Chapter 64 - Awkward Breakfast

Everyone gradually woke up and gathered for breakfast. The long, elegant dining table was already set with a full spread, fresh coffee and tea, toast, eggs, bacon, fruits, and a few Underworld delicacies prepared by the house staff.

Silas, still in nothing but his black boxer briefs, walked in first and immediately claimed the head of the table.

He dropped into the large chair like he owned the place(technically did), leaning back comfortably with one arm draped over the backrest.

Grayfia, who was overseeing the table settings, shot him a sharp, icy glare. Silas didn't even acknowledge it. He just reached for a piece of toast and started eating.

Sirzechs sat at the opposite end, maintaining his usual calm and regal demeanor. Rias and Akeno soon joined, both still looking a little sleepy and thoroughly satisfied from the night before. They took seats on either side of Silas.

As Grayfia walked past him to place a plate down, Silas with Sirzechs momentarily distracted, reached out and gave her plump, perfectly shaped ass a firm, possessive squeeze.

Grayfia froze mid-step.

Her entire body tensed, eyes widening for a split second. She quickly glanced toward Sirzechs to check if he had noticed. Thankfully, he was still looking at his coffee. Her face flushed a deep shade of pink as she shot Silas a murderous glare over her shoulder.

Silas just smirked and took another bite of his toast.

Grayfia straightened up and walked away stiffly, taking her seat with perfect poise, though her ears were still burning red.

Sirzechs cleared his throat politely. "I would like to apologize for the unannounced arrival," he said smoothly. "It was quite rude of us."

"Oh, it's nothing, Big Brother," Rias replied lightly, though she was clearly still a bit embarrassed.

Silas swallowed his toast and spoke without looking up.

"It is something," he said flatly. "It's pretty rude to barge into someone's house, then walk straight into their bedroom. Who knew devils had such horrible manners?"

The table went quiet.

Akeno gently grabbed Silas's hand under the table, trying to calm him, though he wasn't actually angry, just genuinely annoyed at the disrespect.

Sirzechs remained calm, though his smile tightened just a fraction.

"I offer my deepest apologies," he said. "What would you like as compensation? I can't have a bad record with my future brother-in-law, now can I?"

Rias blushed hard at the words "brother-in-law." She turned to Silas, waiting. Everyone at the table Grayfia, Akeno, even the quietly observing staff turned their attention to him.

Silas leaned back in the head chair, chewing slowly as he considered the question.

'This is awkward,' he thought.

Silas leaned back in the head chair, chewing his toast slowly as the silence stretched. Then, without any dramatic flair, he spoke.

"A cheeseburger," he said casually.

The entire table stared at him.

Sirzechs blinked once. Grayfia's teacup paused halfway to her lips. Rias and Akeno exchanged confused glances.

"…A cheeseburger?" Sirzechs repeated, as if he hadn't heard correctly.

"Yeah," Silas confirmed, taking another bite of toast like it was the most normal request in the world. "With extra cheese. Maybe some bacon if you've got it."

Everyone at the table looked utterly baffled. Out of everything in existence, he was asking for fast food as compensation?

Silas genuinely didn't care about grand gestures or political favors. Right now, a simple cheeseburger sounded perfect.

' I wanted to say his wife,' he thought, glancing briefly at Grayfia, 'but I prefer doing things behind people's backs. Not saying I want to cuck the guy… but I'm not saying I don't.'

Sirzechs recovered quickly, offering a polite smile.

"Oh… I'll go get one," he said, vanishing in a flash of crimson magic before anyone could react.

The table fell quiet again.

Rias turned to Silas, her voice soft. "Are you calm now?"

Silas didn't reply right away. He finished the last bite of his toast, wiped his hands, and stood up.

"Get ready for me tonight," he said simply, looking straight at her.

Rias's cheeks flushed instantly. She sat there, already imagining all the possibilities, her thighs pressing together under the table.

Akeno stood up gracefully and followed Silas as he left the dining room, heading upstairs without another word.

Grayfia remained seated. Her tea had gone cold. Her bread sat untouched. She stared at the empty doorway, fingers gripping her teacup a little too tightly as conflicting emotions swirled inside her.

A few seconds later, Sirzechs reappeared with a perfectly wrapped cheeseburger in his hand, looking slightly confused when he realized Silas was gone.

He frowned and sat back down, placing the burger on the table.

"Your boyfriend really has an attitude problem, little sister," he said, turning to Rias. "Are you sure you like him?"

Rias frowned, crossing her arms. "Of course I do. And he's not normally this mad. I don't blame him though. If someone entered my room uninvited while I was naked in bed, I'd be angry too."

She stood up, gave a small nod to everyone, and left the room.

That left Sirzechs and Grayfia alone at the table.

Sirzechs stared at the untouched cheeseburger, still trying to process everything. Grayfia sat perfectly still, her mind replaying the image of Silas walking away half-naked… and the way her body had reacted when he squeezed her ass earlier.

One was baffled by his sister's sudden attitude shift. The other was quietly struggling with lust for a man who wasn't her husband. The morning had only just begun, but the tension in the manor was already thick enough to cut with a knife.

.....

Silas got dressed after breakfast. Downstairs, Sirzechs had finally explained the real reason for his sudden visit.

"All three factions will be holding a peace conference here in Kuoh," he said calmly, sipping his coffee. "And for security and political reasons, it will be hosted at Kuoh Academy."

Rias looked surprised. Akeno raised an eyebrow. Silas, however, barely reacted. He just grabbed another piece of toast and took a bite.

'Conference? Sounds boring,' he thought. 'I just want to go to the beach.'

He didn't voice it out loud. He simply finished eating, grabbed his bag, and headed out with the girls toward school.

Kuoh Academy

The moment they arrived on campus, Sona was already waiting for them near the entrance, arms crossed and looking every bit the strict Student Council President.

She didn't waste time with pleasantries.

"Rias," she said, pushing up her glasses, "your peerage has been assigned cleaning duty for the old swimming pool today. It needs to be spotless before the sports festival preparations begin."

Rias sighed but didn't argue. "Understood."

Issei groaned loudly. "Cleaning duty? Again?!"

Koneko just nodded quietly. Asia looked a little nervous but determined. Kiba offered a polite smile, though he still seemed distracted from yesterday's events.

Silas, however, wasn't part of the assignment.

He grinned.

'Well, not entirely a beach episode,' he thought, already imagining the girls in swimsuits, 'but it's close enough.'

Sona glanced at him briefly, her expression softening just a fraction before she looked away.

"You're free to do whatever you want," she told him. "Just… don't cause too much trouble."

Silas smirked.

"No promises."

As Rias's peerage headed off toward the pool area, Silas lingered behind for a moment. He watched them go, then turned and started walking in the same direction anyway. He wasn't about to miss this
