"Do I need to promise you anything?"
Yun Chen's voice carried open contempt.
"Have you ever seen a strong man give promises to the weak?"
Boom!
The ground collapsed violently.
A massive crater formed instantly, as if a meteor had smashed directly into the earth.
Yun Chen's movements were smooth and brutal.
He locked the Ancient One's throat, lifted her effortlessly, and slammed her straight into the ground.
The entire action happened in one seamless motion.
Puff!
Blood burst from the Ancient One's mouth.
Her body curled within the crater like a boiled shrimp, trembling under the overwhelming force.
"Magicians really are fragile," Yun Chen said coldly. "Your body simply can't withstand my punches."
His eyes were filled with disdain.
"The only reason you're still alive is because of the power of that dark god."
A faint suction sound followed.
Within seconds, the Ancient One's severely injured body had completely recovered.
She slowly rose from the crater.
A black rune flickered faintly between her brows.
However, her face was noticeably paler than before.
The human body simply could not endure the strike Yun Chen had just delivered.
Even longevity itself would not be enough to sustain such damage.
The only reason she could continue living was because she had drawn upon the power of the dark entity Dormammu.
That forbidden energy had prevented her body from collapsing long ago.
"The scent of darkness," Carol said coldly.
Her sensitivity to cosmic energy made the corruption obvious to her.
She looked at the Ancient One with undisguised contempt.
"You're supposed to be Earth's guardian," Carol said. "Yet you're using that kind of power?"
For most people, that secret was unknown.
For centuries, the Ancient One had protected Earth.
Without the dark energy sustaining her life, she would have died long ago.
Without that power, she could never have stood against Dormammu's influence.
In a twisted way, the same evil that threatened Earth had also allowed her to defend it.
She had her pride.
She felt no shame.
So the Ancient One said nothing.
She ignored Carol's mockery completely.
A proud sorcerer would never willingly accept humiliation.
She needed to reclaim control of the battle.
"Magic is not as weak as you think," she said firmly.
The gentle expression on her face hardened slightly.
Hum!
With a single wave of her hand, the world around them shifted.
Reality seemed to split open like a mirror shattering across the sky.
Mirror Dimension.
Yun Chen recognized the technique instantly.
"Now it's just the two of us," the Ancient One said calmly. "The scenery may appear the same, but we are now inside a magical barrier."
She gestured around them.
"Our battle will not affect the real world."
The fields remained.
The forest path remained.
Everything looked identical to the moment before.
But Yun Chen knew the truth.
This was an entirely separate space.
Inside this magical barrier, any destruction would remain contained.
This was the Ancient One's domain.
Yun Chen glanced around the distorted horizon and chuckled.
"So this world exists purely because of your magic."
He raised an eyebrow.
"Which means there's only one real question."
He slowly lifted his right hand.
"How much force can your Mirror Dimension withstand?"
Hum!
His hand closed.
Then he pulled downward violently.
The Ancient One's expression changed immediately.
She suddenly felt a massive force descending from the sky.
"What… is that?" she asked in shock.
Yun Chen smiled.
"Just a small gift."
Hum!
The power of the Power Stone activated once more.
In Yun Chen's hands, gravitational force condensed into an invisible thread.
The other end of that thread stretched far beyond the sky.
Beyond the atmosphere.
Wrapped around an orbiting satellite.
The Ancient One's face turned completely pale as she realized what was happening.
A blazing streak of fire tore through the sky.
At first it looked like a meteor.
But she knew exactly what it was.
A satellite.
"Damn it…"
"You lunatic!"
Boom!
A United States satellite orbiting in low Earth orbit was dragged violently downward by Yun Chen's overwhelming gravitational control.
The blazing object tore through the sky.
Then it crashed.
Boom!
The impact was catastrophic.
The Mirror Dimension shattered instantly.
Cracks tore across the barrier like broken glass.
The magical world collapsed.
Bang!
The entire enchantment shattered as the shockwave spilled violently into reality.
Dust and debris exploded into the air.
Amid the storm of sand, the shattered remains of the satellite lay embedded within the enormous crater.
The Ancient One staggered backward repeatedly.
Green light from the Time Stone enveloped her body as she struggled to protect herself.
Puff!
She spat out another mouthful of blood.
"This is… completely unreasonable," she said hoarsely.
She had seen many powerful opponents.
She could imagine someone delivering devastating punches.
But she had never imagined someone would respond by pulling a satellite out of orbit.
Even Carol stared in disbelief.
A satellite had just fallen from the sky.
Even she had not expected Yun Chen to escalate the battle so violently.
Of course, Carol had already sensed the magical barrier surrounding them earlier.
She understood that Yun Chen had simply broken the trap in the most direct way possible.
Brutal.
Simple.
Effective.
"Your Majesty…" Foola whispered.
Her icy expression now carried unmistakable excitement.
Her admiration for Yun Chen had reached an entirely new level.
Through the drifting smoke, Yun Chen walked forward slowly.
He stopped in front of the Ancient One.
"If you're still unwilling to accept defeat," he said calmly, "we can continue."
His eyes flicked briefly toward the glowing stone around her neck.
"We can even let the Infinity Stones collide."
The Ancient One coughed again.
Though the dark energy continued sustaining her body, her aura had weakened significantly.
She still possessed the Time Stone.
But she also understood the consequences of pushing the battle further.
Infinity Stones contained boundless cosmic power.
If two of them clashed at full strength, the surrounding world might not survive.
She looked at Yun Chen silently.
After a long moment, she sighed.
"I lost."
Her voice was calm.
"I will no longer interfere with your actions."
She bowed her head slightly.
"And I apologize for my recklessness."
However, she added one final sentence.
"I only hope you will not interfere excessively with Earth. Allowing nature to follow its course is the wisest path."
Carol stepped forward proudly.
"My man isn't an invader," she said firmly.
Then she looked directly at the Ancient One.
"But you—someone drawing power from dark energy—look far more like a threat."
A trace of loneliness appeared on the Ancient One's face.
The truth of Dormammu's power was something she could never fully explain to outsiders.
Still, she spoke one last time.
"My apologies."
She pulled her hood back over her head.
The white-robed figure faded into the air.
Moments later, the Sorcerer Supreme had vanished completely.
