Jay POV:
I'm so nervous and excited because I'm 9 months pregnant, and we are going to the Philippines.
"I wanna meet my tita and kuya... What if something happens to me while giving birth?" I said. Keifer shot me a glare.
"Why are you even saying things like that?" he said. I looked down.
He gently held my hands.
"I'm here with you... I will not let anything happen to you. I'm with you," he said. I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Jay, here, your medicine," Freya said and handed me my medicine.
"Jay, Keifer... according to the report, we will admit Jay to the hospital after one week. I already booked the whole corridor for her, just as you said," Freya said. He nodded.
Then the air hostess came and told us that we were about to land.
I held Keifer's hand tightly as we landed. Keifer helped me get out.
We kept our luggage in the car and sat down. Keifer called my family members to meet me.
"Happy? They are coming," he said.
I kissed his lips, and he kissed me back.
"Umm..." the driver cleared his throat as we broke our kiss.
Soon, we reached the house, and everyone was already there.
I hugged Tita and Lola.
"My Jay," Lola said and kissed my cheeks. Then I hugged Kuya and Aries.
"Our Jay is going to become a mother," Kuya said. I smiled.
We all sat on the couch, and Aunty Rozina came. I stood up and hugged her.
"Please sit, Miss Jay. I will bring some water for you... and I missed you," she said.
"I missed you too, Aunty," I said.
She gave us water.
I was feeling so tired. I held Keifer's sleeve.
"Baby, I'm so tired," I said.
He scooped me up and walked toward our room.
Aunty had already cleaned our room properly.
Keifer laid me down on the bed and covered me with a blanket.
"Sleep, love. I'm here," he said and placed pillows around me.
"Okay," I said.
He gave me a peck, and I fell asleep.
When I woke up, I looked around, but Keifer wasn't there.
I slowly sat up and started walking downstairs.
I was about to reach downstairs when—
"Miss Jay," one of the maids said and held my hand.
"Why are you going alone? It's not good for you," she said and helped me. She made me sit on the couch and gave me some water.
"Where is Keifer?" I asked.
"Sir said he was going somewhere and would come back soon," she said.
I nodded and looked around.
"Where is my family?" I asked.
"They left because some urgent work came up," she said.
I nodded.
Soon, the front door opened, and Freya walked in. She hugged me lightly.
"Where were you?" I asked.
"I just went to my home to meet my family," she said.
I nodded.
She sat down, and we started talking.
But suddenly, my vision started to blur, and my stomach started hurting so much.
"Freya..." I said, holding my head.
"Freya... it's hurting," I said.
Just then, Keifer walked in.
"Ba—" He stopped mid-sentence as he saw my condition.
"Keifer, call the ambulance!" Freya shouted.
Keifer dialed the ambulance number and knelt beside me.
"Baby, look at me... I'm here... I'm with you, okay? Don't worry," he said and rubbed my palm.
"Keifer... it's hurting," I said and screamed.
"Keifer, the ambulance is here," Freya said.
Keifer scooped me up and laid me down in the ambulance.
The whole way, I cried in pain...
"I'm gonna die... I can't..." I said, breathing heavily.
"No, Jay... please stay with me... nothing is gonna happen to you," Keifer said, and he was crying too.
Soon, we reached the hospital, and they took me to the labor room.
"Jay, I'm here," Keifer said and held my hand.
I nodded while Freya helped me change into the hospital clothes.
"Okay, Jay. When we tell you to push, you have to push," Freya said.
I nodded in pain.
She applied some gel and checked on me. After a few minutes, she told me to push.
I used all my strength.
"Okay, just one more..." she said.
I pushed again.
Just then, the room fell silent.
Only one cry filled the room.
"Baby boy," Freya said and handed my baby to the nurse. She started cleaning him, but my eyes never left my baby.
Just then, another wave of pain hit me.
"Ahhhhhh!" I screamed.
Freya told me the second one was coming.
I pushed with all my strength, and Keifer encouraged me. He kept holding my hand.
"Baby, one more. Please," he said and kissed my forehead.
I pushed one more time, and again, crying filled the room.
"Another baby boy," Freya said and handed him to the nurse.
The nurse handed our first baby to me.
I held him with my shaking hands.
As soon as he came into my arms, his crying became softer, and he opened his eyes for the first time.
He looked at me for a whole two seconds, then slowly smiled.
And right there, my whole heart melted.
Keifer looked at us with tears in his eyes.
He scooped him up, and our baby held his finger.
The nurse handed me our second son.
But unlike our first son, who was calm, he was totally the opposite.
He kept crying.
Then he looked at me, and just like the first one, he smiled, but then kicked his little legs.
Keifer put the first one in the crib, and I handed him our second son.
But the baby started crying.
Keifer held him anyway.
He looked at Keifer.
Unlike the first one, who held his finger, he directly kicked his stomach and showed his tongue.
"Jay, I'm telling you, he is gonna be naughty," Keifer said.
Freya chuckled.
"Congratulations," she said once more.
"Jay, are you okay?" Freya asked.
I nodded.
She scooped up our first baby boy.
"Hi, I'm your aunty," she said.
He smiled.
She then scooped up our second one after handing the first one back to me.
"Hi, I'm your aunty," she said.
But he just rolled his eyes.
We all burst into laughter.
