"Oh." Jonathan looked surprised, clearly showing on his face.
"Is that weird?" Zee asked, feeling slightly awkward.
"Not at all. Not even a little. In that case, I'll pick you up at three this afternoon." Jonathan said with a thin smile.
"Eh?" Zee looked confused and startled.
"We're pretending to date, so there's no harm in pretending to go on a date, right?" Jonathan said confidently.
"Um... okay," Zee answered briefly, her surprise still lingering in her tone.
At first, I thought this guy was indifferent and cold, Zee thought, but it turns out he's talkative and attentive too... Zee couldn't help but smile to herself.
Zee grabbed her diet meal box at the gym cafeteria. She quickly left the building and walked toward the parking lot, her gym bag slung over her shoulder.
Her footsteps stopped when a voice called out.
