Chapter 92 - Beat ⁹²★“Spoiled kid…☆

"Spoiled kid

Smart was now behind the wheel.

He felt relieved that he had managed to get Jin away before anyone could recognize him.

Jin leaned his head on Smart's shoulder, quietly enjoying the ride as if nothing had happened.

"Jin… do you know what would've happened if they recognized you?" Smart asked, his eyes still on the road.

"Hmm… I know," Jin replied calmly."And I don't care."

"Bubu… you have to be more careful.

Everything we do has consequences, you know?

We can't just act selfish."

Jin lifted his head and looked straight at Smart.

"I told you… I don't care," he said stubbornly.

"So stop worrying about it."

He leaned closer and kissed Smart on the cheek, then rested his head on his shoulder again, pressing himself even closer.

Smart gently stroked his hair and kissed the top of his head.

"Do you know how cute you look right now?"

"Eyes on the road, babe," Jin said in an authoritative tone.

But secretly, a small smile curved on his lips, as if he had just heard the most beautiful word in the world.

Smart laughed softly.

You really think I don't know how much you like it when I call you cute?

Let's see how long you'll keep pretending you don't, Smart thought to himself, continuing to drive calmly down the road.

✧

A few minutes passed on the road, and Jin slowly fell asleep, resting lightly against Smart's shoulder.

Smart pulled the car over and stopped. He unbuckled his own seatbelt first, then carefully reached over and removed Jin's as well.

Gently, he adjusted Jin's position, guiding his head to rest against his chest.

Then he wrapped his arms around Jin's neck and held him close, hugging him tightly.

"You're really that cute… you know that?

Why do you make me see nothing else but you?

You make me forget everything, and I just want to be with you—

I feel like I'd die if I didn't see you for even a single day," Smart murmured over Jin's head, thinking he was asleep.

Jin's heart started racing wildly, and a joyful smile slowly spread across his lips.

He had heard every word, and his heart felt like it was melting completely.

"My babe… I feel the same way about you.

Every day, I'm falling for you even more.

Nothing else in this world matters."

*My mind… it's stuck on just one place. That place… is you,* Jin thought, keeping his eyes closed, wanting to stay even longer in Smart's arms.

Before long, sleep gently claimed him again.

✧

A few moments passed, and finally Jin opened his eyes, lifting his head to see Smart's face glowing in the sunlight.

"An angel… asleep," Jin whispered, lightly brushing his finger over Smart's lips while gently caressing him.

Smart felt it—and immediately bit his finger.

"Careful… I might be a dangerous angel," he said, opening his eyes with a teasing smile.

Jin smiled, but his voice was firm.

""You'll be mine, no matter what… dangerous or not," Jin said firmly, leaning in to kiss him softly..

"Okay… okay," Smart replied, a playful grin on his face.

"I'll be yours forever.

Come on, let's step out for a bit."

Jin turned his head and realized they were right at their spot— the place where they had shared their first moments together, watched the sunrise and sunset, and stared at the stars at midnight.

The two of them stepped outside, taking in the breathtaking view.

Jin wrapped his arms around Smart from behind, whispering,

"I can't stand it when someone gets close to you…

I try to keep myself in check, but it's so hard!"

"Hmmm… I know. I know you're trying to hold yourself back, but I think you're improving," Smart said with a playful smile.

"What does that mean?" Jin asked, tightening his arms around Smart's waist.

"It means… you saw the whole situation with that girl, and you didn't go all crazy.

You're starting to keep your cool."

Jin spun him around, turning Smart to face him directly.

"I don't know if I can keep my cool next time," he whispered, his eyes gleaming.

"Bubu…

It doesn't matter how many people tease me or like me.

What matters is that in this whole universe, you're the only one I care about."

Smart kissed him softly on the lips, then spoke again.

"You trust me… right?"

"I trust you completely," Jin replied.

"You'd never dare look at anyone else, right?"

"Right…"

"Uhh… here we go again with that authority of yours," Smart whispered.

"Tell me… I want to hear it from your lips," Jin insisted, pressing for an answer.

""Okay… I'd never dare.

