One by one, the contestants grabbed parachutes and boarded the aircraft for the deadliest game of tag of their lives.
The plane took off. Flying above a giant forest filled with nature and wildlife, granting the players their last peaceful and quiet moment before the start of the actual game, almost like a lull before the storm. Each team of the four teams were gazing into the continentally big woodland, expecting the soon to come drop off.
"The view is amazing!" Alya said as she had her face pressed on the window.
"Don't forget that we are going to be hunted by The Black Market" Cinister said as he stayed nonchalantly in his seat
"Come on don't be so negative" Choi chimed in as he reassured The Fangra
"Yeah you don't have to have a stick up your butt all the time" Allen replied as he was standing up
"Just wait until I put you in a cage" Cinister shot back
"Alright Alright calm down you children" One of the flight attendants took their attention
"Who are you?" Scrappy asked as he was standing behind Choi
"I'm Alaine and I will tell you how you guys will begin the tag game" she explained as she took a box of blindfold and parachutes "Each one of you guys will take one blindfold and one parachute. You will put them on and only then can you jump out of the plane"
"Do we still need to keep our blindfolds on after the jump" Ragna asked
"Nope you can take them off immediately." she responded "The only thing you can't do is jump with your team"
"HUH!" Most of the people in the plane exclaimed
"You mean we have to be by ourselves?" Scrappy said as he was with a shocked face
"That is correct" The lady said "Now I will be taking my leave"
"So how will we jump?" Ragna asked Cinister and Alya
"I don't think there is a good strategy for the jump but we can meet up by any means necessary" Cinister replied
"What kind of means?" Alya asked with a confused look
"I'm sure we can figure it out" Cinister said as he grabbed a blindfold and a parachute "I will be going first just don't get caught"
Then Cinister jumped out of the plane. The four teams split up across the big forest and when the last person lands a big blimp with a screen appears. The screen turns on and it shows the four teams
[Team 1 - Cinister, Ragna, Alya]
[Team 2 - Allen, Scrappy, Choi]
[Team 3 - Xander, Hyoga, Loyd]
[Team 4 - Emily, Valica, Allie]
We cut to Ragna who has fallen on the ground safely and is sneakily moving around the bushes trying not to be loud in the process.
"Man, this would be 10 times easier if I had a teammate with me," Ragna mumbled to himself.
"I could be your teammate?" A mysterious man asked him
Ragna turned around to see Xander standing still, looking down on him.
"Don't you hate us?" Ragna asked, still kinda freaked out by his presence.
"Nope I only hate Cinister since he thinks he is all that" Xander stated with a vein popping on his forehead
"Can I ask why you hate him? I mean he is really strong and has saved me multiple times" Ragna replied
"Well let me tell you this. If Cinister went to our school he wouldn't even be top 10" Xander shared his opinion
"Not even in the top 10!?" Ragna exclaimed with shock in his voice
"Yeah the top 3 people have [Mixed Nexus] and the other seven have way stronger and advanced abilities than him" Xander said
"Damn so maybe going to this Academy might actually be really useful for me" Ragna thought to himself
Then while they were talking one of the zombies jumped out of a bush, lunging at them but Xander pushed Ragna out of the way and shot the zombie killing him.
"What the!?" Xander looked at his steaming gun with a confused face
"Weren't the guns supposed to be filled with paintballs?" Ragna said as he unloaded his firearm to see 7 bullets in the magazine.
"Didn't they give us paintball guns?" Ragna asked
"No these Events are very important to the Tower so I don't think they would give us real firearms." Xander said as he thought hard "That mean that someone tampered with the guns
Then we cut to Emily.
While falling from the plane Emily was thinking of how she should rendezvous with her team. She landed in the southeast part of the forest with fairly normal looking surroundings. At least that was the case until she felt a barrel of a gun being pushed against her head.
"If you don't want to die then I suggest you don't move" Allen appeared out of nowhere holding his gun to her head
"Are you dumb? These guns are loaded with paintballs" Emily explained "There is no reason to be scared"
"Do you really want to test that theory?" Allen replied with a confident smirk
"You know what I bet on my life that they're harmless" Emily shouted as she started running
Allen quickly fired a shot but it wasn't a paintball but a bullet which went through her skull killing her instantly
"I guess you should have bet something else, huh?" Allen said as he stored her body in his [Blessing of Inventory]
"Since the Tower only banned the use of Nexus, so my Blessing still works" Allen explained to himself
"And then I had an evil idea. I decided to touch everyone's gun at the beginning of the match and used my [Blessing of Upgrade] to make them into real firearms" Allen though to himself "This is the best way I can collect bodies while having some fun"
Then a lot of footsteps were heard coming from the right. Allen pointed his gun that way but after he looked closely he saw 100 Black Marketers standing in front of him.
"We are here to put you in that cage" one of them said in a groggy voice
"Or we make a truce and I give you some guns to kill the other players" Allen quickly offered his weapons to the Black Marketers
"So we get to have real guns if we don't kill you or put you in the cage?" the "zombies" asked him
"Yup!" Allen said as he used his [Blessing of the Copy] to mass produce the guns at a rapid rate
At that moment the "zombies" went and started grabbing the firearms and checking them out.
Then one of the cloaked people said as he pointed his gun at Allen "Thank you for this present you have given us but you are no longer useful to us"
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Allen asked as if he already knew what was about to happen
The zombie, still hadn't realized the situation, tried to fire at Allen but the second he did the gun exploded in his hand killing him instantly.
"Yeah I forgot to mention that if you guys try to shoot me" Allen replied in a cold tone "you will die"
All of the Black Market people felt a shiver down their spine as they retreated in the forest.
"I better go watch over those two before something too dangerous happens" Allen said as he disappeared in the forest.
