Chapter 9 - BNHA #1 PT.4

(morally grey! Izuku)

(mature!/smart! Shigaraki)

Two weeks later and the L.O.V were dead on their feet. They'd underestimated how protective Inko appeared as she visited almost every other day to see Izuku. Toga and Twice were reaching their limits whereas Mr Compress was drinking away his stress.

Kurogiri was worn out to the point where he had to sit down at his own bar, and Dabi was asleep on the couch as he'd ended up taking care of the other members too.

Only Tomura seemed to be available for when the brat actually woke up.

Sitting by Izuku's bedside, Tomura opened his eyes from his half asleep state as he saw the green-haired kid sit up slowly. His eyes widened slightly at seeing Izuku after two weeks, somehow he had changed a lot yet was still the same!

"Mura..?" Izuku mumbled, his full lips now falling into a natural pout. His large, clear eyes blinked slowly before he looked at the crusty man beside his bed.

"Hi!" he chirped quietly, beaming. His eyes curved up slightly.

The newly acquired beauty mark underneath the corner of his right eye made his charms that much more appealing.

"Hey..." Tomura dryly replied, still staring at Izuku in a slight daze.

"What? Is there something on my face?" Izuku asked, frowning slightly at Tomura.

Although, yet again, his lips seem to naturally turn into a pout.

He quickly brought a lightly tanned hand up to his cheek, fingers long and elegant-looking.

Finding nothing seemingly out of the ordinary, Izuku ignored Tomura's strangeness and attempted to stand up from the bed he was stuck in for two whole weeks.

A creak of his bones and a wobbly Izuku moments later had a smile falling on Tomura's lips, having missed seeing Izuku almost every day.

It had been Dabi that was looking after Izuku after all this time, and ocassionally Toga.

Tonight, Tomura just so happened to be the only one available as the others were completely knocked out.

"Don't get up so suddenly, you'll hurt yourself you brat," Tomura said.

Izuku just smiled back in response.

With a sigh, Tomura stood up and grabbed Izuku before flinging the kid over his shoulder. Then he made his way to the bar.

"I don't know if you'll be able to wake them up, but go ahead and try." Tomura placed Izuku down on a barstool.

The boy was way too hyper, he thought, as he watched Izuku reach across the counter and attempt to knock on Kurogiri's physical body as if knocking on a door.

He gaped when the misty man actually woke up from something so simple.

"Izuku-kun!" the bartender said loudly.

Thanks to that, the other members began to wake up too. When they saw the green-haired boy sitting at the counter, well... it was chaos.

"Izu-kun~!" Toga grinned, latching onto the younger boy's arm. She kissed his cheek and asked how he was feeling.

On the other side, Dabi trudged over while emanating an aura of misery. It was quite laughable.

When Izuku looked up at Dabi, he didn't give the man a chance to say anything. "Nii-san, thanks for looking after me!" he said sweetly.

Dabi halted. He was metaphorically shot through the heart with an arrow.

It was then he noticed Izuku's improved appearance. Somehow, the kid seemed... brighter.

"Izuku?" the man muttered.

Izuku laughed and gave him a hug. It was then that the rest of the members also took note of Izuku's looks.

"Wow, Izuku, you got prettier!" Toga squealed. "Did your Quirk somehow give you beautifying effects?! Can it do it to me too?!" she asked.

Izuku glanced at her in confusion before making an 'o' shape with his mouth in realisation. His looks changed, so maybe that's why Tomura was looking at him earlier.

"Can I have a mirror, Toga?" he asked. She nodded and handed over a round golden mirror to him instantly.

Nobody questioned where she was hiding that.

Izuku looked at himself in the mirror. The bright, clear eyes, and the beauty mark on his right– Wait, did his clothes shrink???

Looking down, Izuku was startled to see the sleeves of his shirt were at his elbow and the ends of his trousers were at the middle of his calves.

"Uh... did I get taller, or did my clothes shrink?" Izuku asked everyone.

Dabi wheezed out a laugh and ruffled the kid's hair. "You got taller, kid. C'mon, I'll let you borrow some of my clothes. They might be a bit big but they're better than what you have now."

With that, the two males disappeared up the stairs to get Izuku a change of clothes.

Everyone decided to clearly ignore the fact that Izuku had to be half dragged, when they saw him glaring at them in a dare to say something.

It seems it would be a while before he could safely walk again.

_______

That evening, Izuku returned home without his backpack or clothes. After all, none of them fit him anymore.

