"Are you certain she'll hand the fake plans over?" Eva asked.
"Not at all. Depends on where her priorities lie. Assuming she figures out they're fake, if all she cares about is her own standing, she'll hand them over. If she cares about the sect, she'll withhold them."
"I feel like betting on the idea that she doesn't care about the people she's guarding is foolish."
"Guard is just one of her occupations. She's also a thief, and thieves aren't known for sentiment."
"I suppose you're right." Eva shrugged.
"The part I actually want to know," Katarina said, "is whether they know about you."
Eva tilted her head.
"Would it matter?"
