PROLOGUE
The battlefield lay in ruins.
Smoke choked the air. Fire painted the horizon red, while the cries of the fallen echoed endlessly through the shattered land.
Amidst the chaos, a lone figure walked forward with a heart hardened by loss. His eyes — empty, yet piercing — scanned the devastation around him.