He mentioned to his mom that he needed a bunch of new clothes because he hadn't realised he was growing so much, and she immediately agreed.

Gosh, sometimes he worries about how oblivious his mother was. She didn't even question his looks, and Izuku wondered whether she noticed at all.

Oh well, as long as she didn't say anything then Izuku didn't need to lie more than necessary either.

That same night, Izuku sent off his applications to three of the courses at U.A.

Following that, Izuku realised that he probably wouldn't have a lot of time to spend with the L.O.V if he actually ended up going to U.A.

When he mentioned this to the others, Dabi just told him to get a second phone to contact them with.

When Izuku stared at him blankly, the teen rolled his eyes and got everyone burner phones. This way they'll be safe and Izuku could still contact them.

"I'm going to be so lonely though~ " Izuku whined as he and Toga hugged each other sadly, pouting up at Dabi. "Toga... can't you come with me? Don't leave me alone!" Izuku complained.

Toga giggled and hugged Izuku tighter. "Are you going to miss me that much? But I'm a villain, I can't go to a hero school!" she said.

"I mean... Toga, aren't we best friends? You can make more friends at U.A, and I'll be there too!" Izuku tried to convince her.

At the mention of friends, Toga perked up.

"More friends?" Toga muttered. Izuku hugged her tighter. He looked at her with big, totally innocent eyes.

"Toga, what if I make other friends and they don't want me to be friends with you anymore?"

Hook, line and sinker.

Toga stood up all of a sudden. "I won't allow that! Nobody can take my Izu-kun away from me!" She brandished her daggers and her eyes glinted dangerously.

"So you'll come to U.A with me?" Izuku asked happily.

Inwardly he was cackling. His friend was so easy to dupe, it was adorable.

"Yes!"

Hearing Toga's proclamation, Tomura and Dabi groaned miserably. Then they both handed 10,000 yen to Kurogiri.

"I didn't think he'd actually be able to get her to go to U.A..." Dabi mumbled. Tomura nodded.

"Toga, we need to send in your application then! I'll help you!" Izuku cheered.

He spent the rest of the day helping Toga make her applications well enough and then they sent it. They applied her for the Hero and General Education courses.

"And now... time to go on a shopping trip! Toga, get ready. I already told 'Kaa-san that you're coming," he grinned. Toga cheered and grabbed her purse (full of stolen money) and they rushed out the door towards Izuku's house.

When they got there, Midoriya Inko was waiting in front of her car on her phone. She looked up and saw her son and– a girl?!

"Izuku, honey, who is this? Your girlfriend?" his mother said, smile widening.

Izuku quickly shook his head, a slight blush rising on his cheeks.

"Okaa-san, I already told you! This is Toga, she's my friend. She applied to U.A with me! Since we're going shopping today, I asked her to come along!"

Izuku grabbed Toga's shoulders as he stood behind her, peeking over them at his mother with a smile on his face.

Inko laughed and nodded, introducing herself to Toga before they all got in the car and headed towards the mall. It was a fun day for all three of them.

Izuku was slightly horrified by how well Toga and his mother got along, but he was also happy Toga liked her. This female presence would be good for her!

_______

They'd sent their applications early, but there was still four months of school left.

Izuku, as usual, didn't need to study or anything to do the tests or homework he was set.

Never had he been so grateful for his advanced intelligence and ability to learn, it made things very convenient considering his somewhat hectic life.

Whenever he visited the hideout, Izuku would teach Dabi and Toga a little bit of the martial arts he learned. He also started using his Quirks in the training area in the basement, to get them under control.

Pocket was fairly simple to use and understand, he had no problem with that one so he left it alone.

Shadow was difficult, because there was a lot that he could do with it. For now, he was only able to blend into the shadows. But that was good enough, because it meant he'd finally started to control his Quirk.

He practiced Glitch only once on each member of the L.O.V, he didn't want to accidentally hurt them or damage their Quirks somehow, so he limited himself to a fixed output and usage.

It was quite difficult to control, especially since he'd sometimes be passing by a civilian and suddenly their Quirk would go out of hand because of him.

It was annoying, but he couldn't do anything about it until he could control his Quirk. However since it was the hardest one to control, Izuku left it to the last month where he would practice it on a daily basis.

Lightning Bolt was similar to Pocket, it was easy to use and understand so he had no problems with it. Still, he spent two days fully grasping it just in case he'd missed anything.

It was a good thing he did, because he learnt that he could only take in a certain amount of energy before it backfires on him. Luckily it was a rather large amount that he could take in, so he wasn't worried much.

