Chapter 7 - 7 Yuvraj Jai Rajput

She paused for a moment before continuing.

"So, let's begin. Who should introduce themselves first—seniors or juniors?"

"Ma'am, seniors first!" a voice rang out from the back.

All eyes turned to the girl who had just spoken—the same one dressed in luxury brands. With a confident smirk, she stood up and flipped her hair.

"Hi, everyone," she announced. "I'm "K" , vice president of the drama club, the diva of this college, a fresh face award winner, and the reigning fashion icon of the campus." She dramatically placed a hand on her hip. "I love beautiful things, and most importantly, I love myself—because I am beautiful. Beauty is my top priority, and clearly, God loves me, which is why he blessed me with both beauty and wealth. You know… the perfect combination of beauty and fortune."

Tiya leaned towards Chahat and muttered under her breath, "Yeah… beauty and wealth, but with zero intelligence and absolutely no common sense. If I even associate the word 'intelligent' with her, I swear intelligence itself would feel insulted."

Chahat stifled a laugh. "By the way, why does she call herself 'K'?" she asked.

Tiya smirked. "Oh, that? It's just Keya being dramatic. It's not like she actually forgets her name—though, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she did."

Chahat giggled, her eyes twinkling as she glanced at Keya, who was still basking in her self-proclaimed glory.

"I think that's enough, Keya," the teacher finally intervened. "Besides beauty, you should also focus on your studies."

Keya sighed dramatically. "Okay, ma'am."

"Now, let's hear from a junior. Any volunteers?"

Tiya stood up confidently. "My name is Tiya Agarwal. I love adventure, and when I get bored, I go trekking."

The teacher nodded approvingly before turning to the seniors. "Alright, now from the senior batch… Jai, why don't you introduce yourself?"

The boy sitting next to Tiya stood up with a relaxed yet confident smile.

"Jai Rajput," he said. "Third-year student, captain of the volleyball team, and a big fan of adventure. Anything exciting and adrenaline-pumping? I'm in."

A few girls in the class exchanged glances, whispering among themselves. It wasn't surprising—Jai was the type who naturally drew attention. With his athletic build, easy-going charm, and confident demeanor, he was undeniably one of the most sought-after guys on campus.

"Now, a junior," the teacher prompted.

Chahat hesitated for a moment before standing up. "I'm Chahat. I'm a transfer student, and I'm new to both the college and the city of Shimla. I'm looking forward to my days here."

A hushed murmur spread across the room.

"Oh, so she's the scholarship girl," one of Keya's lackeys whispered loudly enough for others to hear.

"Look at her clothes," the other one added mockingly. "Her jacket is literally patched up with stickers to cover the torn parts."

Chahat lowered her gaze but said nothing, quietly taking her seat.

The teacher, having taken note of everyone's introductions, moved on to group assignments. "I'll be forming groups with both seniors and juniors so you can help and guide each other in your projects," she explained. "Very soon, juniors will need to choose their assignment topics, and seniors will assist them. Also, all my classes will be conducted jointly with both batches."

With that, she dismissed the class as the bell rang.