And do you know why?"

"Hmm… tell me," Jin teased.

"Because my weak gaze belongs only to you," Smart said, jokingly.

"Your weak gaze will get strong again…

And it'll all be just for me," Jin whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his eyes.

"We've got a doctor's appointment this week," he added calmly.

Smart didn't even try to argue—it would've been pointless.

Jin had already made up his mind.

"Mm… okay, if you say so," Smart murmured.

They spent beautiful moments together on that hill, taking in the city's stunning panorama.

Wrapped in each other's arms, it felt like they never wanted to let go, not for a single moment.

"Bebe… let's go somewhere," Smart said, taking his hand.

"Wait a sec," Jin tugged lightly.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see when we get there," Smart replied, heading toward the car.

Jin buckled his seatbelt, and as Smart hit the gas, he rested his head gently on Smart's shoulder.

With his arms, he looped around Smart's free arm, holding on tight.

"Mmm… this feels so good," he murmured sweetly.

"Careful… or you'll fall in love," Smart teased, for the umpteenth time.

"I told you… I don't want to be careful," Jin replied calmly.

"Okok… my cute face.

Don't hold back—just let yourself fall for me."

I want you to melt with love for me… go crazy for me—did you hear that?"

Jin smiled.

"I want the same thing…

for you to fall completely for me,

to not be able to catch a breath without me."

"Wow… that's intense.

You want me to… die?" Smart teased, half-joking.

"Yes," Jin's calm voice answered firmly,

"you're allowed to die only for me… only for me."

"Okok… I'd die entirely for you.

Do you know how damn sensitive you've been today?

But… I don't know why, it feels so nice to see you like this.

I want to know every single part of your character—every side of you," Smart said, his voice trembling with excitement.

"You'll see it all… slowly, we have time.

But be careful… I don't want you to bring out my dark side."

"Now I'm curious," Smart said immediately, teasing him.

"Should I uncover this side of you too?"

"I'd suggest… not," Jin replied firmly.

A faint smile crossed Smart's lips, but in his mind, he couldn't stop wondering…

What could be Jin's dark side?

They left that beautiful hill behind, driving toward the destination Smart had in mind, the road stretching out before them.

✧ — ✧ — ✧

"Dex… where are we going?" Han asked immediately, unsure which way to take.

"To my apartment? Yeah, follow my lead," Dex replied right away.

"Hmmm… okay.

I hope those crazies aren't following us again," Han muttered, turning his head to check for any suspicious cars behind them.

"Looks like you're taking this bodyguard role seriously, huh?" Dex teased, a playful smirk on his lips, trying to tease him even more.

Han glanced sideways and took a deep breath.

"Oh god… am I really supposed to put up with this tattooed guy for a whole month?

Maybe I should ask Jin for help—wait, got it."

"Forget Jin. You think I'd let him help you?

You have no choice…

Or are you one of those types who don't keep their promises?" Dex said, slowly making him realize he had no choice.

"Never! Never ever.

I do exactly what I say—once I say something, there's no turning back," Han said, his voice dead serious, but inside he was screaming, *I just want to run away from you!*

"Then I guess we're going to get along just fine… as long as you follow my orders," Dex added, a teasing glint in his eyes.

"Your orders??"

Damn… is he teasing me? Han's thoughts slipped out past his lips and landed straight in Dex's ears.

"Speak properly with me—watch your tone," Dex criticized again.

"Ok, ok… my bad.

I keep forgetting you're thirty.

You don't look it at all… you could pass as my age," he murmured.

Dex crossed his arms, eyes tracing that spoiled little guy—so cute, yet impossible to resist!

"Why do you have to be younger than me?

If it weren't for this age gap… I swear, I wouldn't even care about Jin.

I'd have already gotten you into my bed," Dex thought, a devilish smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Han asked.

"Like you have some mischievous plan…"

"Nothing… just watch the road," Dex said calmly.

"I know… my day started this morning like a total disaster,

then somehow it turned really cool for a few hours…

and now it's back to disaster…

a complete mess.

But you know what?" he said, gripping the steering wheel with a sudden determination.

