'I give up,' Su Chen complained to himself. 'Did these guys all plan this together or something? Why is it so hard to get some rest at the end of the year?'
Though he was grumbling, he still answered the call.
"Hello~" he said, his voice lazy as he lay on the sofa.
"Heard you're back in Shanghai? Why didn't you say anything? We have to at least throw you a proper welcome!" Sicong said, his tone teasing.
"What's there to say? Everyone's been calling me for work reports. I just got home and my seat's not even warm yet, and now you're calling."
