Lu Mina was surprised when the woman in front of her snatched the clothes from her hands. Her action was too fast for her to see. Annoyed now that the woman tried to fight for the item, she attempted to grab it back but was unable to hold anything when she moved to her side and avoided her.
"You, give that item to me. It's mine. I have reserved it since yesterday." Lu Mina's face is red from embarrassment, but she didn't want to be humiliated by the woman, so she started pointing fingers at her face.
Everyone knows that she is a celebrity that gets what she wants. It will be foolish to let this woman go after she embarrasses her in front of the staff. She promised to crush the woman in front of her.
Vera, on the other hand, is calmly assessing Lu Mina. Judging by the woman's actions and the way she treated people, she concluded that the young woman came from a wealthy family. However, who is she to treat her like nothing? She also came from the most affluent family in Country A; she is not someone to be trifled with. Having plenty of experience with this kind of people, Vera knows well how to handle this type of woman.
Noting Xu Li's location, she signals him to come closer and hand over the clothes to his waiting hands. "Xu Li, you go to the counter and pay for Mommy's item, okay?"
Xu Li nodded his head and walked toward the counter to follow his mom's words.
Sensing that the situation is not favorable for her, Lu Mina wanted to approach the boy and get the clothes but was stopped by Vera.
"Don't you ever touch my son," she said in a menacing voice. Lu Mina and the staff felt the deadly intention coming from the woman and unconsciously moved back.
The store staff are even more panicked now. They didn't expect that the calm-looking woman was different from what they expected. A rush movement at the entrance of the store made the staff feel relieved.
Manager Chen hurriedly went back to the store when he received the message that there was a commotion happening. Upon studying the situation, he is also not confident to solve the issue. He went to the women fighting and asked about the situation.
"Mr. Chen, I am glad you are here. I want to buy the clothes I reserved yesterday," Lu Mina quickly said after seeing the manager's arrival. She intentionally mentioned his name to form a familiarity, even though she always ignores the manager.
"Ms. Lu, I am afraid I need to ask about the situation first."
His staff walks to him and explains what happened. Mr. Chen closes his lips tightly due to irritation. He is annoyed to be called back because of some issue and later realizes that it was Lu Mina who started the trouble and even used his name.
"Miss Lu, when you left this item yesterday, I informed you that the store doesn't hold any clothes for our customers. It has always been our store policy. Therefore, Miss He glances at the woman to know her name.
"Jia," Vera supplied.
"Miss Jia here has all the right to purchase the item." He explained patiently.
"You, do you know who I am? How dare you say that I can't buy the clothes I want? How much is it? I will pay double the price of the item." Angry that the manager dared to deny her, she pointed at the man's chest.
"I don't think this woman can pay for her items anyway. Look at how she dresses. She looks poor." Lu Mina added while scrutinizing Vera from head to toe.
Vera, however, is unaffected by her words. She focuses her attention on the man instead. "Mr. Chen, I believe this issue is already resolved. I want to pay for my items and finish my purchase."
"Of course, Miss Jia. Please follow me." They moved to the counter but were interrupted by Lu Mina again. She caught Xu Li's shirt and forcefully dragged him to her side, then snatched the clothing.
Witnessing her son being dragged by the woman. Vera saw red. She rushes and holds Lu Mina's hand and twists it like a twig. The woman cries in pain after her wrist is injured.
"How Dare You!" She shouted, full of fury. Because of her loud noise, people started to gather around the door to watch the disturbance inside.