"I figured it out."

"What did you figure out? Tell me," Dex asked, curious and a little wary, wondering what he was coming up with now.

"Before we head to your apartment… should we stop somewhere?"

"Where?" Dex asked, surprised.

"Today, I'm telling you, someone's put a dark spell on me.

We need to go somewhere that can read fate… find out who did this!" Han declared.

"Just give me a name, and I'll go… I'll catch them—with both hands!"

He let go of the wheel for dramatic effect, and the car swerved.

Dex yelped, slapping his hand back on the wheel.

"What are you doing?!"

"I'll grab them with both hands, put them by their throat, and ask—

'What do you want from me? What the heck do you even want?'

Then I'll lift them into the air with all my strength

Han threw his head back dramatically, like he was really about to launch someone into the sky.

"Hmm… just like this, exactly how I'll do it!" he said, then turned his eyes toward Dex, who was silently holding the wheel.

"Hey! What are you doing with your hands on the wheel?

Don't you see the driver here?

Relax, sit back in your seat—I'll handle the car!

Just stay put!!"

Dex was thoroughly entertained by the little scene Han had just acted out, genuinely amazed.

He chuckled to himself, unable to ignore how cute Han looked in his eyes.

"Han… stop the car," Dex said softly, almost quietly.

Han heard him but didn't slow down.

"It's my car—I'll stop when I want!"

"Damn… he's stubborn," Dex thought, then raised his voice.

"Stop this damn car, I said! Now!"

Han froze for a moment, then, clearly startled, slammed the brakes right in the middle of the road.

"What the hell are you doing? Is this how you stop a car?"?" Dex shouted again.

"Oh god, what's wrong with you guys…

You tell me to stop the car, I do, and now you start complaining—

You and Smart, nothing but complaints today," Han muttered, shrugging like he was annoyed.

"Ok, ok—don't be upset.

Sorry for yelling. Let's switch seats.

I'll drive now, okay?"

"Why? The car's mine, and I'm driving it—stay right where you are."

"Han, don't make me yell again!

Enough of your stubbornness. Get out of the car, or I'll have to use force," Dex warned.

"Force? Who do you think you are, ordering me around?

What makes you think you can?"

"Starting today, and until a full month passes, I'm the boss.

When I speak, you listen. Got it?

Now get out and don't make me lose it.," Dex said, his deep voice managing to shake Han a little.

"Eh, ok, ok… I'm getting out, don't yell," Han muttered, hopping out immediately.

Dex slid into the driver's seat and immediately hit the gas, speeding off with his emotions still running high.

Han pressed himself back into the seat, his hands starting to sweat…

Dex noticed, curious since Han was staying quiet, saying nothing.

"You okay? What's wrong?"

"Can you slow down a bit?" Han whispered, almost under his breath.

"Afraid of speed?" Dex asked, turning his head slightly toward him.

"Mm… yeah, I'm not feeling well… feels like I can't breathe," Han admitted.

Dex immediately eased off the gas as soon as he heard Han was struggling.

Han took a deep breath, calming himself for a few seconds… and then started again.

"Surely one of the girls I've had must've put some kind of curse on me…

Cursed me for leaving her, and now she's trying to mess with me!"

Dex glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, unable to hold back a smirk.

"You really like girls, huh? Right?"

"Hmmm… yes. And you?" Han asked, curious.

"I like guys," Dex said smoothly, a playful smile tugging at his lips.

Han turned back to the road, staying quiet.

"What? Lost for words? Scared?" Dex teased.

"Scared? Me? Absolutely not!" Han said, his voice firm… even though deep down, he did feel a little shaken.

"Don't worry. You don't meet my standards.

You're too young for me—I don't go for spoiled kids like you, and I don't go for babies. I prefer someone more mature—okay?" Dex replied.

Han turned to him, raising an eyebrow.

"So you're calling me a spoiled kid… and a baby? Seriously?"

"Yep. Not my type—at all. Not even close to my standards.

So just sleep easy… I'm never coming after you.

You're literally out of my orbit," Dex said, smirking as he caught Han with the corner of his eye.

