It's been three years since we have our first quest and we are now turned to 15, grampa was shock how big the monster inside the cave, he thought that it's only small manhunters and there's no high level monster, the one the we killed is a variant and the that grow stronger from eating too much.
A lot of things happen after then, we took over grampa's job and became the official hunter of the village that provides meat for everyone. Everyday was fun as we got to venture around the village even the place that was prohibited because its dangerous and monsters roaming around it. From this job alone that we know that the village is in danger, there are many goblin and orc settlements in the forest near our village and the mountain range beyond, there are many strong creature that we had to escape such as harpies and deadly hornets, grampa told us that they can kill level 2 adventurers easily.
From these information alone let us know that grampa is incredibly amazing as he able to protect the village alone. Hearing is different than seeing, our respect to grampa reach sky high. Everyday is fun and exciting, the two of us got to do everything we pleased.
Unfortunately things in life doesn't go as everyone pleases. Grampa died. Uncle Merl found grampa on our house peacefully sleeping while we are out to hunt. He tried to wake him up but he found that grampa doesn't breath anymore. He left us without saying anything. We couldn't believe it. Yesterday grampa just watching us training and sending us off to hunt with a smile. We didn't think that that was the last time we got to see grampa.
"You're too unfair grampa. You said that you will still alive till we get old but you left us without even saying anything to us."
Me and Eu-chan are in front of grampa's grave staring at it. Eu-chan is crying so hard again just like how she cried when granny left us. Beside grampa's grave is granny's. We thought that grampa would love to lay beside granny as he often visit her grave after she died.
We stay here for the whole day to properly bid our farewell to grampa and go back to our house. The house became a bit desolated and empty with only the two of us remaining here.
"Lu-kun..." Eu-chan came to me and leaned her head on my back.
"Hm? What is it Eu-chan?"
"Can you promise that you will never leave me like grampa did." I can feel my back became wet from her tears.
"... Yeah I promise. I will never leave you, we will stay together forever." I turned to face her and hug her. She then cried on my shoulder. Eu-chan never cry even if she got hurt, she would brush of the pain or made a joke out of it, I only see her cry twice, once when granny died and the second one is when grampa died. I swear that I will never make Eu-chan cry again.
We came back to our room after we ate our dinner, it was a silent one and the recollection of when grampa played before my eyes as I look at the now empty sit that our grampa use. He loves to talk while we are eating. I really miss him right now.
Just as I'm about to lay on my bed, I saw a paper in my desk. I opened it and read what was written on it.
"To my beloved grandchildren.
As you read this letter I am probably died right now. I felt that my time is already up and I can feel granny's presence becoming closer like she's calling me. I know that leaving you will hurt you, I also don't want to leave the both of you. I want to live long enough to see you get your own children. But time is unforgiving, everything must come and go.
I teach both of you skills to survive even without me. I want the two of you to explore and follow your dreams. I want the two of you to join a Familia and have a bigger family that will fill up my and granny's place in your heart.
Luciel-chan, I want you to protect your sister and be there for her when she need you the most. Though she loves to act tough she is very fragile inside.
Euriel-chan, I want you to support your brother to the hardship that may came to his life. He is a muscle brain and only move before thinking so be his brain. The two of you only have each other for now until you guys found someone that will share your burden, a family.
I hope that we don't see each other again too early on the other side or I will beat the two of you to death.

P.S. Eu-chan don't tease Luciel-chan so much."
By the time I finish reading the letter my tears already stained my cheeks.
"Lu-kun...?"
I look back and saw Eu-chan on my door.
"Lu-kun why are crying?"
I wiped my tears and didn't answer her, I just gave her the letter of grampa.
She took the letter and start reading it. It didn't take long and she started to cry again.
"Eu-chan you've been crying a lot today, you're face look so funny."
"Idiot Lu-kun, I hate you."
Even though she said that she is smiling as she wiping the tears in her eyes.

