(After the emotions of the reunion settled down slightly, and tears were replaced by smiles, Ahmed took a few steps toward Misaki, Honoka, and Yoshika, who were standing shyly near the apartment door.)
He looked at them with a reassuring smile, then turned to his family.
Ahmed: "Father... Mother... I want to introduce you to people who have become an important part of my life."
(Everyone's eyes turned toward the three girls.)
Misaki stepped forward first with quiet, steady steps, while Honoka stood by her side, and Yoshika shyly held onto the edge of her sister's clothes.
Ahmed gestured to them one by one.
Ahmed: "This is Misaki."
(Misaki bowed respectfully.)
Ahmed: "And this is Honoka."
(Honoka bowed back, shyly.)
Ahmed: "And this is Yoshika."
(Yoshika waved her little hand bashfully, and everyone smiled automatically.)
Ahmed's mother approached the girls. Even though she didn't understand Japanese, her warm smile was enough to convey her feelings. She gently patted Honoka's shoulder, then looked at Yoshika and smiled at her with the tenderness that mothers share everywhere. Yoshika's eyes widened slightly; it had been a long time since she had felt such familial warmth.
As for Ahmed's father, he smiled as he looked at the girls.
Ahmed's Father: "It seems my son has found another family here."
(Ahmed translated his words into Japanese.)
Misaki and Honoka looked at each other, and a small smile appeared on their faces. Within a few minutes, the apartment was filled with conversation and laughter. Everyone tried to get to know each other despite the language barrier. Ahmed was constantly switching between Arabic and Japanese, translating words and sentences until he felt more like a professional translator than a student. Everyone laughed whenever he occasionally mistook a translation or forgot a word here and there.
Little by little... the shyness faded.
The three girls began to feel as though they were among the members of a real family. The warmth that filled the apartment was too great for words to translate.
But amidst that happy atmosphere... Ahmed began to look around at the number of people inside the small apartment.
His father... his mother... his brothers... Misaki... Honoka... Yoshika...
Then, he let out a light laugh and shook his head.
Ahmed: "I think we have a small problem..."
(Everyone looked at him in surprise.)
Ahmed: "Where is everyone going to sleep?"
(The apartment erupted in laughter, while Ahmed realized he had to find a quick solution to this new problem.)
