Chapter 41 - Chapter 41

The Heroes Chat Group had seen its fair share of wild discussions, but today's topic?

It had sent shockwaves through dimensions, planets, and realms alike.

Chat Log

Don: "Emperor of Mankind, what's up with the sudden interest in giving Goku a harem?"

Oppai Dragon: "Yes, Master. What's up with that favoritism? Here I am in need of some expert advice."

Hybrid: "Seriously, I am also interested."

Glutton: "Just beat the living shit out of Sky Mammoth, so how did we go from that to harems?"

Neo One For All: "Interested."

The King (Meruem): "What does that mean?"

Hybrid: "Harem means having more than a single lover. One guy, two or three girls doing the bow chicka wow. Need to keep it PG for the kids."

The King: "I see. I don't find the appeal."

Emperor of Mankind: "Well, I'm only doing it for fun. Look at Goku's face and tell me it wouldn't be hilarious seeing him handle a harem. Take a sec and you will LOL so hard it might pop your funny bone."

Ichigo: "Curses, I lost my bone somewhere."

Silent Beast: "Same."

Meanwhile, on Earth

Gohan had seen the chat and was about to log out when suddenly…

Monkey King: "Gohan my boy, we need to discuss some very deep topics today."

Gohan: "Gohan has left. Only the Silent Beast stays."

Monkey King: "I will personally test how silent you can be. Hehe."

Gohan: "Hehe."

𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒕…

Somewhere in the Earth's orbit, Gohan was running for his life, but fate was cruel.

He bumped into Goku near the moon and was greeted with a tight slap to the face.

Gohan: "Child abuse!"

Emperor of Mankind: "So what's up with you guys asking about harems?"

Yasaka: "You posted a picture with five women."

Naruto paused and scrolled up.

There it was—a photo of him smiling like a king, surrounded by:

HinataShionHanabiSaradaKaguya

Emperor of Mankind: "Only four are my wives. One is my sister-in-law."

Silence.

Then…

Neo One For All: "Mmm."

Hybrid: "Mmmm."

Oppai Dragon: "Mmmmm."

Ichigo: "Mmmmmmm."

Naruto squinted at the chat.

Emperor of Mankind: "I am NOT giving advice, so screw you guys."

Unfortunately, he forgot that the epic music was still playing at full intensity in the background.

A moment later, across the multiverse, heroes and warriors suddenly felt an overwhelming battle aura—their instincts ignited, their bodies moved on their own, and before they knew it…

Naruto watched the chaos unfold through the group's live feeds and sighed.

Emperor of Mankind: "…Maybe I should lower the battle music next time."

Yasaka, still watching the group's reactions, smirked.

Yasaka: "So, about that harem discussion…"

Naruto logged out immediately.

Another Day in the Heroes Chat Group

The Heroes Chat Group was once again in peak chaos mode.

Earlier that day, someone had uploaded videos of Naruto vs. Ishiki and his battle against Odin from another universe.

Naruto didn't mind—he wanted the others to learn from his experiences.

However, as expected, everyone in the chat had different takes on the fight.

Chat Log:

Hybrid: "Emperor of Mankind, the boss. Take notes, kids."

Don: "My subordinate said, 'I terrify my slaves,' so I looked at him until he apologized."

Silent Beast: "Like a boss."

Oppai Dragon: "I thought you said, 'I can't interfere directly.'" (Highlighted the Naruto vs. Odin video.)

Emperor of Mankind: "That's a special case. It happened while I was drunk. It made me weaker by a few percentages, and I just don't like taking away someone else's fun."

Grand Scholar (Wang Lin): "Master, I don't understand how Odin died."

Toriko: "Same here." (He had rewatched the battle multiple times but still didn't get it.)

Goku: "I thought the pit was a joke… also didn't understand the battle."

A wave of confusion filled the chat.

Finally, Naruto decided to clarify.

Emperor of Mankind: "I guess it's hard to understand from a video, so I'll tell you what happened. You see… I just simply killed him in the past."

Silence.

