Outside the Demon Suppression Tower, Clark and his companion realized that Guding and the others had been retreating for some time, and continuing to entangle with Aurora no longer held much significance.
"We should retreat too," Clark yelled to Broog, unafraid that Aurora would hear, for the current Aurora could no longer comprehend human language. Even the sounds coming from his throat were not human voices, but the roars of beasts.
Broog nodded and took the lead to withdraw from the battle, darting towards the Demon Suppression Tower.
No sooner had his figure disappeared from the entrance of the Demon Suppression Tower than Clark charged toward it as well.
Upon seeing the two disappear suddenly, Aurora felt somewhat puzzled, even losing his sense of their aura. However, with his current intelligence, he was not clever enough to follow into the main gate of the Demon Suppression Tower but instead began to search left and right.
