[OVERVIEW]

(NOTE: KAC-117-X is classified as provisionally a Category 3 entity despite its immense power to alter local reality. However, continued observations and studies have suggests that the entity known as "Mr. X" may be capable of much more.)

KAC-117-X, commonly referred to as "Mr. X," is a humanoid male entity possessing extremely high-grade reality alteration capabilities.

The entity appears capable of restructuring local reality through simple physical gestures, most commonly the snapping of his fingers. Observed alterations include environmental rewriting, physical law, spatial reconfigurations, object transmutation, wounds, gravity inversion, biological transformation, spontaneous materialization, and localized causality edits.

KAC-117-X's physical capabilities are also notable. Despite lacking visible enhancement, armor, Aura signatures, divine reinforcement, cybernetic augmentation, or known metaphysical blessings, KAC-117-X has demonstrated physical capabilities comparable to active Omega Agents. One of which being KAC-444-A: Thanatos.

Due to this combination of overwhelming utility, survivability, and apparent intelligence, KAC-117-X was repeatedly approached for recruitment into the Omega Agent Program.

All attempts failed.

The attempts failed because there was no reason they succeeded.

There was also no reason they failed.

And that is the anomaly.

---

[DISCOVERY]

KAC-117-X was first encountered during Incident 4040-A, following the spontaneous collapse of a Category 3 containment operation in World #117.

A hostile spatial parasite had breached a populated metropolitan sector, folding an entire city into a recursive interior loop. Standard evacuation became impossible after all streets, avenues, buildings, and many other infrastructures began returning civilians to their original positions.

Omega Agents were then authorized deployment.

However, before deployment could occur, KAC-117-X appeared in the center of the city.

Witnesses described him as a well-dressed adult male of average height, wearing a dark suit, black gloves, polished shoes, and a long coat despite clear weather. However his facial features were null. All there was, was an X for a face.

All recordings show his face as an X.

When the spatial parasite attempted to attack him, KAC-117-X snapped his fingers.

The parasite became a paper crane.

The folded city unfolded. The civilians were relocated outside the city perimeter. All damaged infrastructure returned to their original state.

The paper crane then flew into KAC-117-X's hand. He then approached the nearest KAC agent and asked him, showing the paper crane:

"Was this yours?"

When questioned, he gave no name. When asked what the entity was, he responded:

"Mr. X will do."

[DESCRIPTION]

KAC-117-X appears as a humanoid male between twenty-five and forty years of age. Apparent age fluctuates slightly depending on observer, recording medium, and lighting conditions.

Common traits include:

 - Male-presenting humanoid form

 - Black or dark-colored formal clothing

 - Black gloves

 - Calm posture

 - Polite speech patterns

 - Minimal emotional fluctuation

 - No detectable biological abnormalities

 - No detectable Aura output

 - No divine, demonic, conceptual, kaiju, memetic, pataphysical, thaumaturgic, or metaphysical signature

 - No consistent facial description across reports besides the X.

---

[NATURE]

KAC-117-X is not merely a reality warper. Reality warping implies an alteration of existing structure by a force, will, mechanism, or authority. The entity appears to bypass this model.

His changes do not always follow intention, causality, probability, narrative logic, conceptual hierarchy, divine mandate, or metaphysical transaction. When the entity snaps his fingers, the surrounding world becomes different. This difference may correspond to his apparent desire.

It may also not.

However, in most observed cases, the result is favorable to the entity, harmless to uninvolved civilians, and disruptive to hostile entities.

The anomaly becomes more severe when examining the failure of KAC recruitment attempts.

The KAC has successfully recruited gods, monsters, artificial intelligences, living weapons, cursed survivors, conceptual avatars, and entities whose existence violates ordinary personhood.

KAC-117-x should have been recruitable.

He is communicative. He is not hostile. He has assisted KAC operations. He has expressed no hatred toward humanity. He has even cooperated during field emergencies. And yet every attempt to formally recruit him fails.

The reason cannot be identified.

The absence of reason is not a gap in information.

It is the phenomenon itself.

[EFFECTS/ABILITIES]

KAC-117-X's anomalous capabilities are broadly categorized as high-grade local reality manipulation, usually expressed through a finger snap, casual gesture, or simple act of attention. The following categories are currently recognized:

1. Material Reconfiguration

KAC-117-X can alter the physical composition, structure, and state of matter within his area of influence.

Observed examples include:

* Turning steel into glass, cloth, water, smoke, or paper

* Restoring broken objects to an undamaged state

* Converting weapons into harmless household items

* Turning hostile anomalous growths into inert sculptures

* Changing the density, weight, hardness, temperature, and texture of objects

* Reassembling destroyed buildings as if no damage occurred

This effect does not appear to obey conservation of mass or energy.