Then…

Wang Lin: "Gunner, do you see that man?"

???: "Yes, My Lord?"

Wang Lin: "I don't want to."

???: "Understood, Mi'Lord."

Ichigo: "No chill you have, savage I shall be." (Quoting Yoda.)

Then, out of nowhere—

Oppai Dragon: "When you're hitting it from the back, and she says, 'Destroy my cheeks like you destroyed Konoha.'"

A meme appeared in the chat:

📷 "These cheeks shall know pain."

Naruto burst out laughing.

Emperor of Mankind: "I can't believe you just did that. You just made Yahiko cry as I sent it to him."

Somewhere in another realm, Yahiko stared at his phone in horror.

Konan just sighed.

Rias: "Emperor of Mankind, loyalty to the horde is necessary. You just gave away your man to the outsider."

Emperor of Mankind: "Still not enough practice. You need to feel the memes. Make the memes your life, and you shall be the memer."

More Memes Erupt

Neo One For All: "It's dangerous to meme alone, so take this."

Ichigo: "I don't always tweet memes, but when I do, I use the Memer Package 7."

Oppai Dragon: "You guys got a bro feeling going on there. What did we miss?"

Don: "You gotta feel the flow of the memes, and you shall understand. Professional memer here."

Naruto Introduces a New Game: Metal Empire VR

After all the meme madness, Naruto brought the chat back to business.

Emperor of Mankind: "Okay, enough jokes. I got a game for all of you guys. I talked with Issei about it and showed him the playthrough. He is loving it."

Everyone listened intently.

Emperor of Mankind: "It's a game from another universe filled with giant robots. You can experience piloting one and even build your own while competing with warriors from that universe."

Almost everyone showed their approval.

Except for a few warriors who only cared about direct combat.

Issei was over the roof with excitement.

But he had one issue.

His battle with Riser was coming up.

Oppai Dragon: "Let me deal with that flaming chicken first and take his girls. Then I'll have my fun with those sweet, sweet Gundams."

The chat exploded with laughter.

Somewhere in another universe, Riser sneezed violently.

Renegade Immortal:

Wang Lin halted as he stepped beyond the town's outskirts, his movements as fluid as the drifting night wind. In his grasp, the young boy—still reeling from the breakneck speed—was unceremoniously dropped onto the dirt ground.

The boy groaned, his vision spinning from the sheer force of the journey. Wang Lin had not shielded him with Ki, allowing him to feel the raw impact of their speed difference. His sect robes, once pristine, were now dust-covered, a stark contrast to the nameless savior before him.

Wang Lin regarded the child, his gaze hidden behind the blank mask of his ANBU attire. The uniform was foreign to these lands, a testament to his connection to something greater than the simple sect the boy hailed from.

"Be careful next time. Don't make trouble with people stronger than you." His voice was calm yet distant, carrying the weight of experience. "Pride can't feed you, nor can it replace your life."

Before the child could respond, Wang Lin vanished into the darkness, his presence dissipating like a shadow at dusk.

The boy struggled to his feet, shaking the dust from his robes as he scanned his surroundings.

But there was nothing.

His savior was gone, as if he had never existed.

'Who was he?' The boy wondered, gripping his chest to steady his breath. The black uniform, the mask, the ghostly silence of his departure—they did not belong to any sect he knew.

'Was he an assassin?'

That thought sent a shiver down his spine. He needed to report this to his sect elders.

Without another word, the boy turned and rushed back toward the city.

From above, Wang Lin watched everything.

His divine sense, honed through endless training and his recent breakthrough to the second level of Qi Condensation, allowed him to see as if he stood among the heavens.

His perspective hovered over the boy, tracking his movements as if he were an observer of the world rather than a participant.

'His senses are weak… too weak for someone at the third level of Qi Condensation.'

There was no disappointment in his thought—just a cold, analytical assessment. His encounter with those arrogant sect disciples had been laughably easy.

They thought themselves powerful, but in the grand scale of cultivation, they were nothing.

