Chapter 41 - Chapter 41-The Rebirth of Light

Valorian's blade the Ancient Light, shone like a sun that never set. Each strike was a thunderbolt that tore at the very fabric of the cosmos. The mortal blow aimed at Chrysalith was more than just a sword strike; it was a cosmic catastrophe that atomized Mars's moon Deimos and wrenched the red planet from its orbit. The power of the Ancient Light was a cosmic scream that echoed through the void. Half of Chrysalith's ancient, Ant-Tarantula hybrid body was annihilated by the horrifying attack. Its fragmented limbs were scattered into the depths of space in a burst of dark energy Shattered but still alive, Chrysalith turned to face Valorian. The hatred in its eyes was as red as the dusty soil of Mars. "This isn't over, Valorian," it hissed, its voice trembling with a rage that resonated even in the vacuum of space. "Now you will taste death." And in that moment, as if time itself had bent, a massive gateway appeared in space. It was a terrifying sight, like a star's final moment before collapsing into a black hole. The portal's gravitational pull was so strong that it dragged Valorian, Chrysalith, and even Mars's other moon, Phobos, into its maelstrom before sealing shut without a trace. When Valorian opened his eyes, he found himself in a scene he couldn't have imagined: the Hydra Constellation. A planet the size of Jupiter loomed before him, and upon its peak, a fearsome being sat on a colossal throne. This was Vorgath, the right hand and most powerful commander of the Ancient Darkness, Oblivor. The solar systems of Hydra were swarming with Vorgath's armies of Ancient Dragons and Dark Knights, their numbers exceeding a billion. The sight chilled Valorian, a Monarch of Light, to the bone.

In a state of shock, Valorian tore off the head of Chrysalith, which he still held by the throat, and cast its lifeless body into the bottomless void of space. He fixed his gaze on Vorgath, his voice filled with fury. "You traitor! How dare you still look at me?"

Vorgath's generals, Draemorth and Xerathul, stepped forward. "Master, allow us to handle him," they said.

Vorgath raised his hand. "Wait. There is something I must learn."

He then used his terrifying telekinetic power to pull Valorian towards him. The pull was so violent that it tore several nearby planets to pieces. He seized Valorian by the throat and spoke. "I trained you. I taught you all the tactics of war, but you turned your back on me and continued to serve Aurion. Why did you do this, you wretch?"

Valorian's eyes held neither fear nor remorse. "You are a vile creature who bites the hand that feeds you," he retorted. "Lord Aurion spared your life, but you betrayed him and defected to Oblivor's side. You need to understand why you did it: He is deceiving you. His goal is to defeat the Absolute Sovereign and to do that, he wants to absorb the power of Aurion and all the monarchs."

A look of profound disappointment and disgust crossed Vorgath's face. "Lord Oblivor has always helped me. He gave me his power in my most critical moments. When no one wanted me, he took me in and embraced me. Aurion was a liar. His goal was to slander Oblivor to defeat the Absolute Sovereign. Now you have two choices, Valorian. Either you surrender and give us your soul to fight in our ranks, or your soul will suffer eternal torment

As Vorgath's words echoed in Valorian's mind, memories played out like a film. He found himself on an unnamed, dark planet in the depths of space, sparring with Xu Liangchen, the young son of the Dark Monarch Mortis. Though just a boy, Xu attacked with incredible speed and power, parrying all of Valorian's moves and pushing him back with every blow. Finally, a fatal strike sent Valorian crashing to the ground.

From his massive throne, Mortis smiled. "You've failed again, Valorian," he said with a voice full of mockery. "At this rate, you'll never be one of Lord Oblivor's seven Monarchs."

Valorian, covered in blood, struggled to his feet at Mortis's command. He charged at Xu with all his might, but Xu's sword sliced Valorian's in two. "Inadequate," Xu muttered. "I need a stronger opponent." He turned to his father, a challenging glint in his eyes. "Father, I'm ready to fight you now. Come on, try me!"

Mortis smiled. "Watch yourself, Xu." He rose from his throne and attacked Xu with his purple-black sword. The resulting clash created an explosion that obliterated several nearby planets. They moved so fast that Valorian couldn't even see them. Their impacts echoed through space like a symphony. Xu Liangchen unleashed a devastating energy burst with his attack, which he called "Destruction of Darkness." As Valorian watched all this, he lay in a pool of his own blood, on the verge of death.

Just then, a portal opened in space. A golden-yellow light burst from it, falling onto the dark planet. From the light, a figure glowing like an angel emerged—Vorgath. He gently took Valorian and passed back through the portal. They found themselves in the Sirius Constellation, on a planet filled with light. There, the Ancient Light itself, Aurion, sat on a glowing throne.Vorgath laid the unconscious Valorian before Aurion and spoke with respect. "My Lord, as you commanded."Aurion smiled and rose from his throne. He shone so brightly that all the soldiers around him had to cover their eyes. Even the seven Monarchs of Light bowed in reverence. Aurion approached the unconscious Valorian and shouted in a powerful voice, "Vatra!" A massive beam of light surged towards Valorian's body. He instantly came to, screaming in agony. His eyes glowed like pure light. The resulting energy burst was so powerful that it tore half of the Whirlpool Galaxy to shreds.Aurion returned to his throne. When Valorian recovered, he was glowing with pure gold light, and four wings had sprouted from his back. Seeing Aurion, he immediately drew his sword and shouted, "Aurion, I will tear you to pieces! You will pay for what you did to our Lord Oblivor!"Aurion smiled calmly. "They left you to die and always mocked you. Will you still stand by them?" Valorian looked at him in surprise. "What makes me think you won't deceive me?" he asked. Aurion smiled, extending his hand. "I like you. Be my lieutenant." At that moment, Vorgath presented Valorian with a gold, glowing sword. "A gift from our Lord. A small part of his power is in this sword. All the Monarchs have one."During this exchange, a soldier glowing with pure gold light stood nearby and smiled. This soldier would later go to Earth in human form and become a national-level hunter named Alexei Dragunov. Valorian's journey from his darkest moment to his brightest destiny was just beginning

Valorian took the sword without hesitation. It had no weight it felt like a shard of light in his hand, yet the power it radiated was immense. The blade wasn't just a weapon it was a symbol of his loyalty to Aurion and a new beginning. It erased all the past pain, the humiliations he'd suffered in Oblivor's ranks and the mocking laughter of Mortis

As Valorian gripped the sword, everything around him grew brighter. His new wings shone with a golden light, circling him like a pair of shields. He was no longer the weak warrior mocked by the darkness; he was now one of the most powerful Monarchs of Light, a hero reborn by Aurion and rescued by Vorgath, who would betray him in the future
