This setting reminded Kamiyā Yuu of another rather obscure anime, 'Humanity Has Declined.'
He had stumbled across that anime back then and found it quite interesting after watching it several times. Later, he had rewatched it repeatedly.
Whether in terms of story, the heroine's sharp commentary, or its worldview, the anime was very interesting.
In that anime, humanity had already declined, and fairies had become the new humanity on Earth. The female protagonist, Miss Human, was a fairy observer among the old humans.
