A young patient who had been in a coma for weeks slowly opened his eyes.

She hurried out of the room to call the doctor, leaving the confused young man alone.
The boy looked around at the unfamiliar white ceiling and clean hospital walls.
"...Didn't I die?" he muttered.

Years of living a life he had never experienced.

As the headache slowly faded, Zayden stared blankly at the ceiling.

"My head hurts a little," Zayden replied. "Other than that, I feel fine."
The doctor nodded and wrote something on his clipboard.
"Do you know your name?"
"Zayden Walker."
"Do you know where you are?"
"A hospital."
"And today's date?"
Zayden answered after thinking for a moment.
The doctor smiled slightly.
"Good. Your memory seems to be fine."
A nurse entered the room and handed the doctor a file.
"You've been in a coma for almost three weeks," the doctor said. "It's normal to feel confused after waking up."
Zayden simply nodded. He already knew that from the memories he had just received.
"We'll keep you here for a few more days for observation," the doctor continued. "If everything looks good, you'll be discharged."
"Okay."
The doctor finished writing a few more notes before leaving with the nurse.
The room became quiet again.
Zayden leaned back against the bed and let out a long breath.
"So... this really is the Marvel Universe."
He remembered everything from his previous life, and he also remembered the sixteen years that Zayden Walker had lived in this world.
The memories fit together without any problems.

Then he looked at his only Permanent Slot, which already contained the Galvanic Mechamorph (Upgrade) Transformation.
"...I am an idiot," Zayden muttered.
At the time, he had thought Upgrade was the best choice.
Now he realized he had acted too quickly.
The Homelander Template had greatly strengthened his body the moment he obtained it. It had also given him abilities like flight, super strength, heat vision, enhanced senses, and incredible durability.
