I was standing in the courtyard past the Castle gates, seeing how many armored individuals were mobilizing past me, some were shouting orders. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that someone was escorting the tall guy from the ruins; the one called Lyon. He was the one who turned into a massive Werelion and was able to throw down with Zarias.
I noticed that he had chains on his hands and legs, which had me a bit confused, "Hm....." I said, "What the hell...."
"What is it?" Oneth asked as she slithered up to me
"Lyon, that Werelion guy." I said, "Why is he in chains?""
"He turned himself in." Oneth said, "Apparently, he is a criminal. Rok'gul knows more about it. He is also a member of the Blackmane Clan, which makes a bit more sense in how he was able to fight with Zarias equally."
"He helped us out." I said, "He should not be a prisoner."
"I would agree, but he was the one who personally turned himself in." She said, "That reminds me. You wanted to visit that human woman, Elena, didn't you? You said something about completing a Task with her."
I nodded, "I need to have sex with her two more times and I get a new weapon." I said, "And I tried to tell you lot, but you ignored me. I don't have to be in the Castle."

"I do." I said, "So far, these rewards are worth it. I think with the Evading Reload, combined with my Gunslinger's Mark, it would allow me to be more useful during battle. That is considering if I have enough fights to prove that."
"With time, that is the case." She said, "But the goal right now is for you to have a proper arsenal with a bit of fighting experience to get in the true fray."
I looked at her, "What more experience do I need?" I asked, "I fought a Dusk Elf Vampire, whom you state is a legitimate monster. If it weren't for that Tall Woman, we had a tough battle ahead of us."
"That may be true." She said, "But Zarias was something else. He was indeed the most powerful foe I have encountered, but there are other enemies that can be trickier to fight than him. He wasn't using his Necromancy to the fullest extent, he was basically brawling. If he did go all out, it would've been a different story."
"Hm...." I said, "Well, I don't disagree with you, Oneth. I do need to be a bit more prepared if I am going to head into this war."
"Worry not." Oneth said, "The top priority is for your body to be resilient enough to handle the big fights."
I nodded, "Hm...."
Then, the System changed screens in the corner of my eye.

In the Throne Room, Queen Asothia sat on her throne, her legs crossed as she leaned on her hand. She was wearing her usual black dress, her nice and meaty thighs were visible and alluring.
Before her, Desiree was kneeling down on one knee, her head hanging low. Behind Desiree, Vaezhrya stood tall, her hands behind her back as she had a serious look on her face.
"Your Majesty, that is the end of my report," Desiree said, "The Skull of Brightdawn has been retrieved and placed in the vault. We are to search for the Eyes, to prevent Duskrend from obtaining them."
Asothia nodded slowly, "To think that they would be so arrogant to breach my Kingdom so deep inside." She said, "How amusing. Is the Dusk King that ballsy these days? And Zarias, The Scourge, was he really here?"
Desiree nodded, "Yes." She said, "If I had not interfere, Samuel Grey would have died."
"Hm, thank you for that." Asothia gave her a slight smile, "You did well."
"Thank you." She said
"It is a shame that Chief Vakmu is dead." Asothia said, "But he did well in alerting us. He died for his home. For that, he will be honored."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Desiree said softly
"As for Samuel." Asothia said, "How was the verdict? I did not think that Streinde would send Little Vaezhrya to the fray. She did the right thing, though. If it weren't for the Black Sky Dragon, Zarias would've probably slaughtered my Promised Warrior."
Desiree stood up and nodded, "Yes. My wife's foresight is unrivaled." She said, "That is why she is your most trusted Commander."
"The Midnight Legion is naught but my greatest military force." Asothia said, "And Little Vaezhrya is the best of the best. Are you not, my dear?"
Vaezhrya stepped forwards and kneeled down, "Yes, Your Majesty." She said softly, hanging her head low, "I merely live to serve My Queen and my Kingdom. I protect the people as best as I can."
"Of course." Asothia said, "Your thoughts on Samuel Grey?"
"He is Human, so he is fragile." Vaezhrya said, "But there is a determination in his eyes. Conviction. Willpower. A fire that could burn so hot and bright."
"That is why Oneth immediately switched her personality with him." Asothia chuckled, "Samuel is different, you know. He is the embodiment of being Human, you will see. Vaezhrya, you have saved him from certain death. What is the reward you desire? You have done this Kingdom's future a great deed. Speak your mind, I shall grant it to you."
Vaezhrya looked up at her, "If you will, Your Majesty." She said, "I wish to have a taste of Samuel Grey."
