digital ghosts. I'll send you our technical findings. If you get a physical location, let us know.
VOIGHT:
Copy that. If you see anything in Chicago, call me first.
PHONE CALL 2: THE EQUALIZER
INTERCUT – INT. MCCALL'S APARTMENT – NIGHT
VOIGHT:
McCall, it's Voight. You ever see traffickers use EMPs or RFID chips to control victims?
MCCALL:
Yes. Black sites, deep state ops. If you're seeing that in Chicago, you're dealing with pros. I'll send you my files. Stay sharp, Voight.
PHONE CALL 3: BONES (JEFFERSONIAN)
INTERCUT – INT. JEFFERSONIAN – ANGELA'S OFFICE – DAY
VOIGHT:
Dr. Brennan, this is Voight with Chicago PD. We have a missing teen with no biological records and evidence of identity manipulation. You ever seen anything like that?
BRENNAN:
Yes, recently. We're working a case involving erased identities and digital footprints. If you send me your victim's details, I'll compare them to our database.
VOIGHT:
Will do. Let's keep each other updated.
ACT 4: The Pattern Emerges
INT. INTELLIGENCE UNIT – BRIEFING ROOM – NIGHT
The team reviews new intel as digital files from Scorpion, The Equalizer, and the Jeffersonian roll in.
HALSTEAD:
Scorpion's seeing the same RFID chip signatures in LA and Europe.
ATWATER:
McCall's files mention similar trafficking routes—Chicago's a hub.
UPTON:
Jeffersonian's got a possible DNA match to our missing teen. She's not the only one.
VOIGHT:
This isn't just a Chicago problem. It's national—maybe global.
ACT 5: The Meeting Point
INT. INTELLIGENCE UNIT – BRIEFING ROOM – LATE NIGHT
Voight stands, phone in hand.
VOIGHT:
Everyone's seeing the same thing. We're not fighting this alone.
Get ready—we're meeting the others. This is about to get bigger than any of us.
The team exchanges determined looks as the screen fades to black.
