Chapter 174 - 174: Element Distribution Plan

The 363 Star Lord Fruits were mass-produced, so their overall strength was naturally inferior to the Ten Demon God Fruits and the Twelve Ancestral Fruits that Ash had carefully designed earlier.

When creating them, Ash drew inspiration from Sengoku's Human-Human Fruit, Model: Daibutsu. He preserved the Mythical Zoan concept while assigning each fruit the identity of a Star Lord.

For example, the Ziwei Star was defined as the Zoan Type, Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Ziwei Star Lord Form.

Ash removed the Divine Beast Forms from these Star Lords. Although the Demon God Transformation ability remained, its effect resembled Sengoku's Daibutsu form, greatly increasing the user's size along with their offensive and defensive capabilities.

The Half-Beast and Full Transformations were unified into two standard states, the Star Lord Form and the Star Giant Form. Depending on the user's mastery, these transformations could range from one hundred to five hundred meters in height.

Even so, their overall strength was still noticeably lower than the earlier, individually crafted fruits. That difference was intentional, since a clear hierarchy had to exist.

By eliminating the need to design unique Divine Beast forms, Ash significantly reduced the time required to create each fruit.

At the same time, while preserving the physical enhancement typical of Mythical Zoans, he incorporated an additional feature, elemental ability control.

A Mythical Zoan without a special ability would feel incomplete. Sengoku's Daibutsu form could release shockwaves, so it made sense for these fruits to possess their own unique traits.

Each mass-produced Star Lord Fruit granted control over a single elemental ability.

Taking the Ziwei Star again as an example, its structure was as follows:

Name: Zoan Type, Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Ziwei Star Lord Form

Background: A Star Lord appointed by the Heavenly Emperor, wielding the power of the Ziwei Star

Abilities: Enhanced physique, flight, two-stage transformation into Star Lord Form or Star Giant Form, and control over Earth Element power

Compared to the Ten Demon God Fruits and Twelve Ancestral Fruits, these clearly appeared more standardized. However, even as mass-produced creations, they were still comparable to the strongest Mythical Zoans known in the pirate world.

The next challenge was distributing elemental abilities among the 363 fruits.

The system of the Three Enclosures and Four Symbols naturally aligned with Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. While Ash remembered the general framework, he could not recall the exact classification for every star.

Fortunately, there was a practical workaround.

The twenty-eight mansions of the Four Symbols already corresponded to elements such as Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, along with Sun and Moon distinctions. That made it possible to assign elemental abilities based on their mansion affiliations.

The finer distinctions of Yin and Yang within each element were ignored, since only the primary attribute was needed.

Using this method, Ash classified all 223 stars of the Four Symbols according to their elemental alignment.

The final count came out uneven, with Wood-type stars exceeding the others.

That imbalance forced Ash to adjust the distribution.

After isolating the excess Wood-type stars, he divided the remaining stars evenly among Metal, Water, Fire, and Earth, using the Yin-Yang attributed stars to fill any gaps.

Once the Four Symbols were sorted, only the 140 main stars of the Three Enclosures remained.

Unlike the twenty-eight mansions, their elemental alignment was not clearly defined. Aside from a few well-known cases like the Ziwei Star belonging to Earth, Ash had little reliable reference.

At that point, he stopped overthinking it.

Assigning elemental attributes to the remaining stars became a matter of balancing the numbers rather than strict accuracy.

Among all elemental abilities, Water provided the greatest amplification. Because of that, Ash deliberately limited the number of Water-type fruits.

In the end, the distribution settled at seventy-three fruits each for Metal, Wood, Fire, and Earth, while Water was restricted to thirty-one.

After completing the entire system, Ash let out a long breath.

Once all 363 fruits were distributed, the cumulative amplification of his Five Element control alone would exceed forty times that of ordinary users.

With the system finalized, Ash stored the remaining fruits in a temporary storage ring and handed them over to the village chief for safekeeping.

How Sali and Wyper would distribute the sixty-seven selected fruits was no longer his concern.

Joining the Dawn ship required Ash's approval, so the new candidates could not board directly.

On Sali's side, members like Dicken and the Daly brothers had already been exposed to the outside world, making them unsuitable.

Fales and Vergo were even more unfortunate. Although they had trained diligently, their appearances near Twin Capes had been reported in the World Economic Journal, identifying them as members of the White Lion Pirates.

That single report ruined their chances.

At that moment, Fales and Vergo finally understood why everyone wanted to capture Big News Morgans and beat him senseless.

Their opportunity had disappeared just like that.

The same situation applied to Wyper's group.

In the end, only Conis and McKinley qualified to join the Dawn ship.

They had gained their abilities during the events in Wano Country, returned to Skypiea afterward, and never revealed themselves to the outside world. Their status as unknown faces made them suitable candidates.

As for Rina, the user of the Netherworld Fruit, she had already been assigned to the Thunder Dragon Gaya and had appeared publicly multiple times over the past six months.