A sudden message appeared in his mind, echoing like a decree from the heavens.

Mission Notice:

Spread your name far and wide. (50,000 pt)Take over the Kingdom. (20,000 pt)Destroy the Divine Bull. (5,000 pt)

These were missions issued by Naruto, Don, and Toriko.

Wang Lin's eyes narrowed beneath his mask.

'Master's mission is a long-term goal. But Elder Toriko's task… that is feasible within a few years.'

His fingers lightly drummed against the branch he perched on, considering his next move.

A sharp shift in the air pulled Wang Lin from his thoughts.

He was not alone.

From below, a group of elite bodyguards had encircled the area. Their cultivation levels were formidable—10th Level Qi Condensation warriors.

Two of them were even at the 14th level.

But Wang Lin felt no fear.

Instead, a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips beneath his mask.

"I definitely hate this…" he muttered, stretching his arms as he gauged their movements.

A beat passed.

Then, his smirk deepened.

"…but at least I'll earn some points."

A wicked smile spread across Wang Lin's face beneath his mask.

"The death scent is too low on my body, while they stink of it."

This was a unique ability he had developed after studying the Path of Darkness. Ever since receiving the Shadow Paralysis technique, he had been able to smell death itself—a lingering aura that clung to those who had danced too closely with the reaper.

And right now, the men surrounding him reeked of it.

"Good enough."

Without hesitation, Wang Lin activated the chakra smoke bombs.

A thick, dark fog exploded outward, swallowing the battlefield in absolute blindness. The smoke warped perception, cutting off vision, sound, and even spiritual senses—except for Wang Lin's own.

He moved like a ghost, blending into the darkness. His shadow flickered unnaturally, extending like living tendrils until it wrapped around one of the bodyguards.

"Got you."

The unfortunate man stiffened, his body no longer his own.

At that moment, Wang Lin struck.

His nail punch—a technique that compressed the power of ten strikes into a single point—landed cleanly on the man's chest.

Crack!

A hole burst through the man's torso, his body collapsing before he even realized what had happened.

The remaining guards panicked, unable to see, hear, or sense what was going on.

Wang Lin exhaled, his body already feeling the fatigue of battle.

"That move takes too much stamina…"

His reserves were running low, and a prolonged fight was not in his favor. He had to leave now.

Swiftly, he dashed through the smoke, slapping exploding tags onto the confused guards. Before they could react, he activated them.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosions rippled through the battlefield, sending flames and debris flying into the air. The screams of the injured warriors echoed in the night.

Meanwhile, Wang Lin had already vanished into the darkness, his body hidden with Life Erase.

As he ran through the forest, he heard the system notification.

"You have received 400 points (80 pts for each man.)"

"Not bad," he thought, feeling satisfied.

With these points, he could finally afford something useful.

He quickly scanned the store and without hesitation, purchased:

Earth Fish Projection Technique.

A wave of information flooded his mind, granting him knowledge of the ability.

It was a low-level space technique that allowed him to phase through the earth for one minute. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than nothing.

"I don't even understand how it works… but it works. Whoever made this was either a genius or completely insane."

For Wang Lin, however, this was just the beginning.

"If I can grasp this technique, I can start understanding the Dao of Space… along with the Dao of Darkness."

And with that thought, he moved deeper into the forest, searching for denser life to further cloak his presence.

Once he was in a safe position, Wang Lin perched atop a tall tree, pulled out his phone, and checked the Heroes Chat Group.

A new video had been posted—one showcasing the Emperor of Mankind's battle.

Wang Lin watched in silence, his eyes narrowing in deep thought.

The raw power, the precision, the effortless domination…

"I wonder if I can reach this level one day."

His fingers clenched slightly.

He wanted it.

He needed it.

Far beyond the mortal realm, an entity stirred. All Heaven, the overseer of fate, gazed down upon him with intrigue.

"This match, I shall win. Your champion may have intelligence and unique skills, but I do not lack in those areas either."

A battle was coming.

And in one century, Wang Lin would face his greatest challenge yet.