Void... well, none of the villains really liked the idea of being possessed, especially not for someone who's training their Quirk, so Izuku practiced on the goons in the League.

The main villains had a fun time laughing at their misfortune.

_______

A month passed and Izuku had obtained full control over three of his Quirks, so he was able to use them as well. He was still learning the limits of what they could do, but he was satisfied for now.

Glitch and Shadow would have to wait, they were extremely hard to control so he knew he had to spend at least a month on each of them to fully understand, control and use his Quirks.

Eventually, middle school ended and Izuku was preparing to go to U.A.

He'd received the message that the school had gotten his application, and so did Toga, so their nerves were on the high end until the entrance exams.

With all that going on, Izuku had spent less and less time with the villains just hanging out or helping them with their tasks.

Some of them had gotten very jealous, thus Izuku was kidnapped. Again.

_______

"Kurogiri-san, there had better be a good explanation for this!"

Izuku stumbled out of the warp gate and stood in the bar of the hideout.

He'd avoided all of Kurogiri's warp gates at least three times before he got caught trying to help an old lady get her kitten down from a tree.

It was a very cute kitten, he couldn't not offer his help.

The misty bartender audibly gulped at hearing Izuku say his full name, with honorifics.

Usually the kid would use his nickname, even if he was frustrated, therefore he knew he was in trouble this time.

"Wait! It was Shigaraki Tomura's idea!"

He quickly sold out his semi-boss.

Izuku snapped his head to the side and stared at Tomura with a dark glint in his eye.

Said man quickly grabbed his father's severed hand and slapped it onto his face in an attempt to avoid the scary look Izuku was sending him.

He was just a brat, but it seems he'd been spending too much time with Stain and Dabi. Those two imbeciles, he'd have to tell them not to make the brat as bloodthirsty as they are.

It was bad enough with Toga.

"Well? I'm waiting."

Tomura held his hands (yes, the real ones attached to his wrists) above his head in a motion of surrender before pointing at the ceiling.

"Dabi said you forgot about your birthday gift!"

"...eh?"

Izuku was confused. Birthday gift? When was it even his bir– oh. Oh. OH.

"..."

"Happy birthday bunny!!!" Toga screamed, jumping off the top of the stairs with two big parcels in her hands.

Izuku caught her before she could fall and held onto her as she regained her balance.

"Bunny?" he questioned.

It was amusing to see his nose scrunch up adorably yet he still didn't know where the nickname came from.

"This one's from me! And this one's from Dabi! He's too embarrassed to give you his, so I came to do it! Oh, oh, and Stain came by when you were sleeping that one time and left a gift for you too!" Toga rambles, jumping up and down as she shoved the parcels into Izuku's face.

"Oh... remind me to thank them later."

Izuku manoeuvred his way to the couch and sat down, then carefully unwrapped the paper surrounding the gifts.

He put them to the side and gasped.

Toga's gift to him was a set of sharply polished knives with a deep edge, and crimson blades. The red steel reflected the light and looked absolutely beautiful. The grip was good too, pitch black with one horizontal white strip.

Not only that, but there were different types of knives - daggers, long knives, thin knives, a machete, and even a sword! And they all had the same design, very clearly customised.

"Thank you, Toga..." Izuku mumbled, pulling the girl in for a big hug. Toga smiled and hugged him back, snuggling into his larger frame.

After a few moments, they pulled apart and Izuku went to open Dabi's gift. He smiled when he saw what it was.

It was a long hooded dress cloak, one that easy to move around in but would conceal his movements and identity. It was really very cool, and the design was definitely his style.

Along with the cloak, there was a pair of pitch black boots with shock absorption and a springy boost, and a dark red leather quiver for arrows and darts.

It was an awesome gift.

"Toga, go smother Nii-san in hugs for me," he snickered. The girl happily obliged, hopping up the stairs and rushing at the older teen.

They could hear Dabi yelling for her to get off from downstairs, which made Izuku, Tomura and Kurogiri crack up.

Izuku opened Stain's gift next. He already knew he'd love it, but when he saw what it was he was stunned.

It was a whole new set of all the weapons Izuku had learnt how to use.

There was a whip made of dark red leather; a bow and crossbow carved from dark red Tibetan Cherry tree; three spears made from black metal; two black handguns; and a black shotgun, rifle, and sniper rifle.

"Wow, that's a lot of guns..." Tomura commented. He reached out to touch one of them, but Izuku quickly smacked his hand away.

