Even though I successfully blocked the tail attack I was still sent a few meters at the back. Eu-chan shoot Ice bolt at the head of the wyvern but she didn't manage to hit the eyes of it and only made it angry.
I dash off and get close to the wyvern while its distracted and slash it with my sword, my sword was able to cut the membrane of its wing. With its wing damage it will not be able to fly properly and it won't gonna have its advantage of flying around.
The wyvern tried to bite me, I quickly dodge its jaw and fired a Fire Bolt on its head.
The wyvern staggers for a bit and fired a flaming breath at us, Eu-chan use Ice Wall to cover herself while I run towards it while avoiding its breath. I got closer to the wyvern and lunge at it with my sword targeting the heart of it.
"Lu-kun dodge!"
I heard Eu-chan's scream but it was already too late. A second wyvern appeared and tackeld my body. My body was thrown in the air and rolled like a ragged doll to the ground. My body is hurting from that attack but I got quickly got up. I then saw that we are not just dealing one wyvern but five wyverns.
Three of them already land on the ground surrounding the two of us while two other circling on the sky above us.
I retreated at Eu-chan's side.
"Lu-kun what should we do?"
Eu-chan nervously ask me.
"There's nothing we can do but to fight for our lives now. Eu-chan if you see a chance go run away and leave me behind."
"I will not gonna leave you behind even if i have to cut your limbs I will take you with me."
"Figures, I know you will say that, that's I ask you if you see a chance we might not be able to survive."
"Don't think too much, just fight to survive."
We got on battle stance as we have each others back.
"Lu-kun, I will buy you some time and block the other wyverns while you kill the one that you had cut earlier."
"Can you even do that."
"Just do what I say."
"Got it."
I don't know how she's going to block the other wyverns but I have the feeling that she can do it.
I dash on the one that i had been battling earlier. The wyvern react as it saw me moving towards it and prepared to fire a fire breath. I use fire bolt and fire it towards it mouth as soon as it opens it mouth to fire its breath. The wyvern choke as the fire bolt exploded in its mouth and I lundge at it while its staggering and thrust my sword in its heart, this time I succeeded and stabbed the heart of the wyvern, it shriek for a bit and use its final strength to bite me but I twisted my sword and it finally died.
I look back to see Eu-chan's situation, she was able to imprison the four of them together by luring all of them in one place but it didn't took that long and they break the Ice Wall cage.
"Lu-kun did you finish it off?"
"Yeah, now four more to go. Can you imprison the three of them together again? I want to kill one more."
"I'll try."
Eu-chan put a distance on us and fired three ice bolt on three wyverns. She successfully draw their attention while I fired two firebolt in succession on the remaining one. I too successfuly draw its attention and it flew towards me, I greet its talon with my sword, I was push back due to its weight but it withdrawn its foot immediately, it must've got its feet cut by my sword.
"Iyaah"
I was about to lunge at the wyvern and tried to finish it off but I heard Eu-chan scream. I look back and saw that Eu-chan was only able to contain two of the wyverns while the other one is attacking her with its talons.
"Arghh" While I was distracted the wyvern bit my shoulder, I wave my sword and got a clean cut on its chest but not enough to kill it off as it flaps its wing and distance itself from me.
Blood gushes out on the large holes made by wyvern's tooth on my shoulder. I endured the pain and move my body on the endured wyvern, the wyvern was about to fire off a breath but I'm faster than it and I separate its head out from its body.
I felt a bit light headed, this is the first time I became injured like this so bad, and the the wound is aching but I have to help Eu-chan. Eu-chan is currently facing the other two that she imprisoned earlier and the one she missed.
I fired fire bolt rapidly in order to take their attention off from Eu-chan to me. The wyverns staggered from the explosion cause by my fire bolt, my attack only blown some pieces of their scale and get their attention to me.
Eu-chan took the chance and beheaded one of them, just like my sword, her sword is also on the same tier of mine, the two of been avoiding to use these sword to fight each other as they are incredibly sharp.
Now the we only have 2 wyverns left.
Lu-kun are you alright? your wounds...
