"Adding seats on the spot, is this allowed?"
Daisy looked calm and composed, "I don't recall our auction seminar allowing for last-minute additions!"
Coincidentally, with two more seats added, Daisy and Julian would be bumped to the back. The people in the back didn't care much, as only the front 10 rows were prominent; the rest were all the same.
However, hearing Daisy's protest, many others echoed her sentiment.
"I've never heard of such a thing."
"Yeah, strange, how can people be added last minute?"
...
"Daisy, aren't those two Huaxia people with you?"
Julian glanced at the name tags on the seats, which read Chu Beining and Ji Changqing.
Though she wasn't certain, the late additions being two Huaxia people... it seemed very likely.
"Huaxia people?"
Huaxia hadn't added newcomers for several years, although the head of the International Agricultural Research Institute and some key members were Huaxia people.