"No way, I'm not letting you touch them. I'm not gonna risk you accidentally shooting yourself in the face with them!" Izuku muttered.

"Hey! I'm not that dumb!" Tomura yelled.

Izuku nodded his head as if going along with a child throwing a tantrum, which made Tomura clench his teeth and sit back down in annoyance. "Little brat..." he mumbled to himself.

Izuku was internally laughing at the man, but his eyes soon returned to Stain's gift.

They were beautiful, and just like Toga's, he could tell they were customised. Absolutely beautiful. He couldn't wait to try them out.

Finally, Izuku accepted the sweets Tomura got him and the self-made blanket Kurogiri handed to him.

These gifts were quite nice and made Izuku thank them with a bright smile. The two males couldn't help smiling back.

After that, Izuku had attacked Dabi with an endless barrage of hugs until they tired themselves out and fell asleep on Dabi's bed.

Toga had joined them at some point, though they didn't notice, and the three teens slept soundly while Tomura and Kurogiri sat in the bar drinking the night away.

_______

Two months passed, and Izuku had finally gotten all of his Quirks under control.

He'd also done something incredible to them – like making some sort of pact, Izuku had managed to seal away his Quirks and made them only available to use under certain conditions.

This way, he wouldn't need to worry about accidentally using them.

However it also made his Quirks a hell of a lot more powerful than they originally were, so he had to spend this last month trying to get them under control so that they could be sealed properly.

His Glitch would only break the seal if someone used their Quirk to control Izuku to put himself in imminent danger. Pocket wasn't under a seal since he wanted to use it for convenience's sake.

Shadow would only break the seal if Izuku was put somewhere without any shadows other than his own (e.g. like a sealed room). Void would only break the seal if someone attempted to possess Izuku.

Lightning Bolt wasn't exactly under a seal, it just had its power capped to about five percent of its strongest output. After all, Izuku didn't want to end up killing people left and right by using too high a percentage of his power by accident. The percentage would increase whenever Izuku's life was in mortal danger.

With that, Izuku had total control over all of his assets, and was prepared to start his life at U.A soon.

...he just had to get through the entrance exams first.

_______

"Izu-kun! We're taking the exam in different places!" Toga said softly.

They had just been given the papers that would tell them where they're taking the exam.

Toga was in Battle Center A, whereas Izuku was in Battle Center B.

"Good luck!" she whispered, giving him a hug.

Izuku nodded and hugged her back. "Good luck, Miko-chan!"

Toga's smile widened when she heard Izuku call her by her first nickname. She then rushed off.

Izuku made his way to Battle Center B and waited for the signal to start. A few examinees were talking to each other or standing alone due to nervousness, but Izuku wasn't bothered.

He rechecked what he had on him.

He had the sword Toga gave him strapped to his back, beneath the cloak Dabi gifted him. He had his hood down of course, but the cloak was made of excellent durable material and left a lot of breathable space.

He also wore the black boots that Dabi gave him too, which had shock absorption and a spring boost.

He had a holster on each thigh, a black handgun (from Stain) on his right and crimson dagger (from Toga) on his left. And he had one explosive grenade attached to his belt.

That was all he could get approved, but it was more than enough. Izuku grinned underneath the black mask he had on.

The moment he heard "Okay–" from Present Mic, Izuku had already leapt from his position and fled through the crack in the opening door.

After Present Mic finished his "–start!" he heard the rest of the participants suddenly come running behind him.

Seeing the first robot come up in front of him, Izuku lunged forward with his hand on his sword.

A crisp "shing!" rang out as Izuku deftly unsheathed the sword and cut off the head of the robot in a single move.

He didn't stop there and continued forward, not lowering his speed for even a second. He was the first participant to gain a point.

Up ahead, Izuku saw the path branch off into two. There was the general wide path that everyone could see, but he noticed the small gap to the right as well.

This alleyway was big enough to hold a two-pointer, but it wasn't obvious at all.

Taking a gamble, Izuku sped up and darted to the side and into the alleyway.

From behind him, Izuku heard a few gasps. Those people probably saw him disappear and realised there was another path.

Without a glance behind him, Izuku leapt up using the walls of the alleyway and then jumped into the air.

As he was falling down, he saw a two-pointer hidden behind a large dumpster and immediately took out his gun.

With perfect aim, Izuku shot two bullets towards the robot. The first pierced the robot's weakest spot and the second plunged through it's critical point.

That's three points now.

As he landed on top of the robot, Izuku took a moment to analyse the body of the robot. It was easy to tell where the panel to control the robot was but Izuku was figuring out the functions of the robots.

