"Aurelia, Mianovell? Could you please get on stage, or shall I mark you as absent?" The old female professor narrowed her eyes.
"Uhmmm...um....I...I am... here..." The tiny girl gradually made her way towards the stage, no more than 5'1"; her soft, fluffy blonde fringe framed her round face, her eyes like a puppy as they started to water with fear of attention and the stern tone of Professor McGonagall.
She slowly walked onto the stage and sat down like a ball, curling up into herself, as if something negligible, as if she was a mere mouse inside the hall wanting to disappear after stealing food.
"Hmm.....oh...?" The sorting hat hums, "What a...damaged soul but with such resilient...oh, what's this....a set of original magic against dark magic? Unprecedented for a kid...."
That gained a gasp from the crowd. Original magic? As in, self-made magic spells of some sort? Snape and Dumbledore quickly exchanged glances.
"If not for the kind of purifying power you own...Slytherin would be for potential...HUFFLEPUFF!!" The sorting hat shouted.
Then cheers erupted slowly from the Hufflepuff table as students recovered from Frolava's dramatic appearance.
She walked back down the stage slowly. Feeling her legs tremble from the full-blown attention from others, she could nearly hear her heart jumping out of her body, almost.
"Here, you can sit around us!!" A few middle-year Hufflepuff girls quickly but not overly frequently gathered around her, pulling the seats together further away to make room for the newcomer.
"T-thank you...." The tiny girl named Aurelia smiled, softly. A faint rosy colour gently crept onto her cheeks as her small lips curled upwards. Timid, but undeniably there.
"No problem! So, tell us more about yourselves..." "Yeah! I heard the sorting hat said you have original magic! Did you create charms and spells on your own?" "Oh, that is really cool...." The girls eagerly asked their questions. It would have been warming if not for her social anxiety.
"Uhm...u..uhm...." The tiny girl slowly dug herself backwards as she shied away from the too-heartwarming questions all of a sudden.
"Hey now, let's start slow with our new friend here, shall we?" A gentle male voice rang behind Aurelia. His skin was pale, his hair brown, and his lips pink.
Aurelia jumped at the sudden voice behind, clearly, she did not expect to have new attention on her.
The male smiled warmly at her. "My name is Cedric Diggory. Don't be afraid; the mates here are all very kind. We love to help each other out. So you are safe, you have nothing to worry about."
Perhaps it was the comforting smile he wore on his lips; she slowly calmed down and smiled back at her new friends.
As soon as their focus was back on stage, the seat above it cracked with a loud creaking noise------there sat Aiden, his expression embarrassed as he grimaced, one of his massive hands scratching the back of his head. Again, this made the stern professors wear a new expression on their face. Some facepalmed, some couldn't hold back an amused smile, and obviously one sneered.
"Repario." With a flick of his wand, the chair was now back to its original state; just as fast and sudden as it was broken.
The sorting hat continued above his head, "Hm...surely a wreckage of power...you own power none have, yet you chose not to succumb nor inflict it upon others... Clearly your heart of gold is way louder than your desire for power. GRYFFINDOR!" It shouted after a while of contemplation.
No, seriously, since when did Hogwarts have such weird yet powerful students as transfers?
Would it be weird anymore that the next new transfer student be a literal goddess at this point?
Oh well, who cares. At least the Gryffindor table is erupting with cheers now.
"Woah mate, you are absolutely gigantic!" One of the infamous red-haired twins said. "And broad." The other finishes the sentence for each other.
"Ahhahaha!!" Aiden laughed heartily, as if he has became a part of them already, his arms wrapped around as much as students as he could in his sitting roll, grabbing a boy fixing his round glasses, a girl who read books for too long, and yet another red hair male who tried sneaking food in his mouth since this sorting event has been long enough for him to endure."All thanks to that, I could do this!!" He squeezed them all tightly. "Oh...you guys are so adorable. I am gonna cook for us all someday!"
"Bloody hell--he's massive!" Ron spoke with wide eyes as he struggled to speak clearly with food in his mouth.
"Erm.... thanks, I suppose." Harry smiled awkwardly, but still there was hope for new friends behind those green eyes.
"Woah, watch it--my books are going to tear--!" Hermione said urgently as she quickly put her books down, saving them from being squashed. Though, there was a faint smile tugged around the corner of her lips.
Well, at least the trio and the twins enjoyed the giant's greeting and survived the squeeze.
"Ahem," the professor cleared her throat and continued. The next we have---"
"Yes, that's right, me, your most beautiful goddess alive~."
