Damon circulated Qi through his own meridians, compressed the energy inside the Heavenly Ice Body, and released only short pulses, each separated by an interval of his choosing. The threads attached to the walls tried to follow, but they had been prepared to respond to the Heart, not to a human will capable of changing the tempo.