With a massive grin, Izuku nodded his head and took off again.

In the teacher's viewing area, the principal of U.A, Nezu, looked at the screens while sipping some tea. "Any interesting candidates, Aizawa?" he asked.

The man with red eyes and shaggy black hair standing beside the principal hummed non-commitedly as he looked at the participants fighting in the arenas.

"The one in Arena A seems strong, his explosions are quite destructive. There's also a boy in Arena B that's quite fast, I assume he's from the Iida family. Other than that, nobody else has caught my eye yet."

Nezu poured another cup of tea for himself and continued sipping.

"How about the boy who got the first point in Arena B? You know we always watch out for who takes the first point each time," Nezu spoke, a menacing grin etched into his furry white face.

"Oh, I like that kid already, Principal! He used that gun with good control, it seems he has practiced. I wouldn't mind teaching him!" Snipe piped in, a grin of his own hidden underneath his mask.

Aizawa shrugged at them, then turned back to look at the screens.

There was no need to say whether that boy was interesting or not, he'd already caught their attention just by being Quirkless.

However his application for weapons were a welcome surprise. Most, if any, Quirkless kids don't know about that rule.

Or rather, there aren't many Quirkless kids that apply to U.A due to their Quirk status, and thus they don't bother to check or search the rules.

But, that wasn't the only thing that interested Aizawa.

This student had applied for several courses, which isn't uncommon since students tend to apply for more than one course in the school they would really like to go to.

However the students usually applied for other courses after the results of the Hero Course examination were out.

This course was the most popular and therefore it's exams took place a few weeks before the other courses to give students, who didn't make the cut, a chance to apply for another course. Yet this student already applied for the courses he wanted...

Usually that would mean the student wasn't confident in their ability to succeed in any one course, but from the looks of him right now, the boy was having fun as he eased his way through the examination. It interested Aizawa.

"Honestly, shouldn't we make it clearer that those with weak or no Quirks can apply to bring weapons or gear to help them? Barely any student knows about that rule for some reason, so we're actually losing a lot of applicants along the way. It would be better if they knew they at least had a chance!" Midnight exclaimed from her seat, heaving a sigh and drinking more of her coffee.

"They would know that rule if they bothered to do even a little research," Aizawa grumbled.

Midnight glanced at him before rolling her eyes and watching the candidates in Arena A.

Back with Izuku, he'd just slain two three-pointers and a two-pointer at the same time, bringing his current points up to seventy-eight. All of a sudden, the ground trembled and a few screams could be heard.

Izuku turned around and saw a bunch of participants running away. When he looked up, he saw the enormous robot destroying buildings as it made its way towards them.

For a moment, just for a moment, his heart stuttered.

But then he grinned. This was a challenge worth taking on– wait, wasn't this the zero-pointer?

Izuku sighed. There was no reason for him to defeat this useless robot.

Just as he was about to turn around and look for other robots that would bring in more points, Izuku heard a girl's scream in the direction of the robot.

"Oya? I thought everyone had already run away from it by now," Izuku said to himself.

His lips twitched at the idea of there being a reason for him to utterly annihilate this robot.

When he looked past the dust, he surveyed the area and saw a brunette trapped beneath some debris with the zero-pointer barely steps away from crushing her.

He saw the tears in her eyes as she looked at her broken leg and the beast standing behind her.

He saw the hope fading away quickly as fear took its place.

"Mn, it looks like there is a reason for me to destroy this robot after all," Izuku said calmly to himself.

With barely a second thought, Izuku dashed forward and used the buildings on either side of the robot to jump up to where its control panel was.

Before that, he'd thrown his sword in a horizontal arc and allowed it to pierce through the debris covering the girl.

As she slowly crawled out of the space he created by having his sword wedged into the ground, thereby removing the smaller bricks and holding up the larger debris, Izuku used the spring boost in his boots to jump higher.

He took out his gun and shot at all the weak spots he'd noticed of the robot, although it took two to three bullets to pierce through even one point since the robot's armour was incredibly hard and thick.

He grit his teeth in annoyance.

When he got to the top of the robot, Izuku grabbed onto it and swung down to the panel.

He grabbed his sharp dagger and used it to stab into the robot's thick surface, pulling out some wires as he crawled closer to the panel.

After ensuring that he won't fall to his death, Izuku used the dagger to open up the panel and got to work shutting down the robot.

As much as he would love to make the robot self-destruct, he couldn't allow that to happen here as the buildings nearby would be destroyed and fall down onto the girl, or at the very least block her path.

