The morning classes passed in a blur.
Kiara sat by the window with her chin resting on her hand, but her attention never stayed on the blackboard for more than a few seconds. Every time she tried to focus, scenes from last night would uncontrollably surface in her mind.
Alex's breathing.
His hands.
The way he looked at her afterward.
Her ears burned red again.
"Kiara."
A voice suddenly called from the podium.
She jerked upright and saw the teacher staring at her helplessly.
"Would you like to answer the question?"
The entire classroom turned to look at her. Kiara froze for two seconds before standing up stiffly.
"…Sorry, teacher. I don't know."
The classroom immediately burst into quiet laughter.
The teacher sighed. "You've been distracted all morning. Sit down and pay attention."
Kiara sat back down with a flushed face, wanting nothing more than to bury herself underground.
At the side, her deskmate secretly leaned closer and whispered, "What happened to you? You look like you didn't sleep all night."
Kiara's eyelashes trembled.
She really hadn't slept much.
Every time she closed her eyes, she remembered how she had clung tightly to Alex's shoulders in the darkness, trembling uncontrollably while calling his name.
Just thinking about it made her legs feel weak again.
At that moment, someone lightly knocked on the classroom window from outside.
Kiara subconsciously turned her head.
Alex was standing in the corridor.
The sunlight from outside fell across his shoulders, making his already handsome appearance even more eye-catching. Several girls nearby secretly glanced at him, whispering excitedly.
He looked directly at Kiara and gestured toward the back staircase.
Kiara's heartbeat instantly sped up.
A few seconds later, she quietly stood up under everyone's curious gazes and walked out of the classroom.
As soon as she reached the staircase corner where nobody was around, Alex looked at her carefully and asked softly:
"Are you uncomfortable?"
Kiara immediately understood what he meant.
Her face exploded red.
"N-No…"
Alex scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Sorry… I got a little carried away yesterday."
Kiara lowered her head and nervously twisted her fingers together.
Actually, she didn't blame him at all.
Because in the end, she had been the one unwilling to let go.
The atmosphere suddenly became quiet.
Neither of them had much experience with this kind of relationship. After crossing that final line, they both felt an unfamiliar nervousness.
After hesitating for a while, Alex suddenly reached out and gently held her hand.
Kiara trembled slightly but didn't resist.
Instead, she quietly tightened her fingers around his.
Feeling the soft warmth in his palm, Alex finally relaxed and smiled.
"Then… we're officially together now?"
Kiara bit her lip.
After a moment, she softly replied:
"…Mm."
The simple response instantly made Alex's chest heat up.
He had imagined this scene before countless times back when they were children, but he never expected it would truly happen one day.
Looking at the shy girl in front of him, he suddenly felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
Kiara, however, became increasingly embarrassed under his gaze.
Especially after recalling everything they had done last night.
Her heartbeat became chaotic again.
To hide her panic, she hurriedly changed the subject.
"R-Right, you should go back soon. Class is about to start."
Alex nodded, but before leaving, he suddenly leaned closer and whispered beside her ear:
"Tonight… should I come over again?"
Boom.
Kiara's entire face instantly turned scarlet.
She raised her head in disbelief and stared at him, clearly not expecting him to say something like that at school.
Seeing her reaction, Alex immediately laughed.
"I'm joking."
Kiara puffed her cheeks slightly in embarrassment and glared at him, but her gaze lacked any intimidation at all. Instead, she looked soft and adorable.
Alex's heart itched.
He suddenly felt that dating Kiara seemed far more wonderful than he had imagined.
Unfortunately, before he could say anything else, the class bell rang.
The two looked at each other, then hurriedly separated and returned to their classrooms.
However, not long after Kiara returned to her seat, she discovered her phone vibrating repeatedly inside her desk drawer.
Opening it secretly, she found several new messages.
From Alex.
[Did your waist still hurt this morning?]
Kiara nearly dropped her phone in shock.
Her face turned red all the way to her neck.
She hurriedly typed back.
[Don't talk nonsense during class!]
A few seconds later, another message arrived.
[Then does it hurt or not?]
Kiara stared at the screen blankly for two seconds before burying her burning face into her arms on the desk.
At the same time, the corners of her lips quietly curved upward.
