After digesting all the information the system had revealed, Nathan finally stood up from his chair and headed toward the tiny kitchen area.
His brain honestly felt overloaded.
Lost powerful races.
Babel.
Humanoid evolutions.
Infinite class potential.
Sentient system.
The sheer amount of information thrown at him within a single evening was enough to make anyone mentally exhausted.
So for now… Nathan decided to focus on something simpler.
Food.
The small apartment soon filled with the sizzling sound of cooking while Lucy sat nearby with Mirko resting comfortably in her lap.
Or rather… Being aggressively cuddled against her will.
"Awwww… you're sooo fluffy…" Lucy mumbled happily while rubbing her face against the bunny.
Mirko's ears twitched helplessly. 'Master…'
Nathan glanced over while stirring the pan. 'Hm?'
'Your younger sibling is far too affectionate.'
Nathan snorted slightly. 'You'll survive.'
'That is what I fear.'
Nathan almost laughed out loud at that one.
Despite her constant dramatic reactions, Mirko surprisingly got along well with Lucy. The bunny never once showed irritation toward the girl despite being repeatedly squeezed like a stuffed toy.
Eventually, after dinner, Lucy gave Mirko one final tight hug before reluctantly heading toward her bed.
"Goodnight, Brother!" she said sleepily.
"Night," Nathan replied quietly.
"Goodnight, fluffy bunny…"
Mirko proudly puffed out her chest. 'Goodnight, tiny human!'
Lucy was already too sleepy to hear her.
Within minutes, the apartment became quiet.
Only the faint city lights beyond the apartment window illuminated the dark room while the soft sound of Lucy sleeping filled the background.
Nathan remained seated at the table.
Thinking, planning, preparing.
At this point in the timeline, his situation honestly wasn't that bad.
Their deceased parents had apparently left behind enough savings and compensation money to keep both him and Lucy financially stable for several years. They weren't rich by any means, but they weren't desperately struggling either.
Nathan didn't need to immediately start killing himself trying to earn money.
And thankfully… There also wasn't some cliché tragedy hanging over his head.
No terminally ill little sister.
No evil debt collectors.
No hidden curse.
No "you need an ultra-rare SSS-Rank elixir within thirty days or your sister dies" nonsense.
Lucy was healthy, happy, completely normal.
Honestly, compared to most fantasy worlds Nathan had seen in fiction, this world almost felt strangely reasonable.
Well… Aside from the Towers. And the monsters. And the magical apocalypse from two hundred years ago. And the sentient bunny system.
Okay.
Maybe "reasonable" wasn't the correct word.
Still, nothing currently suggested the world was moments away from collapsing.
Even the Bunny Girl System itself, despite the whole censored "******** Lord" situation, didn't feel openly malicious.
Mysterious? Absolutely. Dangerous? Probably. But immediately world-ending? Not really.
Nathan leaned back in his chair before suddenly speaking aloud. "Hey, System."
Silence lingered briefly as Nathan folded his arms. "Give it to me straight."
His expression became serious. "Is the world ending?"
Mirko, who was currently loafing on the couch, slowly looked toward him.
Nathan ignored her. "Is there some hidden grand purpose behind the Bunny Girls?"
He narrowed his eyes slightly. "Is some Fallen God level villain about to descend and destroy humanity while I become the only chosen one capable of stopping him?"
Nathan paused thoughtfully. "…Or her?."
Mirko stared at him. 'Master,' she said slowly, 'you may have consumed too many fantasy stories.'
Nathan chose to ignore that statement too. For several seconds, the system remained silent. Then...
[...]
[Host is overthinking.]
Nathan blinked, the system continued.
[Please calm down and focus on growing stronger.]
[Climb the Towers.]
[Increase your authority.]
[The answers you seek shall naturally reveal themselves in time.]
Another pause followed.
[The Host's current authority level is too low for additional information disclosure.]
Nathan stared blankly at the screen for a few seconds.
Then he let out a tired sigh and leaned backward in his chair.
"Fine," he muttered. "Whatever."
Honestly, that answer was still far better than hearing something like: "Yes. Humanity dies in three years. Good luck."
Nathan rubbed his face tiredly. "One step at a time then."
His expression slowly became more focused. "The Newbie Tutorial Realm Examination…"
That was the immediate goal, Unlike the graduation summoning ceremony, the Tutorial Realm was where true rankings began.
Every graduate across the country would enter a controlled artificial realm filled with low-level monsters supplied by the military and government.
Their performance inside would determine everything:
Guild sponsorships.
Training opportunities.
Future connections.
For weaker summoners, the Tutorial Realm was an opportunity to desperately climb upward.
For prodigies like Elise and Derek… It was merely a stage to show off.
Nathan's fingers lightly tapped against the table.
Then his eyes drifted toward Mirko.
The tiny bunny stared back confidently while munching on a carrot Lucy had apparently given her earlier.
Nathan suddenly smiled faintly. For everyone else, the Tutorial Realm would simply be an exam.
But for him? It would be the first true step toward testing just how broken the Bunny Girls summoning System really was.
He would use it and level up Mirko to her limit threshold and evolve her before he began officially climbing the Babel towers.