Not only that, the robot itself would fall forwards from the way it was standing, rather than back, so it would crush the girl anyways.

With a sigh, Izuku pulled out some useless wires and let them fall to the ground as they got in his way of disabling the robot. If the robot just shut down, it would stop in place, therefore not risking the buildings or the girl as all possible movement is halted.

Barely half a minute later, Izuku cut across three thick wires and heard the robot shutting down. When he looked down, he gulped at the scene of the robot's foot already having begun to descend to the area where the brunette previously was.

It was a good thing he thought to use his sword to give her an opening and escape, whether he could or couldn't stop the robot she would have been saved or at least accumulated less injuries if she could get even a little bit further from the robot's reach.

And with that over and done with, Izuku sheated his dagger and began crawling to the robot's shoulder, slowly untangling himself from the wires along the way. They were a good improvised harness, he had to say.

He got to the top and jumped to the roof of a nearby building that didn't look like it was on the verge of collapsing.

Then he heard Present Mic's voice yell out "one minute left!"

With a smirk, Izuku jumped off the top of the building. He grabbed his dagger and dug it into the side of the building as he fell, using it to slow his descent safely.

When he almost reached the bottom, he took out his dagger and back flipped off the building onto the ground safely.

Ignoring the stunned silence from the rest of the participants, who were still shocked someone had defeated the zero-pointer, Izuku grabbed his sword and ran as fast as he could towards the east.

He parkoured across and around the buildings until he saw the group of robots he noticed when he was atop the zero-pointer.

There were about six one-pointers, three two-pointers, and two three-pointers. He heard Present Mic taking in a deep breath, like he was preparing to speak, so within that second Izuku quickly threw and released the grenade he'd kept on his belt.

Half a step later, Izuku jumped into a nearby building and hid behind the cement wall while covering his face with his cloak.

A loud explosion went off, drowning out the beginning of Present Mic's words, and then everything settled down.

As Izuku looked around the corner and broken walls to see the group of robots all destroyed, he faintly heard Present Mic's voice in the background saying "...up!"

With a cheeky grin, Izuku realised that he scored some more points in the final seconds of the exam.

Even though he probably didn't need it, it was fun and these robots got his blood boiling.

'Oh gosh, I'm lusting for blood and battle like Stain and Toga,' Izuku thought to himself pitifully. Maybe he's been hanging out with them too much.

With a sigh, Izuku got up from the ground and started peacefully making his way back to the entrance of Battle Center B.

When he got there, he noticed an old lady going around healing participants and giving out gummy sweets.

His eyes glittered with sudden interest and his hand twitched out of habit.

It was the Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl! Oh, he really wanted to ask her some questions but he knew now wasn't an appropriate time.

As he walked towards the entrance, he heard some of the examinees whispering about him.

"What was that guy?"

"He suddenly jumped at the obstacle."

"...but that was unusual..."

Ignoring them, he made his way to the front. Finally done with the exam, Izuku smiled and dusted himself off as he walked out.

_______

"Izu-kun~!" Toga yelled out, catching the attention of several people nearby. She ran up and jumped onto him, rubbing her cheek against his in delight.

"Izu-kun, how many points did you get? I'm not sure how many we need, but if you didn't get enough I'll definitely ask if I can lend you some!!!"

Izuku chuckled, pulling Toga off of him and then patting her head gently. "I'm sure I have more than enough, the exam was quite easy. However if you don't have enough, I'll be doing the same, not to worry. After all, I'm not joining this course, remember? I got roughly ninety points I think," Izuku replied.

Toga paused and then looked up at Izuku with wide eyes. "Ninety points?! Oh my gosh, Izu-kun you're so amazing!!! Oh wow, I should've known you'd be fine!" Toga squealed, wrapping her arms around him again.

With a sigh, Izuku nudged her slightly and they began walking to the gates of U.A, Toga still clinging to him of course.

"So? How many did you get?" he asked casually.

"Um... I think... uh... maybe... like... fifty points?" Toga hemmed and hawed. She looked unsure.

Izuku laughed and patted her back.

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure however many you got is enough to enter the course. And if it's not..." Izuku's face suddenly darkened, making him appear quite intimidating. "If it's not... I'll just have to make them be enough."

Toga was internally fangirling over how good Izuku looked in that moment, but she quickly got over it and clasped their hands together.

"Let's go home, bestie!" she cheered with a fist in the air. Izuku smiled back.

"Of course, bestie. Time to go home."
