Synopsis
Aurora Hayes was a shining star in her family, a girl who had it all - brains, a big heart, and a drive to succeed. She grew up in a home filled with love, where her family was always there to encourage her and help her reach for her dreams. Things took a dramatic turn when her parents stumbled upon a secret she had been keeping from them. Things changed really fast at home. The daughter who was once loved and adored became someone her family could hardly bear to be around. The house, which was once full of warmth and love, turned cold and empty. Instead of kindness and support, she faced hurtful words, rejection, and a deep feeling of loneliness. Even her younger brothers and sisters were kept away from her, as if she was a bad influence on them. As the years pass, Aurora struggles to survive a world that seems determined to break her. With her dreams shattered and her family turned against her, she begins to wonder if life is worth living. But storms do not last forever. One day, the girl everyone abandoned will rise from the ashes of her pain and those who hurt her will be forced to face the consequences of what they did.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Waking up from the sun rays shining bright through the window, I yawned, rubbing my eyes lazily. I stood up from my bed and went to take a cool bath. After that as I was coming out of the bathroom, I heard Miss Hayes on the door saying, 'Breakfast is ready. ' "I'll be there, " I said, a lil bit cold. With that, I started getting ready, knowing I have a busy day ahead. As soon as I was done, I headed towards the door. Good morning, Miss Hayes, ' Kai greeted. Today's schedule has been planned. 'I'll be sending you a copy immediately, ' he said as I headed down the stairs towards the dinning area. Breakfast was already served. I sat down to eat with Kai standing a few meters away from me. You can come join me for breakfast, Kai, ' I said without raising my face from my food, um, I'm okay ma, ' he said softly without saying anything. I finished my food and headed to the car. ' we'll be heading to the Storme headquarters; that's where the meeting for the new project will be held; I didn't say anything as he continued to tell me everything I had today, even though he had already sent me a copy. The drive to the Storme's was quiet calm.
