He stared at me for a moment before his eyes lingered on the potion in my hands, "This here will bring her back to full health with no problems at all and will be no longer on the edge of life and death." I said to him before tossing the potion to him.
He easily caught it before looking at it as I visualized his strength, Meruem would roughly be a level 85 in strength alone which put him at around Cocytus but his speed from what it's known is Hypersonic, which makes it very hard to actually make verbal incantations against him in a fight.
However that's not the point as I want to see what I am in comparison for strength alone without fighting my friends or the other Floor Guardians as they can't go all out against Ainz and the rest of us with that one time in the original timeline between him and Shalltear.
However as I was a Ranger Class I had some strength but nowhere on the level of Cocytus that Meruem was at and as for speed I was now myself at hypersonic speeds, or at least reaction speeds as I haven't tried going all out with my movements alone.
He didn't trust it and thus he soon stabbed himself in the arm with his tail causing purple blood to flow, afterwards he poured some of the potion onto his open wound.
Soon enough his wound began to heal at a visible rate before the wound was entirely gone, but I just smiled at seeing that.
Seeing it worked he looked back at me before looking at the unconscious and nearly dying Komugi and gently opening her mouth to make her drink the potion.
Soon enough the potion began to do its work and Komugi was soon healed of all of her wounds while my shadow moves as he's distracted and taking away Pouf's dead body.
But he didn't care, hurting Komugi, even if not intentionally was a death sentence in his eyes at that.
Though with his Nen ability Shirapouf's powers could have been Incorporated into himself through his {Aura Synthesis} and thus getting stronger but the thought of his (Opponet) dying before he could defeat her was more important in his eyes to settle first.
Soon enough her wounds had all but healed as she lay there simply just asleep on the floor before he stood up and turned towards me.
"What is it exactly do you want?" He asked me as I just grinned.
"To see how strong you really are, but let's go to some place more open." I say as I sink into the shadows once more.
Seeing this, Meruem walks slowly before dropping down into the palace entrance where he sees where Youpi and Neferpitou were defeated, however their bodies were missing.
*THOOM*
Suddenly a massive wave of energy passed over him from the inside, shattering the glass windows in the process.
Feeling the immense amount of power Meruem couldn't help but give a wide smile at that before he abruptly vanished before appearing in the main courtyard of the palace grounds.
"Good, now then, shall we begin?" I say as I return to my true form before him as the malevolent waves of energy flow off me for miles around.
Even well off in the distance as the Chimera Ant Extermination party was still preparing for the conflict to come all could feel the malice filling the air making them all instinctively look towards the source.
"…. Well now, things have just gotten even more interesting it seems, Ohohoho…." An elderly man wearing sport clothes said as he could physically feel the intense malice even from miles away.
Meanwhile back where I was the battle had begun with Meruem launching himself straight at me using his speed to his advantage.
He was much faster than Neferpitou, however my dynamic vision was able to keep track with the Ant King allowing me to dodge his attacks before countering with my own.
However his endurance was immense with my claws that could tend through steel was only leaving minor scratches that would heal quickly within moments.
Now mind you I'm not a warrior and had my stats more focused in agility and dexterity, but since I was a Ranger I did have some points put into strength when making my character.
Not to mention non magic skills like [Beast Claws] and [Life Drain] from my racial traits that are giving me the edge in close combat and not leaving me like a sitting duck.
From and outsiders perspective it looked like our arms were moving like a blur as we attacked and counter attacked one another, sometimes he began throwing in kicks to which I deflected as well.
While we were fighting the smile didn't leave both of our faces as we seemed to be enjoying this fight before we pushed each other back with our attacks.
I cracked my knuckles before four more arms came out from my back made from shadows and flesh while blood dripped from my body.
Soon balls of blood formed within my new hands as I began to use [Hemomancy] in this fight outside of just pure raw power that only Meruem had.
Soon enough he went back on the offensive as an attack came for me before the blood I had gathered became a shield deflecting his attack before my claws came up against him once more still only leaving small cuts.
However on my claws this time my blood seeped inside of his own mixing together but that was enough of an opening.
I raised a hand as my shadows began to morph around me as a two headed dog like being made of blood, teeth, eyes and shadow began to form, "[Orthrus]! Hunt!"
