If it was a matter of forcing a clash between two incompatible energies so they'd annihilate each other, Jake was damn sure no Player in this Ordeal could do it better than him. Hell, as far as he knew, he might be the only one with an Energy Body at such a high level—or even the only one with an Energy Body at all.
But no need for so much waste. Jake wasn't a Digestor or irreversibly corrupted, but Destruction Aether and Lumyst weren't exactly strangers to him either.
He just had to tread carefully. Whether his Destruction Lumyst could obliterate an enemy's Black Lumyst with similarly destructive properties remained to be seen, but it was sure as hell worth a shot.
