Jai turned to Tiya and nodded toward Chahat. "Introduce me to your new friend."
Tiya smirked. "Oh, you don't need an introduction," she teased. "You already heard her name." Then she turned to Chahat and said, "Meet Jai."
Jai flashed his signature charming smile. "Hey, so your name is Chahat. Nice name. I'm Jai—"
"No, no, no," Tiya cut in with a playful smirk. "Correction. Yuvraj Jai Rajput. Chahat, did you know he's from a Rajput royal family?"
Chahat blinked in surprise. "Really?"
Jai just chuckled. Meanwhile, the girls in the class were still sneaking glances at him, their admiration evident. As always, wherever Jai went, attention followed.
And with that, their first day began.
Jai leaned back in his chair and stretched, flashing a grin. "First, let us give you a tour of our college," he said, glancing at the group.
The three of them got ready to leave the classroom, chatting amongst themselves, when a sudden interruption made them stop in their tracks. A girl, Keya, stepped forward, blocking Tiya's path. With arms crossed and a smirk curling on her lips, she sneered.
"You think you're so smart, don't you?" she scoffed, tilting her head. "You, who dress like a tomboy, can't even take care of yourself, yet you act like you're better than me."
Tiya arched a brow, unimpressed. "And look who's talking," she shot back, her voice laced with amusement.
Keya's expression darkened, but before she could say anything, Tiya continued, her voice unwavering. "Yes, I do think I'm better than you. Unlike you, I don't need to repeat a year. You failed and ended up in Jai's class, which means—" she paused dramatically, "you're not just my sister's former classmate anymore, you're mine too. Congratulations."
A ripple of laughter came from the group as Keya's face turned red with anger.
Tiya leaned in slightly, lowering her voice mockingly. "Honestly, it's like you have shit in your brain… Oh wait," she gasped dramatically, "do you even have one? Maybe we should check."
Keya's lips trembled, her fists clenching. But before she could retaliate, Tiya delivered the final blow.
"Poor Raichands," she sighed, shaking her head with mock sympathy. "Just one daughter, and yet… she's utterly useless. Tuk Tuk— or should I say brainless?"
"You… Youuu—!" Keya screeched, her voice rising, but she couldn't come up with a proper response. Instead, she let out a frustrated yell and stormed off.
Tiya exhaled, shaking off the tension. "Ugh, that was exhausting. All my energy got wasted on her." She stretched her arms. "Anyway, I'm starving. Let's go grab something to eat."
The group headed to the canteen, ordering sandwiches and cold drinks. As they ate, they chatted about college life, laughing and teasing each other. The atmosphere lightened, and by the time they finished their meal, Keya's outburst was already forgotten.
