Asura God King grumbled inwardly, he could not understand why the Destruction God King was opposing him so directly.
There had been no prior conflict between them on this matter.
However, every word spoken by the Destruction God King aligned perfectly with the laws of the Divine Realm.
This made it impossible for Asura to refute him head-on, but that did not mean he would let the matter end here.
His eyes flickered with a cold glint as he continued.
"Yes… that is correct."
His tone slowed slightly, as if carefully choosing his words.
"But that does not mean…that a newly born god can take advantage of this period—…and interfere with the inheritance of other gods in the mortal world."
The accusation had subtly changed direction, from a general violation of rules—to a targeted disruption of divine order.
At that moment, the Destruction God King narrowed his eyes slightly.
Before he could respond, another God King, Goddess of Kindness voice interjected.
"Are you planning to speak in riddles?"
Her gaze rested steadily on Asura.
"State your point clearly."
Asura God raised his hand slightly.
"That is not my intention. But I want all of you to understand…that our enemy is extremely cunning."
Then he continued.
"You are all aware…that the Sea God Poseidon recently acted out of anger."
A faint ripple moved through the council.
"The reason?"
"A rogue god—disguised and hidden as peak mortal expert—interfered with his inheritance in the mortal realm, by stealing an important artefact."
"The result was clear."
"Poseidon was provoked into directly attacking into the mortal world...and was subsequently punished by the Divine Council."
Asura paused, then dropped the second piece.
"But that is not all."
"My own inheritor…has deviated from his destined path."
"This deviation occurred just before his Ninth Trial."
"And the cause—is unknown."
He let out a slow breath.
"But I believe…this too is the work of that mysterious rogue goddess."
Then he added, almost as if reluctantly—
"Bound by the laws of the Divine Realm…I did not interfere."
The statement sounded righteous even self-restrained.
To the other God Kings, it carried weight. After all, a God King restraining himself despite personal loss—was a sign of adherence to order.
The Evil God King leaned forward slightly, a faint glint of interest in his eyes.
Asura's words were persuasive, not entirely lies—but not entirely truth either.
They were half-truths carefully arranged by him while speaking and was difficult to refute.
Destruction God King did not immediately object.
After all—He had heard Asura mention, some time ago, that an interesting inheritor had appeared in the mortal world.
A thought suddenly surfaced in his mind.
'Asura said the new goddess is extremely cunning…'
His gaze darkened slightly.
'Then… was her earlier approach to me—also part of a larger scheme?'
The image of Qian Renxue appeared in his mind.
'Was she trying to create a rift between me and Asura?'
The more he thought about it—The more plausible it seemed.
But then—Another thought struck him even harder.
'No…There is a flaw.'
He slowly looked toward the Asura God.
'If his inheritor was interfered with…If even the Ninth Trial was affected…'
A faint trace of coldness appeared in his gaze.
'Then how…—did he not notice it immediately?'
'As a God King…The controller of trials…How could he remain unaware of such interference?'
The Asura God, completely unaware of the storm of doubts forming within the mind of the Destruction God King, continued speaking with unwavering authority.
"Time and time again—There has been a god interfering with inheritances in the mortal world."
His voice echoed through the Divine Council Hall, firm and imposing.
"This individual is not only disrupting divine trials…but is also influencing the fate of the plane itself."
"This is no longer a minor matter."
"It is the responsibility of the Divine Realm…to punish such a rogue existence."
He paused briefly, then delivered his proposal.
"I propose—That we dispatch a team, led by a God King, to descend into the mortal world…and subdue this rogue goddess."
The moment those words fell—there was a heavy silence. God Kings, descending personally into the mortal realm was not a trivial matter.
Destruction God King remained silent, but inwardly, he sneered.
'A waste of time.'
His gaze lowered slightly, concealing the sharpness within his eyes.
'The goddess you are trying to hunt...is already in the Divine Realm. And it seems she has no intention of leaving.'
The Destruction God King slowly raised his head, then, he spoke slowly.
"How about…we take a different approach?"
"We can use this situation as an opportunity."
A faint flicker of purple lightning danced across his fingertips.
"Send more inheritances into the Douluo Continent."
"I believe...every one of us has subordinate gods who wish to pass on their divine thrones."
The other God Kings remained silent, listening.
"This way—"
"We not only observe the so-called rogue goddess…but also strengthen the Divine Realm by cultivating new successors."
Then he concluded calmly—
"And if she truly is interfering with inheritances…then it won't be long she will be caught red handed. Afterall she must only be a newly born goddess who has still not reached their peak."
Destruction God King's proposal hung in the air.
At the same time—deeper thought stirred within him.
'If this plan succeeds…and more inheritors ascend…Then the stagnant Divine Realm will finally change.'
A faint, almost imperceptible excitement flickered in his eyes.