"I'm fine, I can still fight. What about you, you been casting of your spell since earlier."
"I'm pretty low now, I can use about 2 more times, 3 and i'll get mind down."
This time, Eu-chan is telling the truth, I notice that me and Eu-chan have strange connection and there's a time I could tell her thought without her speaking.
"Eu-chan do we fight them one on one or fight them together?"
Let's fight them together, you are injured. I fear that something would go wrong if you fought another one by yourself. This time I'll be the one on the front and use your spell to provide me support.
Eu-chan run towards the two wyvern without letting me aggree to her plan.
"It can't be help."
I casted a firewall between the two wyverns to separate them then I fired at them rapidly not letting them to to move. I felt my mana drain up on my body in incredibly rate, I never had the chance to let our this much spells even in our training.
Eu-chan cast her last two spell and time it with mine, our spell created a mist upon contact does it blocks the sight of the wyverns, her body engulf by the mist and she disappeared inside it. I am at the distance so I can still clearly see the position of two wyverns so I didn't stop firing at them, my only concern is Eu chan might got hit by my spell.
Eu-chan attack one of them and it shriek, I stopped firing to the she's facing to avoid getting her hurt by my spell and focus on other one. The wyverns backpedaled from my attack, the can't even use their wings to fly or they'll fall to the ground.
Soon after Eu-chan came back to my side after she killed the other wyvern. I also stop attacking with my spell because I'm out of mana.
Without any magic to use, we are now to face the last wyvern.

I don't know how long we have been fighting the last wyvern, the fight took longer than expected and the last wyvern is just too hard to fight with my current condition, my whole body is soak in blood, my movement got sluggish and the sword on my hand felt heavy, my body also starting to get cold. Without the support of magic, Eu-chan and I wasn't able to find chance to kill it, we are able to deal damage to it with our sword but as the time goes by, it was able to react on our attack and dodge by jumping back then it will attack us with its tail or fire breath. It wasn't able to fly thanks to Eu-chan, she was able to cut the wyverns wing membrane to prevent it to fly but in exchange she took a blow on her body by its tail attack.
"Eu-chan, follow me, I'll create an oportunity for you to kill it."
With the last strength of my body I run towards the wyvern with Eu-chan. The wyvern fired a flame breath but we dodge it. when we are near it it jump backwards and fired again, that is what I have been waiting for.
"Eu-chan it's up to you now."
I gathered the last of my mana and fired it in its mouth, as soon as I did it. My mind goes blank and I fell unconscious.
When I came into conscious I felt something soft and heavy leaning in both of my shoulder and alluring smell struck my nose. I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar ceiling, I look down and saw two hands on my chest one coming from the left and othe one coming from the right. I look to my left and saw Eu-chan hugging me, then I look to the right and saw an unfamiliar woman, she looks pretty and she has a nice smell. I move my body to get up but the two people woke up due to my movements.
"Mngh... Lu...kun?" Eu-chan said as she look at me with eyes still half open.
"Good morning Eu-chan." I greet.
Eu-chan blink for a moment trying to open her eyes "Lu-kun! you're finally awake!"
Eu-chan hugged me and cried. I let her cry on my shoulder as she doesn't look like crying in sorrow but in happiness.
After some moment, Eu-chan stop hugging me and she wipe her tears.
I'm glad, It's been a week since you fell unconscious I thought you would also leave me just like granny and grampa.
"A week? I really slept that long? Where are we now? What happen to the village, the monsters?"
"The villagers is safe, but the village is no more, we have defeated the monsters but the fire that it started destroyed the whole village. Right now we are on an in Louroso Town"
"The village is no more... then our house, granny and gram belongings are..."
"Yeah, the wyverns also destroyed it."
Then that means all the remembrance that our grandparents are gone. I stared at the wall as I process the news that Eu-chan gave me for a moment, then I suddenly remember the girl that was hugging me while sleeping. I look to the side, she is already sitting on the chair just beside the bed.
"That's right I forgot to introduce you her-"
"Wait, let me introduce myself. I'm Athena the goddess of Wisdom and War."