"So what should we do? grampa said that we should join a familia." Eu-chan asked me.
Looking at her and remembering the desolation I felt as we entered the house knowing that our grampa is gone, I felt that we really need someone we can be with and a Familia is the best example of that, a Familia is a place where people will climb together and sink together, place where people will guard each other's back and be their backing. A place where all people with a single goal working together to complete it.
"Let's go. Let's do it, joining a Familia." I said determinedly.
"What about our duty? The village isn't safe without us."
"Let's talk to the village chief, I'm sure he will understand us."
"Well then, even if he refuse he doesn't have anything to chain us in this place."
"True. How about we set out tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? that's so fast"
"There's a saying that early bird gets the worm."
"Idiot Lu-kun, that doesn't apply here. It should be "Lets strike while the iron is hot""
"Don't mind the small details." I brush what she said while my cheeks grow hot again.

The next day we went to the village chief's house and told them that we want to go out and explore the world.
"When do you plan to go?"
"We plan to set out this afternoon."
"I see... Gil left us recently without us giving him a proper farewell so at least postpone your plan tomorrow and let us give you a proper one like use to do to send our younger generation to a journey."
The village chief quickly gather the people of the village and the whole village throw a farewell party for us. Our neighbors and childhood friends which the most closed to us cried upon knowing that we will leave the village.
The party started at night and our neighboring uncles drag me to drunk alcohol, while Eu-chan was dragged by their wife aunties.
Throughout the whole night we drunk and dance and wipe the sorrow away.
We woke up at dawn and we sort our belongings and prepare some ration for the journey. We look at our house and reminisce our unforgettable moment in our house before giving the key of our house to uncle Merl.
We went to our usual spot and spar a bit then we went back to meet the villagers to send us off.
Each of them give some gift which we can use on our journey such as horses, after that we gave our goodbyes and left the village while waving our hands at them.

"Where's our destination Eu-chan?"
"Let's go Lauroso town since there is a guild branch there we might be able to find a Familia that will recruit us."
"Mn, should we move faster to get there?"
"I think we should not, we are not in hurry right? besides we are not sure if there's a Familia that really recruiting there and might go to other town or city."
"True. Lets go."
Time passed by and the two of us leisurely travel the road that leads to Lauroso, from time to time we talk about things that we might find in the town since we never been in there and only hear from our grampa's story.
We stopped by the road and find some tree that can shield us from the sun since it's already lunch time and we are not in hurry to just eat a dried ration, we need a proper meal.
While we are waiting we saw someone we know from the village galloping a horse with a high speed.
"Uncle Mark!"
We called out to him and wave him to get his attention. He quickly change his direction towards us, we got to see clearly his appearance, he look like he work at a forge since he is covered in ash.
"Luciel-chan, Euriel-chan, please help the village, we are under attack by a monster."
"A monster?"
"Yes only one monster, it look like a flying bird with two legs and look like a lizard."
Me and Eu-chan look each other before saying the name of the monster.
"A Wyvern!"
We quickly got on horse and gallop all the way to the village, we saw smoke rising sky high and a red wyvern breathing fire from its mouth.
"Eu-chan we must get it's attention to us, uncle Mark please evacuate the villagers and send a help from the town or nearby village, A wyvern is not something the two us can handle yet."
Grampa told us that wyverns are mid to late stage level 2 monster. It's talon and jaw can ripped the body of its prey to shred, plus it has a range attack and can fly.

We left our horse ang got close to the wyvern, me and Eu-chan cast our bolt spell and fire it at the monster, our spell hit the wyvern and got a minimal damage. it roared at us before gliding towards us preparing to catch us with its sharp talons.
Eu-chan put up an 『Ice Wall』 but it was taken down by the wyvern as it land in front of us. The wyvern swiped its tail towards us. but I used my sword to block its attack. Yes, my sword was able to block it.
At first we find it hard to believe that other than how beautiful and cool the sword that we found on the spider's nest, the sword is pretty durable and sharp.
Grampa said that our sword might be an artifact, an indestructible tool made by god or contains the power of god.
We proved how durable the sword is using different methods and it is really indestructible but we didn't see anything special with it other than that its indestructability.
