Chapter 49 - Odin

"I didn't think my case would be so important to be handled by the All-Father himself…" Kali muttered.

"Only the wisdom of the All-Father can judge your wrong doings, trespasser." The guard carrying Kali on the left said.

They were dragging him because Kali suddenly "lost" his body functions and needed to be carried.

Minutes ago he met Heimdall, the gate keeper himself didn't speak but gave Kali a weird curious look.

"Hey, so while we are making our way to the great golden castle of the Royal Asgardian family, would you mind telling me about this?" Kali asked putting up the golden shackles which had properties of stopping any kinds of powers.

"Shut it!!" The guard shoved him to silence him.

Of course Kali still had ways to break this golden shackle but there was no reason to, he was about to meet Odin himself.

They then stood behind what seemed to be a line, with other prisoners shackled and waiting for their turn to get their judgement from the All-Father.

"I thought I was a special case, seemed like all these other lowly criminals are getting judged as well." Kali said.

"Silence criminal, it's the day of the week for the All-Father to cast his judgement." The guard on Kali's left said.

"Is it now?"

Kali watched as the All-Fathers finger moved right, repeatedly sending the ones before him to the cells.

There was once a time when he saw Odin's finger move left and the criminal screamed out begging, the man was to be executed.

It wasn't long 'till it was Kali's turn, as the two guards walked him up to the spot where most attention was given, an old man spoke up next to Kali.

"This mortal trespassed our territory and appeared in-"

"Now now, I'm no Mortal you old looking buffoon, put some respect on this father would you? Though I don't stay in Asgard I am a god in some sense." Kali said, interrupting the old man who announced his crimes to Odin.

The two guards on Kali's sides hit him in the back of the head while the other shook him to be silent.

The old man had a look of disbelief and hopeless look, to him Kali was just another rebellious cosmic criminal entering Asgardians territory.

Even the fact that Kali called himself a god was over the top for him, heck even a few Asgardians watching pursed their lips thinking the man was crazy.

"Silence!! You are to not speak in the presence of the All-Father himsel-" The old man spoke but yet again Kali interrupted and looked to Odin.

"I mean no disrespect of course great Odin, I am a big fan." Kali said as he stood up despite the fact that the guards on his side were pressing hard for Kali not to move.

"What?! Seize him!!" The old man announcing criminal events yelled at the guards.

Other guards came running to hold Kali down as well but all paused in the middle of running, even the old man stopped talking.

Kali's eyes were always on Odin, who had his hand up gesturing the others to pause their movements.

"You claim yourself a god?"

Was all Odin said.

"Well I was told that I am, and/or have the potential to be." Kali said.

"And your reason for appearing before me?"

"I was just in the middle of doing business with the dwarfs when they grabbed me, and brought me here, I wasn't planning on visiting the great Asgard but since I'm here why not introduce myself." Kali said before pulling the golden-steel like cuffs as they creaked before breaking apart, most in small pieces.

*Crrkkk*

*Boom*

Every man and woman who held the title of Guard raised their weapons whether it be swords, spears, or bows and aimed it at Kali who easily broke out of the cuffs.

The cuffs wasn't something anyone could get out of, but it wasn't impossible to get rid of it either if you have the abilities to do so.

Odin again raised his arms, seizing the guards movements.

With a quick glance Kali noticed that the ones such as Thor, Loki or even Sif with the others were not present.

Odin's queen wife was at the side steps though.

"I am Kali, Kali Green, son of...a bastard." Kali said.

He wasn't sure why he had the thought of telling anyone who he is the son of but remembering Magnus, he didn't say much.

There were small whispers around the watching crowd, most likely wondering why this man would badmouth his parents.

Odin eyed Kali up and down, tilted his head left and right with some curiosity in his eyes and finally spoke.

"Are you under the rule of Jade's pantheon? Do you reside in the Takamagahara realm?" Odin asked.

This time it was Kali's turn to look confused.

Who the hell was Jade? Takama-what?!...

Kali was completely lost, he doesn't remember anyone named Jade in the Marvel movies back in his last life.

Seeing Kali with that look, Odin knew the answer.

The reason he asked was because Kali had similarities to the Jade Emperor's people, the different colors of hair and the same feeling of power.