During Incident 4040-A, KAC-117-X transformed a hostile spatial parasite into a paper crane. The entity's biological, dimensional, and anomalous properties were reduced into folded paper without visible effort.

2. Spatial Manipulation

KAC-117-X can distort, rearrange, compress, expand, invert, or redirect space.

Observed examples include:

* Folding city blocks into smaller interior spaces

* Expanding the inside of a room beyond its exterior dimensions

* Making doors lead to unrelated locations

* Shortening distances between two points

* Separating connected spaces

* Rotating local geometry

* Removing the concept of "between" from two locations

* Making an attack miss by altering the space it travels through

Spatial anchors, dimensional locks, and standard containment geometry have proven unreliable against this effect.

In one test, KAC-117-X entered a sealed chamber without opening the door. When questioned, he stated:

> "The room was closer from outside."

3. Dimensional Manipulation

KAC-117-X can manipulate dimensional status, including both lower-dimensional reduction and higher-dimensional elevation.

This effect allows him to alter whether a target exists as a three-dimensional object, a two-dimensional construct, a one-dimensional line, or a higher-dimensional structure incomprehensible to ordinary perception.

Observed and theorized applications include:

* Turning a living person into a two-dimensional drawing on paper

* Restoring a two-dimensional image into a physical three-dimensional body

* Compressing a hostile entity into a flat diagram

* Pulling fictional or illustrated objects into three-dimensional space

* Folding a three-dimensional room into a two-dimensional map

* Making a person temporarily "thin" enough to pass through sealed barriers

* Elevating an object into a higher-dimensional state to avoid damage

* Reducing higher-dimensional entities into lower-dimensional, vulnerable forms

During Controlled Demonstration 4040-D, KAC-117-X touched a portrait of a chair. The chair became physically real. He then snapped his fingers, and the chair returned to the painting with a visible shadow that had not been present before.

When asked whether the chair was the same chair, KAC-117-X replied:

> "It was flat for a while."

4. Biological Revision

KAC-117-X can alter living bodies without surgical, chemical, magical, or technological procedure.

Observed examples include:

* Closing wounds instantly

* Removing poison from the bloodstream

* Replacing damaged organs

* Altering muscle density

* Reversing aging in localized tissue

* Turning hostile biological anomalies into harmless organisms

* Temporarily changing species classification

* Suspending biological functions without killing the target

KAC-117-X has used this effect to save injured civilians and KAC personnel. However, he has also used it casually.

During one incident, a hostile canine anomaly was transformed into a normal dog. The dog retained a dislike of KAC uniforms but lost all anomalous properties.

5. Law Alteration

KAC-4040 can locally suspend or rewrite physical laws.

Observed examples include:

* Reversing gravity

* Removing friction

* Making fire cold

* Preventing objects from falling

* Allowing sound to become solid

* Making shadows exert force

* Causing light to bend around selected individuals

* Preventing momentum from transferring on impact

These alterations are usually temporary, but not always. In several cases, KAC repair teams had to manually correct areas where local physics remained "slightly wrong" after KAC-117-X left.

One hallway at Site-43 still causes dropped objects to fall sideways every Tuesday.

No maintenance cause has been identified.

6. Causality Editing

KAC-117-X can alter the relationship between cause and effect.

Observed examples include:

* Making an attack fail despite being successfully performed

* Preventing an injury by changing whether the strike "counted"

* Causing a destroyed object to have never been destroyed

* Producing results without corresponding actions

* Removing consequences while leaving the initiating event intact

* Making a hostile entity lose a battle before combat begins

This ability is distinct from time manipulation. KAC-117-X does not always reverse events. Instead, he appears to alter whether events produce their expected outcomes.

During Incident 4040-F, an anomalous rifle fired directly at KAC-117-X. The bullet emerged from the barrel, stopped midair, became a coin, and landed in his hand.

KAC-117-X then said:

> "Payment accepted."

7. Probability and Impossibility Adjustment

KAC-4040 can make unlikely, impossible, or logically invalid outcomes occur without visible buildup.

Observed examples include:

* A locked door opening into a room that does not exist

* A destroyed object being found intact elsewhere

* An enemy tripping over an object that was not present one second prior

* A containment failure resolving itself by "forgetting" to continue

* A lethal anomaly becoming harmless due to an absurd technicality

* A machine producing tea instead of activating its intended function

This effect should not be mistaken for ordinary probability manipulation.

