Sun and Moon continent
Sun City
As the capital of the Sun Kingdom on the Sun and Moon Continent, it was a place where prosperity was not whispered about—it was displayed openly in steel, glass, and humming arrays of light. Only Moo n City of the neighboring Moon Kingdom could rival it in wealth and influence.
Broad stone avenues stretched across the city like arteries, paved with polished slabs. Merchants called out enthusiastically from ornate storefronts.
"Soul guide, Level 1 skates, discounted today only!"
"Portable heating soul guides! Guaranteed to withstand northern winds!"
Colorful banners hung between buildings of white marble and brass. Some structures rose five or six stories high.
Citizens bustled everywhere. This was not merely a city.
It was a civilization powered who were slowly becoming strong though soul guides.
And yet—Amid this noise and brilliance, a golden-haired girl walked calmly along the main avenue.
No one noticed her, their eyes passed over her as if she were air.
Qian Renxue moved through the crowd like a ripple through water, untouchable and unseen. She stopped before a large merchant establishment whose signboard had words 'Angel's Guide' written on it.
Inside, display counters showcased various low level soul guides—wrist-mounted shields, communication devices, propulsion boots. The soul guides within glass cases, each tagged with neat price labels.
Qian Renxue stepped through the front door.
She passed directly through the shopfront counter as if it were mist and entered the corridor leading to the back office.
Two employees argued quietly over shipment schedules.
They did not see her.
At the end of the hallway, she entered a private office.
Behind a heavy wooden desk sat a middle-aged man with sharp features and disciplined posture. Papers and blueprints were spread before him. Several sealed letters bearing official emblems lay to one side.
He was reviewing purchase logs carefully, brows slightly furrowed. A soft voice echoed in the room.
"Cain. How is the plan going?"
The pen in his hand stopped moving, as Cain looked up abruptly.
For a split second, shock flashed across his face, then he immediately stood and dropped to one knee.
"Your Highness—"
Qian Renxue lifted a hand gently.
"No need for formalities."
Her tone was calm, but it carried unquestionable authority.
"Tell me about the plan's progress."
Cain stood at once, posture straightened.
"Yes."
He moved around the desk and began reporting efficiently.
"The acquisition of Level 5 and below attack soul guides has been proceeding smoothly. Civilian-grade and mid-tier military models are readily available in bulk. Through intermediaries, we have secured supply channels without raising suspicion."
He paused slightly.
"However, Level 6 and Level 7 soul guides are heavily regulated. Only certified military contractors or noble houses can purchase them. Even then, quantities are limited."
Cain's expression grew more serious.
"Level 8 soul guides are treated as national treasures. They are the pinnacle of current soul guide engineering here. Only the royal workshop and a handful of master soul engineers can produce them."
"They are not sold outside"
Qian Renxue's purple eyes narrowed faintly.
'So even the Sun and Moon Continent had not yet produced Level 9 soul guides at this stage—In the future timeline she, Level 9 soul guides would exist.'
'But now—The ceiling of this soul guide civilization was still Level 8.'
'Which meant—The technological explosion that would reshape wars had not yet fully occurred.'
Qian Renxue turned around, her eyes seemed to see through layers of space as her, consciousness sank deeper in the collective subconscious.
Then she saw a ship cutting through sea waves, on the endless sea separating continents.
At the bow of the ship stood a short, broad-shouldered man with a thick beard and fiery eyes. Lou Gao, the legendary craftsman of Douluo Continent.
Qian Renxue's aura enveloped the entire vessel like an invisible cocoon.
Her consciousness withdrew and she looked at Cain calmly.
"Don't worry about it. Lou Gao will be arriving soon."
Cain stiffened slightly.
"Lou… Gao?"
Qian Renxue replied " Yes, the divine blacksmith of Douluo Continent will be arriving here to learn about soul guides."
"Find a soul engineer who is able to make a Level 8 soul guide to teach him the basics," she continued evenly,
Silence filled the room, Cain's mind faltered, unable to understand that how will he find a Level 8 soul Engineer, who are in important positions in the country.
His rational mind struggled to reconcile the contradiction. Until he looked up.
Within them swirled a deep purple vortex—like a spiral galaxy collapsing inward.
In that instant—Cain understood.
He did not need to understand the method, he only needed to understand the result.
Nothing was impossible for the being before him.
He lowered his head respectfully.
"This subordinate obeys."
Qian Renxue nodded slightly.
Then her tone shifted.
"And another important thing."
Cain immediately straightened again.
"Begin construction of Angel's Churches across all major cities on this continent."
Qian Renxue continued calmly:
"You may contact the kings of both the Sun Kingdom and the Moon Kingdom. They will support you."
Cain's pupils contracted slightly. He looked up and found no one.
'She is gone.'
Cain remained frozen for several seconds.
The sunlight from the window felt slightly colder.
'When had she left?'
After a brief, unsettling moment—He exhaled slowly.
'Let's see, need to plan in accordance to execute the orders'