The others weren't able to see it, but through the All-Father's eyes, he could see the bundle of natural energy force around Kali's body.

"Disregard my previous question…" Odin said and stayed quiet for a few seconds before someone else took it upon themselves to question Kali.

"Would you be able to free our mind's curiosities?" Frigga spoke.

Most would only dream of interrupting or voicing out their opinions, but the ones who can freely speak are those closest to Odin, a high official or a Royal Family.

"Of course you're highness…" Kali said.

The feeling towards Frigga was soft, almost harmless and made Kali unsure...it was as if feeling a mother's presence.

There might be some witchcraft messing with Kali and he knew that, but he liked the feeling which isn't harmful.

"...my powers or anything of myself is not of this dimension, not this universe." Kali said to the confusion of many, though some did have small gasps.

"Is that so?..."

"My, well that is certainly out of my expectations...but then where? If you don't mind me asking…" Frigga asked again.

Odin and Frigga were thinking of maybe another universe, but Kali denied it.

"Not from this multiverse as well, and I don't even know where, that bastard just did what he wants and put me here."

With the confusion shown again Kali answered with his dishonorable "father."

Frigga took charge again and spoke up.

"And who is this father of yours?" She asked.

"No idea really, but he did decide on the name Magnus." Kali said lazily.

Despite Frigga's eyes widening, no one really caught it other than Odin and Kali.

Odin on the other hand stayed silent the whole time, and like two minds at sync Frigga asked all the questions Odin would ask.

Because since Kali's arrival in Nidavellir, Heimdall never would have known anything if Eitiri didn't notify them of Kali's arrival.

The crazy thing is even Odin can't see anything about this man with his vast amount of powers.

"So the man is your father?"

Odin finally spoke again.

"Uuhh...yeah."

"So you know him?"

"...yes." Odin said.

A few seconds later Odin stood up, and waved his hands dismissing everyone from the hall before walking off himself.

And as everyone was moving making their way to the doors, Frigga said a few words to a Captain guard before the guard rushed off.

Frigga and Kali stood staring at each other as everyone made their way out, even the criminals chained and cuffed up has been taken to the dungeon cells and wait for another 7 days for their judgment.

"..."

Kali stood there not knowing what to do, Odin suddenly walked off like he was having a break.

"Please excuse the sudden confusion, this has turned out unexpected, I have set up a guide for you to enjoy your stay in Asgard, I hope you enjoy your stay." Frigga said before walking off.

The Captain Guard came back running to take Kali somewhere, he asked where the Captain was taking him.

The Captain responded that he is taking him to practice grounds.

As they walked, Kali dragged his eyes across the Asgardian civilization.

Every important building was golden or some kind of silver metal.

Some buildings were mysterious to Kali as he didn't know what purpose they have, most of them were weirdly shaped and sometimes even plain...stupid.

But all in all looks really majestic.

Even if it wasn't Kali wasn't going to open his fat mouth to offer his opinions.

As they walked down to an area on the side of the big walkway to the Golden Asgard family, a big area circular and had stone grounds with art designs on it, in this field was full of warriors training on many weapons.

The field was big enough to contain 3 football fields, so even if there were many warriors they still had space around them to maneuver agily.

"Wait here." The Captain said before casually walking off.

"Huh?!" Kali wondered why his asshole of a tour guide walked off when he saw a shadow on the ground.

"So, you are the person I was told to show around Asgard?"

Kali turned around just in time to see a man with golden hair drop from the air with a small hammer on his hand.

This man was Chrisg Hemsworth.

Or more known in this universe as THOR.

"You look mighty, dear friend, what might your name be?" Thor asked as he walked up to Kali and dropped his hammer on the side.

•••••••••••••••

In the lower Mortal world, and more specifically New York.

In a very casual looking building, Markus and Ava sat on two chairs facing Fury's desk with Hill standing in the back.

Hours ago Markus had already woken up and had another episode of panic seeing that Ava wasn't a dream.

It escalated to the point that the building went alert again, and Markus would have started his rapid trigger pulling if Fury didn't settle him down.

Soon enough Markus asked what was always in his mind: What the hell are you?

