Soham was back in his room as he texted, "I'm really sorry for keeping you waiting." He then sends an emoji of blinking eyes which means he is teasing Shahmeer. He then further texted, "What are your hobbies? other than flirting with strangers." As he bit his lip and sent a picture of him wearing an apron. "This is my hobby."
He then exited the app and directly video called Michelle. After talking with her for an hour and telling her how much he is enjoying the chat with that stranger. He hung up the call and headed out to see what was going on in the city.
Shahmeer was super busy for the whole morning that he didn't get to touch his cellphone. The thought of Soham crossed his mind once in a while but being a workaholic he is, he let the thought slip away.
In the afternoon he opened the app and the first thing he noticed was Soham's text he immediately opened it and was blown away by the picture he sent. For the first time in his life, he felt jealousy, lust and attraction at the same time.
He was jealous because he wanted his hands to be around other than that apron. Lusty because he imagined him wearing only that apron and attraction because the way he was smiling makes Shahmeer feel that Soham is smiling for him only.
Without realising he first saved that picture and then kept that picture as his wallpaper. Then he texted back, "I love hiking, outing and reading." He was expecting himself to be on the waiting list again.
But to his surprise, Soham texted back, "What's your favourite book?" Shahmeer immediately replied, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Kind of like books entrepreneurs read."
There was a laughing emoji with a reply, "I didn't expect you to be this serious. My favourite would be the In Death Series, It has crime, mystery, passion, adventure and love."
And once again Rehan was shocked seeing his rude boss smiling while replying to someone. His brain instantly processed that someone has caught his interest which is a good thing.
Soham was in the mall shopping for snacks where he was replying Shahmeer and picking eateries for himself. And accidentally, he touched the video call button making the chat convert into a video call. As soon as he realized he has clicked video call button he immediately decide to press the red button but the person from the other side has already picked the call.
"Hi, I actually liked your boldness. Instead of texting you have gone straight for video call" said Shahmeer. Soham chuckled as he replied, "Believe me it was an accident." Shahmeer took a moment in capturing the beauty of God on the screen.
Soham laughed as he said, "Hey, where did you ran off too I'm here only." Shahmeer chuckled as he replied, "Did anyone tell you that you are beautiful enough to take someone's breath away."
Soham gave a thoughtful look and replied, "Oh, I have heard that before mostly from my ex-boyfriend." Shahmeer felt a pang of jealousy when he heard ex boyfriend. But his mind processed too that ex boyfriend meant he is single for now.
"You know you look handsome kind of guy which we see in series or dramas" said Soham while shopping. Shahmeer laughed as replied, "This is the first time someone said this to me. Where are you? Clearly not at home."
Soham turn the back camera and showed Shahmeer where he was. Shahmeer knew the place it is the Radiance Mall in his city which means Soham stays in his city.
"I... umm.. was getting bored and decided to head mall and then I saw snacks so you know that I have to buy them" Said Soham.
Shahmeer immediately replied, "You know what, you shop cutiepie I'll be there in fifteen minutes to pick you up and then you can help me in shopping some of stuffs and then we can have dinner together."
Soham was surprised for a moment as he replied, "Are you asking me on a date?" Shahmeer nodded his head as he answered, "Yes cutiepie I'm asking you on a date and believe me there are going to be many dates because you have captured all my attention. Be there in fifteen minutes."
With that Shahmeer hung up the call and called for Rehan. Rehan entered the door in a swift move as if he was waiting for Shahmeer to call him.
"Book a table for two in Avenue Lawns for 8 pm and do tell them I want privacy" instructed Shahmeer as he stood up from his chair.
"Oh and cancel all my meetings for the day if any meeting is of urgency and necessary you attend in my place and make sure I don't get disturb. I wanna win him just like he has swept me away."
And with that he left the office took his car and drove to the Mall. "Shahmeer why are you nervous, you have gone on dates multiple times so what is it about this one that makes you nervous" he murmured to himself.
At signal as he stopped his car he took his cellphone looked at the wallpaper and replied, "Because those were just flings or fun nobody has ever been your wallpaper. Soham has definitely done something to you." And with that he drove straight to the mall.
Soham stood there for like a minute or two as his mind is processing what has happened. But then again Michelle's advice rang up in his ears and he smiled.
He is about to experience something new, and he is ready for it. Calmly he started picking the bags of chips and then headed to the counter for billing.
As his items were getting billed he texted his parents that he won't make it for dinner as he has plans with someone. After billing he held the bags and walked out from the mall, waiting for Shahmeer.
