The face-down card on Tania's field flipped up, glowing with a bright light. Within the summoning circle, the figure of Amazoness Swordswoman appeared once more.
"This card allows me to select one Amazoness monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it in Attack Position. However, that monster must remain in Attack Position, and if it is capable of attacking, it must do so."
Tania's lips curled upward. "What a shame, Bastion. Your plan to trade your Life Points for my monster has ended in failure."

Bastion Misawa gritted his teeth tightly. He glanced at the cards in his hand and had no choice but to set one on the field. "I set one card and end my turn!"
Although the current situation looked bleak, Bastion still held what he believed to be his comeback card: Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior!
This card was the absolute ace of his current deck. Its massive attack power and troublesome effects could easily crush any opponent. However, summoning it required complex conditions. He had to banish Alpha The Electromagnet Warrior, Beta The Electromagnet Warrior, and Gamma The Electromagnet Warrior from his field, hand, or Graveyard simultaneously to Special Summon it.
Currently, Bastion only had Alpha on the field. As long as he could find a way to gather the sleeping Beta and Gamma into his hand, field, or Graveyard, the win was his.
A subtle smirk played across Bastion's lips. He was acting! That frustrated look from a moment ago was nothing more than a performance. Because of Berserkion's complex summoning requirements, he had to make his opponent lower their guard. As long as he could stall until he had all three pieces, his chances of winning would exceed one hundred percent!
"My, my A brooding man really does look quite handsome" Tania cooed, looking at Bastion with a lovestruck gaze and speaking in a wheedling tone.
"You..." Bastion's brow twitched. His originally stable composure began to waver. "What exactly are you playing at...?"
Before he could finish his question, Tania's expression shifted in an instant, reverting to a stern, serious look.
"My turn! I draw!"
Looking at the card she pulled, Tania's lips curled. "I activate the Field Spell Card! Amazoness Village!"
"Feast your eyes on Amazoness hospitality!"
As the Field Spell was slotted into the Field Zone of her Duel Disk, the surrounding arena underwent a cataclysmic transformation. An ancient, primordial rainforest rose from the ground, completely changing the environment.
"According to the effect of Amazoness Village, all Amazoness monsters on the field gain 200 ATK."
A red aura erupted around Amazoness Swordswoman. She let out a low cry as her power surged.

Everyone's expressions became incredibly strange.
"Hey, is this girl here to play cards or to find a husband?" Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring's face turned slightly pale as she couldn't help but complain. "And it's terrifying... seeing a muscle-bound woman acting cute like that..."
Jaden Yuki remained silent. He knew Tania's strength. Although Bastion's Magnet Warriors were much stronger than they were in the original history, he feared Bastion was still no match for her. Furthermore, the Magnet Warriors were simply too slow. Whether it was resource accumulation or deck cycling, a slow deck like that could never outpace the Amazoness.
"I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card, Amazoness Call."
Tania became serious again, flipping the card in her hand. "This card allows me to add one Amazoness card from my deck to my hand. I choose to add Amazoness Princess!"

Everyone's jaws nearly hit the floor at Tania's play.
"A monster with 1400 ATK is attacking a monster with 1700 ATK?"
"You... what on earth are you trying to do!" Bastion was genuinely shocked. He truly didn't understand what Tania was thinking anymore. First, she claimed she wanted him to be her husband, and now she was using a weaker monster to crash into his stronger one. Was she insane?
"Don't be so anxious, dear Bastion." Tania smiled faintly. "When Amazoness Princess declares an attack, I can send one other card from my hand or field to the Graveyard to Special Summon one Amazoness monster from my deck in Defense Position, except another copy of herself. Come forth! Amazoness Queen!"
Tania waved her hand and shouted. Boom! A pillar of light erupted on the field. A domineering woman with blue hair, carrying a massive blade and wearing an eyepatch over her right eye, emerged from the light, staring coldly at Bastion.

"Even if they aren't destroyed by battle, you still have to take the battle damage!" Chazz shouted.
"This... this duel is getting way too reckless. Whether it's Bastion or this woman..."
The crowd broke out in a cold sweat. This unconventional style of dueling kept everyone on edge.
"Oh no," Jaden Yuki's face darkened. "Because Amazoness monsters can't be destroyed by battle... it means..."
"Even though Amazoness Swordswoman and Alpha The Electromagnet Warrior have the same attack power... only Bastion's monster will be destroyed!"
