Chapter 17 - Asia's Enrollment

The next morning.

At Abel's house.

"Asia, do you want to go to school?"

"Huh?"

Faced with Abel's question, Asia was a little flustered.

Could someone like her really go to school?

Looking at Abel, Asia timidly asked, "Can I really go to school?"

Abel nodded. "Of course you can. Leave everything to me."

"That's great. Thank you, Abel-nii."

Hearing Abel's answer, Asia threw herself into his arms.

Abel dotingly ruffled Asia's hair, then gently patted her back, smiling as he said, "Alright, let go first. I'll go help you with the enrollment procedures right away."

"Mm."

Today was the second school day of the week.

Abel walked with Asia on the school road. The atmosphere among the students on the road was relaxed and cheerful.

"Abel-sama! Good morning."

"Another transfer student today? Is this cosplay?"

"Huh? Is this blonde girl really a nun? She's so cute, I want to hug her."

No matter where, the combination of handsome men and beautiful women always attracted everyone's attention.

Besides, Abel was widely known at school, very famous. For Abel, it was already commonplace.

But for Asia, it was a bit too enthusiastic, a little overwhelming.

Abel looked at the happy Asia and teased, "It seems you are quite popular."

Asia's face turned red, and she shyly lowered her head. "No... not at all."

Soon, Abel brought Asia to the Student Council.

He was the Student Council President, and the entire school belonged to Rias. He had the authority to handle enrollment.

As soon as Abel entered, he saw Sona and Tsubaki working.

"Sona, Tsubaki, good morning."

"Good morning."

Abel felt a little awkward. He was supposedly the Student Council President but he had to use his power reasonably.

Perhaps the work could be handed over to Sona and the others in the future, and he could just be a mascot for the Student Council.

After all, ever since his memories awakened and merged, he had become increasingly fond of slacking off.

Sona looked at Asia beside Abel and asked, "Abel, why did you bring her here?"

Sona's meaning was clear.

Kuoh Town was a stronghold for devils, and Abel, also a devil, had actually brought a hostile nun to the base camp.

Abel explained with a smile, "Don't worry, Asia is no longer with the church."

Then he continued, "And I'm here to help her with the enrollment procedures. I'll trouble you to handle these."

Sona looked at Abel helplessly, then nodded. "No problem, leave it to me."

Since she had Abel's assurance, Sona didn't ask further. After all, she trusted her man.

The next step was just to go through the procedure.

Then Sona said to Tsubaki, "Tsubaki, go get an enrollment form."

"Okay."

Tsubaki responded and quickly went to get the form.

Asia stood nervously to the side, unconsciously clutching the corner of her clothes.

Abel patted her shoulder, gently comforting her, "Don't be nervous, they're all very nice."

Sona looked at Asia and gently said, "From now on, we're classmates. Don't be so reserved."

"Because I trust Abel, I also trust you."

Of course, the second sentence wasn't spoken. Sona only thought it in her heart.

Asia slightly raised her head, revealing a shy smile. "Thank you."

Tsubaki returned with the form and handed it to Asia. "Just fill in the basic information."

"Okay."

Asia filled it out carefully, even writing Abel's name in the 'family' section.

Abel watched from the side, shaking his head with a smile.

Asia truly yearned for a family.

After a while, Asia finished filling out the form.

Sona collected it, then extended her hand to Asia. "Alright, welcome to Kuoh Academy, Asia."

Asia gratefully clasped Sona's hand.

"Then Tsubaki will take you to get your school uniform, and she'll also take you to your classroom later."

"Okay, thank you."

And so, Asia completed her enrollment.

Time slowly passed, and the joyful school hours came to an end.

Inside the Occult Research Club.

Abel leisurely drank the black tea Akeno had brewed for him.

Asia had gone off to play with Miko and Koneko.

Meanwhile, Rias was bathing in the bathroom.

Not long after, Rias came out of the bathroom, wiping her hair with a towel. Rias didn't treat Abel as an outsider, and began to put on her clothes in front of him.

This daily fan service was truly wonderful.

Abel expressed his approval. He had transformed from a pure young man into a blatant pervert.

After a while, the door of the Occult Research Club was pushed open and Yuuto walked in with Issei.

"President, Issei has been brought here."

"Thank you for your hard work, Yuuto."

Rias looked at Issei, a smile on her lips. "Welcome to the Occult Research Club, Issei."

Then Rias began to explain to Issei that he had become a devil and that everything that had happened before was real.

"Excuse me, I'll be right back."

Abel stood up and left the research club.

The system had just prompted him.

[Host, you have a new order from another world. Please process it in time.]

...

In a forest.

A body with its head separated from its torso lay on the ground. There was no bleeding, it just silently dissipated.

Beside it was a young girl with pink-purple eyes, black hair with pink-edged emerald green butterfly hairpins on both sides, and a colorful butterfly-patterned haori draped over her outer garment.

The girl silently put away her weapon, then looked at the dissipating body with pity and said, "I hope you'll be a good person in your next life."

As the girl's words fell, a gentle breeze blew by and the body on the ground slowly dissipated.

On a nearby tree, a black crow flew from a distance and landed on the girl's arm.

The girl's name was Kanae Kocho.

Kanae ruffled her kasugai crow's head, and gently asked, "Is there another mission?"

A gentle voice sounded from the crow's mouth.

"Yes, a demon attack has occurred in a nearby village. Please proceed immediately, Kanae."

Hearing the words, Kanae's eyes became firm and sbe gently nodded. "Understood. We'll set off now."

With that, she moved like a graceful butterfly, flitting through the forest.