Probability manipulation changes likelihood.

KAC-4040 appears capable of making outcomes happen even when they have no valid probability of occurring.

8. Conceptual Reassignment

KAC-117-X can alter what a thing "is" at the conceptual level.

Observed examples include:

* Reclassifying a weapon as decoration

* Making a hostile entity count as furniture

* Turning a curse into a joke

* Changing a prison into a waiting room

* Making an attack legally, physically, and metaphysically "not an attack"

* Causing an anomalous threat to lose its own designation

This effect is particularly dangerous against entities whose power depends on identity, title, divine role, mythological function, or narrative classification.

During Incident 4040-B, a skeletal death deity was transformed into a coat rack. The object retained a faint oppressive aura for several seconds before becoming fully mundane.

KAC-117-X's only comment was:

> "Better posture."

9. Narrative and Administrative Interference

KAC-117-X can affect documents, records, classifications, mission reports, and possibly narrative structure.

Observed examples include:

* Recruitment files becoming blank

* Contracts turning into receipts

* Mission reports completing themselves incorrectly

* Personnel records listing him as "guest" instead of "candidate"

* Written explanations stopping before giving a reason

* Attempts to classify him producing contradictory but valid results

* Archives recording meetings that did and did not occur

This effect is most visible during attempts to recruit KAC-117-X as an Omega Agent.

The failure does not appear to be caused by refusal, sabotage, luck, fear, or external resistance.

The administrative chain simply loses the ability to become complete.

There is no reason.

10. Reality Restoration

Despite his destabilizing abilities, KAC-117-X can restore damaged reality with extreme precision.

Observed examples include:

* Repairing collapsed buildings

* Restoring civilians to safe locations

* Undoing spatial distortions

* Reversing environmental contamination

* Removing anomalous corruption from local space

* Stabilizing broken dimensional anchors

* Returning altered areas to their prior state

This restoration is not always perfect. Sometimes reality returns with minor irregularities.

Examples include:

* A repaired clock counting backward once per day

* A restored building having one extra staircase

* A street sign displaying names from three different worlds

* A civilian remembering being rescued before the danger began

* A window reflecting weather from yesterday

KAC-117-X does not appear concerned by these residual effects.

When asked whether such errors were accidental, he replied:

> "Close enough."

---

[BEHAVIOUR]

KAC-117-X is calm, polite, mildly evasive, and socially functional.

He does not display sadism, conquest desire, apocalyptic intent, predatory instincts, or ideological obsession. He is capable of casual conversation and has shown interest in coffee, newspapers, city parks, formal shoes, and old elevators.

He avoids giving direct explanations about his nature, but this avoidance does not appear malicious.

He may simply not possess explanations.

KAC-117-X has assisted KAC personnel during several incidents without being asked. However, he has also ignored other crises entirely.

No consistent moral, strategic, or emotional criteria have been identified.

He has saved civilians.

He has left containment teams to struggle.

He has neutralized dangerous anomalies.

He has allowed harmless anomalies to escape.

He has repaired damage.

He has caused mild inconvenience.

He once turned a Director's chair six inches to the left every morning for thirteen days.

When confronted, he stated:

"It looked better there."

---

[CONTAINMENT]

Containment efforts were suspended after Incident 4040-C, during which a specialized reality-suppression chamber failed to hold him.

The chamber did not break.

KAC-117-X did not escape.

Instead, the chamber became classified as a public restroom in a train station in an unrelated world.

KAC-117-X was found standing outside it, holding a paper towel.

When asked how he exited the chamber, he replied:

 > "I didn't."

Containment protocols have since shifted to non-hostile monitoring.

---

[NEUTRALIZATION]

Not authorized.

Destruction of KAC-4040 has not been attempted due to his current non-hostile behavior and the high probability of uncontrolled collateral consequences.

Theoretical neutralization models have failed to produce stable outcomes.

Known rejected methods include:

Physical elimination

Dimensional exile

Causal severance

Conceptual erasure

Memory removal

Probability collapse

Narrative isolation

Divine arbitration

Omega Agent suppression

Reality anchor saturation

Administrative non-recognition

The last method failed when all documents denying KAC-117-X's existence were stamped with his signature.

[NOTES BY Director Halvorsen]

"We have seen reality warpers before. We have killed some. Recruited some. Contained some. Worshipped some when necessary and lied about it afterward. Mr. X is different because he does not appear to operate through claim, authority, hunger, trauma, godhood, metaphysics, or will. When he changes the world, the world does not look conquered.

It looks corrected by accident.

That is worse."