And Ava then started with her life story, of how she was in an accident in one of S.H.I.E.L.D. 's many projects.

Though she didn't say much about her parents also being there at the time.

When she explained she spoke to Markus as if he had a brain, using big words like "Quantum", and everything related to it, it went in one ear and out the other.

All he got from that life story was "Explosion", "Accident", "Powers", and "Uncontrollable."

Realizing that she wasn't a ghost and that she just had a superhero accident, Markus calmed down but twitched hearing that she took on the names such as "Ghost" or even "Casper."

But he decided that his antics should stop.

Because he has a reputation of being a "Badass Cold Motherfucker" (at least he thinks so) on the line, and he can't let people know he is creeped out by ghosts and the likes.

But he soon realized it was too late as he walked out of the nursing room he was resting in.

The agents he would usually mean mug as he passed by are now smirking at him for some reason, he didn't know what was up until Ava informed him that some agents had seen him screaming like a terrified girl in a horror movie at Ava some time ago.

Markus wanted to shoot all these agents but he just hung his head down and rushed away from the crowded places.

Soon Fury called them in his office, no one knew what he was thinking but the bald headed man saw some leverage in Markus and decided to put both Markus and Ava in a small 'Search and Rescue' mission.

Ava was both excited and skeptical about working with someone else on a mission as she usually goes solo, just like Markus, who outright denied the chance to work with this "Ghost Girl", is what he called her.

That was, until Fury placed a card on the table in front of Markus to see.

This card made Markus pause, he had to clear his throat before accepting the mission with Ava.

There is not much that can break Markus like this, but what was on the table was desired by Markus.

It was an identification card, on it was a picture of Markus and in bolted words; AGENT MARKUS A. GREEN.

With this he can finally get rid of that fake agent badge he has been dragging along and will finally have the confidence to wave it in Zhang and Charles face without worries that they'll do research and find out its fake.

This was a legit S.H.I.E.L.D. ID Card.

Ava on the other hand raised an eyebrow, yes she does have a ID card as well but it wasn't anything special.

To her it wasn't, but to Markus…

Agent Hill who was on the side had a small smile on her face, seeing how much of a kid Markus is from his reactions.

The boy was still fantasizing about the spy movies, and action movies.

And now with the ID Card in the middle the debrief went out quicker.

"I'm used to being solo, but I'll make an exception this time, but, I will take the lead on this." Markus said looking back and forth at Fury and the scoffing Ava.

"You? Take the lead? That is impossible, since the moment we met, it's clear to everyone who is more mature." Ava said with her accent.

She would have random spasms here and there, and is hardly seen outside her room and such, but her interest has been caught by a boy her age.

Which have been distracting her from her pain.

"Look little girl, just because you can do a little Cuando thingy, doesn't mean you can actually do things like me, I have been tracking and finding the most hidden morons since I can see so leave these things to me." Markus said as a matter of fact.

""Quantum Tunneling", and just because you have the skills to find people doesn't mean you have the brains to do things correctly." Ava fired back.

Seeing Ava not backing down, Markus fired back with his own words, or at least the best that he could come up with.

Fury sat in front of the two young kids with his head resting on the fingers on the side of his head.

He seemed hopeless in this situation but if he was honest he was actually enjoying it, no secret calculations, no doubts in trust, no dangers, just two kids acting their age.

*PAA*

The two halt their arguments as Fury drops a folder of the missions info in them before speaking.

"The matter of leading this mission is left to your decisions, now take this and get the hell out of my office." Fury said.

As Ava grabbed the folder and headed out first, Markus paused and looked at the table, more specifically the ID card.

"I'll hold onto this until you come back, Mark, but for now that girl better not have no scratch on her." Fury said.

Markus huffed before heading out, and Fury knew better than to touch one of Green's kids but it was all talk in the end.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to give him an access card?" Hill asked on the sides.

"The card has access to shitt, it's just something his been wanting for a while, and there is no clearance level to his name so there is no use worrying." Fury said.

But unknown to Fury that even the dumbest member in the Green's can access almost all of S.H.I.E.L.D. using [Entity].

Suddenly the phone on Fury's desk rang, he looked through seeing who was contacting him.

"Well, look who is finally calling." Fury said.