Han felt his blood boil instantly.

What the hell does this guy think he is? Some untouchable god?

Who the hell is he, telling me I don't meet his standards?!

"Are you mad?" Dex asked, trying to provoke him again.

Han smirked, irony in his voice.

"No… why would I be mad? I'm just curious—what exactly are your standards? They seem… pretty high."

"Fair point. They are high, and very few people actually meet them.

And you? You're not one of them.

You don't even meet 1% of what I require."

Suddenly, Han felt his blood boil again

It was the first time someone had spoken to him like that, and he couldn't help feeling a little offended.

"I'll show you!

Just wait…

I'll make you worship my standards.

I've got a month to drag you down into my territory," the thought ran deep in Han's mind, looping over and over.

"Let's start by testing him… pushing his buttons a little, just to see how he reacts," Han decided, a sly grin forming.

Dex could sense that Han was annoyed, but he did all of this so that Han would feel secure with him and not worry about anything else.

"I'm glad I'm outside your orbit," Han broke the silence between them.

"Even if I were inside your orbit… it would be pointless! I've got my own orientation—I don't like guys.

But even if I did… you'd still be last on my list."

Every word Han spoke hit Dex like a punch to the head.

Han was the only one with the guts to tell him he was at the very bottom of his priorities.

Never before had anyone dared to say something like that straight to Dex's face.

He gripped the steering wheel tight from pure frustration, not a single word escaping his lips.

"Don't you dare push me further… I swear, if you do, I'll forget this age difference and make you pay for every single word you just said," Dex thought, flooring the gas even more in anger.

Han watched, feeling a surge of triumph, as if he'd just scored a small victory.

Seeing Dex's tattooed hands gripping the wheel so hard made his heart race—

if the wheel had been a person, it would've been crushed by now!

Dex slammed the gas even harder, and the car shot forward.

Han called out several times for him to slow down, but Dex had completely lost control.

Han reached out and lightly grabbed Dex's hand.

Dex didn't react at first, so Han squeezed a little harder.

The firm grip snapped Dex back to reality, and he immediately brought the car to a stop.

He turned to Han, noticing the fear in his eyes.

"Please… calm down," Dex said softly.

"Sorry, I lost control," he added, gently caressing Han's hand with both of his.

Han calmed down and immediately pulled his hand back.

"Mm… okay. Just try to keep the speed under control. I called out a few times, and you weren't listening, which scared me even more."

Dex started the car again and eased on the gas, continuing down the road now that Han had settled.

After a few moments, Han pulled out his phone and started scrolling through TikTok, when suddenly he saw himself.

"Damn it!" he shouted loudly.

"What's wrong? Dex asked.

"Look," Han said, turning the phone toward Dex's face.

Han's TikTok feed was flooded with videos of him and Dex from when they had left the café, with Han holding Dex's hand.

Endless clips and all kinds of hashtags:

#dexboyfriend

#DexAndThatCuteGuy

#DexCaught

#DexAndWho

#DexSecretBoyfriend

Dex glanced at them but didn't pay much attention—it was normal for people to spread videos like this.

"So, besides being my bodyguard… you're also my secret boyfriend," Dex laughed, turning his head back to the road.

Han looked at him in surprise.

"Dex… aren't you worried about this?"

"No, not at all," he replied calmly.

"Oh… I see," Han said, lowering his head.

"Han, if you're worried, just tell me and I'll fix it," Dex said, his voice serious.

Han immediately lifted his head.

"How?"

"Don't ask too much! I've got my ways.

Just tell me if this affects you, and I'll fix everything myself."

Han hesitated for a moment, noticing a sharp, cold side of Dex he hadn't seen.

He didn't know what Dex was capable of and felt a little uneasy.

"Ah—no, no, it doesn't bother me at all.

Let them talk.

Thanks to you, I might even become famous too, and maybe get more attention from the girls," Han said, laughing.

Dex shook his head and lightly tapped him on the head.

"Spoiled kid… behave yourself."

"Don't call me a spoiled kid!" Han muttered.

"Okay, okay," Dex said, chuckling, and continued driving toward his apartment.
