A HISS resounded behind Bakugo as he hopped from building to building, a frown twisting his face.
Explosions rang out as he blasted himself forward, covering dozens of meters of distance.
Unlike most of the students, Bakugo had no intention of saving his strength. He had decided to push the throttle to the extreme from the get-go, destroying all and everything until only he remained.

"Arghhhh!" Bakugo growled, looking left and right. "Where are you?! Show yourself! Coward!!"
The hissing sound became a roar behind him, forcing him to look over his shoulder.
Two large horns were coming at him like missiles.

That couldn't have been further from the truth, though.
And once a Villain attacked him, destroying his ankle Gauntlets, thinking he had got him, then…
Bakugo grinned as he turned around, killing off all explosions, thinking about how he would destroy that Villain then.
He just couldn't wait for that time to come.
But, for now, he needed to take care of these weaklings.
Meanwhile, after missing him by mere inches, the horns slammed right into a skyscraper.
Boooooooooooom!
Bakugo ignored the blocks of concrete raining down because of the impact and focused on the region of the city where he had been circling all this time.
From so high, he could take in everything.
Even if the sudden increase in the horns' speed had taken him by surprise, he had been waiting for something like that to happen. If the horns hadn't destroyed themselves, then he had already planned to crush them.
Because once that happened, the enemy would… certainly send more horns.
A wide grin appeared on Bakugo's face as he saw another set of horns coming right at him.
This time, instead of running away, he went right for them, stretching out his arms and pulling a pin.
The BOOM rattled the windows so much that they exploded into shards.
He was still not proficient in using only his legs to fly, so Bakugo combined the explosions from his feet and hands to boost his speed, instantly maneuvering himself around a building to reach the origin of the horns.
"Gotcha!" Bakugo said, licking his lips.
In front of him, riding on another horn, was a girl with the same horns protruding out of her head.
It was Pony Tsunotori from Class 2-B, with Horn Cannon Quirk.
Bakugo didn't recognize her.
Not that it mattered.
The moment he saw her, he boomed his way toward her.
Meanwhile, with a pale face, Pony brought the horn she was riding on to its maximum speed, running away.
"Haha!" Bakugo laughed over the booms of explosions. "You can't run away!"
Pony took a strange turn and then dived straight down.
Bakugo followed, already stretching out his hand. One more second, and he would show her what a true explosion felt like. One more second, and he would make her regret targeting him.
Sadly… Pony had never feared Bakugo chasing her.
She had never thought of getting him with her horns.
All she had wanted to do was to piss Bakugo off and force him to chase her.
Knowing him, he wouldn't even think twice before following her and… reach the place where she wanted him to.
A dense, humid place.
Bakugo, who was about to erase everything in Pony's direction, suddenly felt odd.
He could smell the oddness, too — like the fresh smell of earth after the first rain.
Not only could he feel the humidity in the air, but he could also see it, blurring the entire block of buildings in front of him.
Then, Bakugo saw the strangest sight.
With loud POPS, mushrooms began appearing all over the place.
Small. Large. Black. Green. Yellow. And hundreds of different colors and sizes.
They covered all and everything from buildings to the roads.
The strangest sight followed the weirdest feeling, then.
A bulge appeared in Bakugo's throat as if something had magically appeared there.
In the next moment, not only did the bulge grow in size, but several more bulges appeared, stuffing his throat up to the back of his mouth and down to his lungs.
And then, gasping for air, and clutching his throat tight…
… Bakugo crashed, leaving behind a trail of black smoke!
