As Adam continued to follow the directions to the cross-dome transfer point, his chat discussed the topic of relationships with artificial lifeforms.

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): When she says, 'a special kind of person,' what she means is weird.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): Sounds like a Vulcan.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): They are a race from a famous Sci-Fi TV show that is well known for suppressing their emotions.]

Following the directions provided by Spector, Adam soon left the dock and as he did, Spector instructed.
[Take one of the hover cabs to the cross-dome transfer point.]
As Adam looked to his left, he saw several small square vehicles waiting by the roadside that were highlighted on his HUD.
As Adam approached one of the cabs, he found that the door was already open and so climbed inside and sat down.
"Welcome, passenger, please state your destination," an automated voice suddenly said.
"Cross-dome transfer point," Adam replied.
"Please present your uniband to the payment point," the automated voice stated as a small panel on the armrest lit up.
Adam did as instructed and held his uniband over the payment point.
There was a confirmation sound before the automated voice said, "payment confirmed. Now departing for the cross-dome transfer point, please keep your hands, feet and any other extremities inside the vehicle at all times."
As the automated voice finished speaking, the door closed before the cab lifted into the air and set off.
[SciFifanboy (Earth): AI hover cabs! That's so Sci-Fi.]
After a short ride on the hover cab, Adam arrived at the cross-dome transfer point and after disembarking from the cab, he walked inside.
The place made him think of a futuristic railway station, as a short distance away, he could make out four lanes which disappeared into a tunnel.
Every so often, a rectangular hover transport appeared from the tunnel, travelling along one of the lanes before stopping next to a platform.
A few minutes later, the transport would depart and vanish into the tunnel.
[SciFifanboy (Earth): Dude! I'm so loving this. It's all so Sci-Fi.]
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): You're not wrong.]
As he looked around, Adam noticed that people were scanning their unibands before a gate opened and allowed them to pass through a scanner.
Adam approached one of the gates and scanned his uniband.
After receiving a confirmation tone, the gate opened and Adam passed through.
However, almost as soon as he stepped into the scanner, a loud alarm blared and red lights started to flash.
This was followed by hurried footsteps as multiple armed individuals arrived on both sides of the gate and pointed their weapons at Adam.
"FREEZE!" One of the armed individuals who seemed to be the leader yelled while people stopped what they were doing to watch.
[Justiceistruth (Earth): Uh oh, busted.]
[HackerSu (Trillion): What do you think happened?]
[OfficialMuriel (Aqua Primus): My guess is that his weapons were detected.]
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): I thought that wasn't possible? We've seen his weapons get through checks before.]
[OfficialMuriel (Aqua Primus): Maybe it was something else then.]
{Spector, did the scanner pick up my weapons?}
[[Negative,]] Spector replied simply.
"Drop the weapon and get down on the ground," the security leader ordered
"What weapon?" Adam asked in confusion.
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Err, maybe your universal force lance and that blaster you're carrying?]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): He's playing dumb, dumbass.]
"Don't fuck with me, kid," the security leader cursed before adding, "drop the box; we already know what's inside, as the scanner warned us."
"Box?" Adam asked in confusion before remembering what he was holding.
He held it up and asked, "you mean this?"
As Adam held the box up, every security guard retreated slightly.
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Look how scared they are of that little box. Kekeke.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Ok, now I'm curious as to what might be inside it.]
"Don't fuck with us, kid. Slowly place the box on the ground before lying face down on the ground with your hands interlocked behind your head," the guard leader ordered angrily.
"But dock manager Hunas instructed me to deliver this to the boss," Adam replied.
"Bullshit," the leader cursed.
[OracleRomy (Elysium): This guy likes to curse, doesn't he.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): He must be under a lot of pressure.]
"Why would Hunas instruct you to deliver something so dangerous in a mere box?" The leader asked doubtfully.
"Dangerous?" Adam repeated before proceeding to open the small box while asking, "What's in this thing?"
"DON'T OPEN IT, YOU FOOL!" The leader screamed in panic before asking, "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US ALL?"
Adam ignored the guard leader who was shouting hysterically and continued to open the box.
Inside, he found a small vial that was see-through at either end and seemed to have two different types of coloured gas swirling within it.
One side was a green gas, while the other side had red gas. In the centre of the vial was what looked like a small button.
As soon as he laid eyes on it, Spector made an emergency announcement.
[[ALERT, ALERT.]]
[[EXTREMELY DANGEROUS OBJECT DETECTED.]]
[[HANDLE WITH EXTREME CARE.]]
[[IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU REACTIVATE YOUR COMBAT ARMOUR HELMET.]]
[[EMERGENCY AUTOMATED COMBAT ARMOUR ACTIVATION TO STANDBY MODE.]]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): OH PROGENITOR! Is that what I think it is?]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): It can't be.]
[OfficialRowena (Spector): Why the fuck do they have something like that? Are they asking for death?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): If that vial breaks, they're all dead.]
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): What is it?]
"What is this?" Adam asked in surprise as he inspected the vial warily.
[[Yliaster DX Six]]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Yliaster DX Six.]
"How the fuck don't you recognise, Yliaster DX Six?" The guard leader asked in surprise.
"He's gotta be faking it, sir," another guard suggested.
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): What's this Yliaster DX Six?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): It's a type of gaseous neurotoxin. In its current state, it's perfectly harmless; however, by pressing the switch in the middle, you break a glass divide that separates the two gases.
This allows the two gases to both mix and escape the vial. Once released, there is enough Yliaster DX Six in that vial to kill everyone in the cross-dome transfer point six times over.]
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Oh shit.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): My kind of shit. So it's a bio weapon, a nerve agent?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Nerve agent?]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): It's another more commonly used name for neurotoxin gases here on Earth.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Ah, then yes, you're right.]
[OrangeeyedStace (Spector): Why the fuck do they have Adam transporting a neurotoxin?]
The people who had been standing around and watching started to scream and run after learning the identity of the vial, while Adam cursed and asked.
"This thing's a fucking nerve agent? Why didn't that fucking dock manager warn me I was transporting something so dangerous?"
"I don't know what a nerve agent is, kid, but listen to me and put that thing down carefully," the guard leader instructed.
"You don't have to tell me twice," Adam replied as he closed the lid on the box again before carefully placing it on the floor.
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Wow, I think this is the first time we've seen the streamer be so cooperative with local authorities since Palaxia.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Even the streamer's not crazy enough to mess with a nerve agent.]
"Good," the guard leader said with a sigh before ordering, "Now lie on the floor with your hands behind your head."
"That ain't gonna happen," Adam replied.
"What?" the guard leader asked as all the guards gripped their weapons a little tighter.
"I'm not letting you take me in when all I was doing was what Hunas told me to do," Adam replied before adding, "If you don't like that, then call and ask him."
"You ain't in a position to make demands, brat," the guard who had doubted Adam earlier stated in annoyance.
"Oh really?" Adam asked as he raised his foot and held it over the case while saying, "I think I'm in a rather advantageous position.
All the guards gulped slightly before the doubter said nervously, "Stop bluffing, brat. You know as well as I do that you're dead if you step on that."
"That's your opinion, not mine," Adam replied before looking at the guard leader and saying, "We can do this in one of two ways. Either you call Hunas and confirm my story, or I stamp down and we see if you can shoot me before I kill us all."
