Xihe County, Min County Mountain.
This mountain is located near the southern outskirts of the city where a Taoist temple dedicated to Sa Shoujian stands, commonly known as Sa Ye Temple. Celestial Master Sa was born in Xihe and returned to his roots in his later years till he became an immortal.
The Taoist temple was initially built during the Southern Song Dynasties and expanded in the Qianlong Emperor's reign, encompassing a theater stage, main hall, and east and west side halls. The main hall houses the image of Celestial Master Sa, while the east and west side halls are for Spiritual Official Wang and General Yang Si.
Spiritual Official Wang was a disciple of a supernatural being, while General Yang Si was a general of the ancient Chouchi Country—established by the Di Tribe of the Yang Clan during the North and South Dynasties, precisely in Xihe.
