Despite the air around him being filled with radioactive dust, Adrick could only gasp for breath.
A faint ionization shield covered his body, keeping the scorching heat of the magma at bay, while the tiger nestled unconscious in his arms.
After being swallowed by the Flower of Healing, Adrick had commanded it to burrow deep into the ground to ensure absolute safety.
Fortunately, this allowed the tiger to survive the nuclear blast that had just occurred.
As for Adrick, he used the same tactic as before; just before the nuclear blast, he rapidly split off a small part of his tissue and burrowed underground.
Although the body left on the surface was vaporized in an instant by the nuclear blast, that small part of the tissue managed to regenerate and restore itself.
Luckily, the depth of their location was sufficient to prevent them from being engulfed by the molten rock on the surface.
