Seeing Richard attack, Mu Konni was alarmed. She didn't fully understand the means by which Richard had killed Suo Men in a moment, but she definitely did not want to share Suo Men's fate. The effects of the Spirit Shock had not yet completely dissipated, and the backlash from forcibly casting a First Circle Mid-level Spell was still at play. As Richard came closer and closer, she gritted her teeth and could only barely manage to cast a rather weak First Circle Low-level Spell.

A fierce wind suddenly rose, and the air swiftly converged around Mu Konni, entwining near her and flowing quickly, forming an almost spherical defensive body, much like water currents.

This was originally a spell used to bind enemies, but Mu Konni had instead used it on herself. The advantage of doing so was that it could defend from attacks in all directions, and unless the spell was unraveled, she would not be touched at all.