[Orthrus] widened it jaws and began its attack, but it was noticeable slower than I was leading to Meruem easily grabbing at its jaws and tearing it in half.
However as [Orthrus] was a summon made from my true form just like my inspirations [Baskervill] was made it was immortal just like I was so when it was ripped in half the body would just reform and keep attacking.
And feeling how strong [Orthrus] was Meruem couldn't just ignore its attacks and regeneration that was near instantaneous giving him a hard time trying to approach me.
'Since I don't have that move like Ainz does I have to use my blood as a substitute especially with a strong opponent like him, but since I have learned that chants still strengthen the overall power of spells this should work as well.' I think to myself as I keep [Orthrus] attacking him before a [Blood Cocoon] surrounds me in the form of my highest defense.
He try's to stop this by ignoring [Orthrus] But the two headed dog was able to clamp down on his tail long enough to stall him all while the [Blood Cocoon] finishes covering my body entirely as the ultimate Defense that a Origin Vampire can unleash.
Unlike Ainz [Grasp Heart] the spell [Heart Breaker] comes from a different world entirely, one that seemed to be one of those worlds that have no origin in the modern day of the past, perhaps it would be a story made in the far future or maybe it would never be written at all who can say.
[Heart Breaker] is a ruthless assassination spell that transforms the victim's own circulatory system into a death trap.
It operates on the principle of 'Sanguine/Blood Synchronization.'
By introducing their own blood into the bloodstream of a target, the caster establishes a metaphysical tether—a bridge of flesh and spirit.
Once the caster's blood has successfully navigated the opponent's veins and reached the cardiac chamber, the tether is complete.
Upon the completion of the incantation, the caster exerts a sudden, violent gravitational collapse upon the mixed blood within the heart.
The result is not a mere cardiac arrest, but a literal, physical crushing of the heart muscle from the inside out, as the blood crystallizes into a jagged, crushing singularity for a brief, agonizing window.
And once the Users Blood is inside of the enemy's it is already to late as no matter the distance the link has been established and I could be on the other side of the planet and the spell could be activated.
I have no clue if I could return to my shop and then attack from outside the universe however so it was best to use it here as I had gotten a grasp at my own personal strength as of now thus it was time I just finished this.
*Budump! Budump! Budump!*
The rythmic sound of a heart beat could be heard from within my cocoon to which Meruem himself suddenly felt his heart beat match with mine as well.
And ominous feeling welled up within him forcing him to disregard [Orthrus] and go all out attacking me and my [Blood Cocoon]
However it was to late as my cocoon was empowered by my own divinity making it impossible for him to even shatter at that as I began to chant the spell.
"Bound by the vein, sealed by the flow, My essence enters, the seeds of death sow."
His heart and my heart beats began to beat faster as a result which caused him to attack faster and harder by the second.
"Crimson bridge, tether of pain, I claim the pulse, I seize the rein."
Soon enough he sees a glow at the center of his chest making him look down as his eyes widen while a black ethereal hand enters his chest and grabs at his heart.
"SANGUIS NEXUS... COR FRANGERE!"
With that the hand soon crush's the heart within his chest forcibly making him expel purple blood from his mouth as he grasped at his chest.
Soon enough he slowly fell to his knees before collapsing onto the ground as his heart was completely shattered by [Heart Breaker] leaving him completely dead with no life left in him whatsoever.
Feeling that all of his vitality drain from his body his blood soon begins to drain and flow towards the blood cocoon all while I pull myself out of it all while his body is consumed by my own.
I take a deep breath and exhale as I feel the amount of power his body gave me and not only that but I also consumed his strength and Gene factor at that.
"Oh? His [Aura Synthesis] has become my own as well? Guess consuming the blood of my enemies will make me stronger and stronger just like a certain Vampire who like to take Moonlit strolls at night." I say to myself.
As before consuming the flesh and blood of my enemies was like Alucards ability to get another life from his devoured bodies and souls, but now I can get exponentially stronger the more blood I consume, especially when the blood and flesh come from stronger beings.
But seeing as I was done here and had nothing else to do I soon opened up the door to the shop once more.
I had made some surprising personal gains on this trip to the HunterXHunter World after all.
