In the sprawling manor, life bustled with quiet efficiency. Guards patrolled the perimeter with unwavering vigilance, while a group of children practiced swordsmanship with some veteran mercenaries under the watchful eyes of Knight Greem. (Image)
The mansion's lord, Leylin, remained a mysterious and distant figure, but those who served him lived content and disciplined lives.
Inside the master bedroom, Leylin reclined on an ornate couch, his toned upper body exposed. Two beautiful women massaged his legs while a blonde beauty gently stroked his head.
"Young Master, the people from the medicine shop delivered the herbs as you requested," the blonde Anna reported softly.
"Take them to my lab. I'll be there shortly," Leylin replied without opening his eyes.
Anna nodded respectfully and left the room, while Leylin allowed himself a few more moments of indulgence before rising and donning his black robe. (Image)
In the dimly lit experiment lab, wooden crates filled with herbs and plants cluttered the space. The air was thick with the aroma of dried roots and fresh stems. Yellow paper notes marked each bundle, detailing the names and properties of the herbs. (Image)
Leylin stepped inside and swept his gaze across the chaotic room. "A.I. Chip, begin recording the properties of all herbs."
[Beep! Command received. Initiating data extraction.]
A faint blue screen flickered before his eyes as the A.I. Chip scanned each crate, meticulously recording the details of every herb. Lines of data streamed across the screen, storing information on the origin, effects, and potential uses of each plant.
Time passed, and the lab's light dimmed further. Leylin reached for a Sunlight Rock and activated it, bathing the room in bright white light.
"This will do," he murmured, satisfied with the improved visibility.
Leylin picked up a brown-green fruit from one of the crates and pressed his finger against its surface. "A.I. Chip, extract data."
[Beep! Data extraction in progress…]
In seconds, the A.I. Chip responded.
[Name: Guss Fruit. Origin: Zither Forest. Uses: Mild pain relief and numbing effect. Data stored.]
Leylin smiled. "Good. Again."
He moved on to a dried stem, then a handful of leaves, and continued through the vast collection of herbs. His goal was simple but ambitious: to create a life-nourishing potion that would accelerate the growth of knights without using precious magical ingredients.
Leylin's eyes gleamed with determination. As an apprentice under Kroft, he had already recorded most of the herbs used by Potioneering Masters. However, the A.I. Chip lacked data on herbs commonly used by ordinary people. By filling this gap, he could potentially substitute expensive magical ingredients with mundane ones, reducing costs and maximizing efficiency.
"This is the perfect way to build my own Knight force," Leylin thought. "If I can accelerate the growth of Grand Knights and eventually push them toward the ancient path of Branded Swordsmen, I'll have an army capable of rivaling a Rank 1 Magus."
The A.I. Chip's capabilities allowed him to analyze countless combinations of medicinal properties and simulate potential results. However, practical experimentation was still necessary to verify the data and increase success rates.
Time slipped away as Leylin immersed himself in his research. The quiet of the lab was occasionally broken by the sound of herbs being crushed, ground, or dissolved in various solutions.
Two days later, Leylin stood in the now disheveled lab, his face illuminated with satisfaction.
[Beep! 3,213 types of herbs successfully stored in the databank. Would you like to create a separate folder?]
"Combine them with the data on herbs used by ordinary humans," Leylin instructed.
[Folder created. Transferring simulation models to databank.]
Leylin exhaled deeply. "Next, I'll begin analyzing the combinations and testing the effects. If I succeed, then potentially in the future I can modify the recipe so that I can also accelerate the transformation of ordinary knights into Grand Knights, and perhaps even push them toward the ancient path of Branded Swordsmen."
Branded Swordsmen were legendary warriors recorded in ancient texts that even most powerful acolytes feared. Though slightly weaker than a Rank 1 Magus, they possessed unparalleled physical might and combat instincts. If Leylin could create an army of such beings, his control over the region would be absolute.
With this thought, Leylin's eyes gleamed coldly. He would dominate not through brute force, but through careful manipulation and control. His future empire would rise from the shadows, and no Magus or noble would dare stand in his way.
The experiment had only just begun, but Leylin was patient. He had time. He had knowledge. And most importantly, he had the A.I. Chip.
As the candles flickered and the Sunlight Rock cast eerie shadows on the walls, Leylin's hands moved with precision, mixing herbs, crushing seeds, and distilling potent essences.
With every successful extraction, the future of the life nourishing potion drew closer to reality.
In this dimly lit lab, beneath the watchful eyes of ancient texts and forgotten knowledge, a new path was being forged—one that would challenge the current foundation of the Magus World.
...
In the master bedroom of his manor, Leylin Farlier, lay in quiet satisfaction. The morning sun barely seeped through the heavy, ornate curtains, casting shadows across the luxurious chamber.
The two enchanting naked figures lying beside him, Rede and Shera, his personal maids, remained silent, their faces flushed from an intense session, as they rested against the silk sheets.
Leylin's gaze shifted to the ceiling as he pondered his next steps. He had indulged himself in the pleasures of the flesh, asserting dominance over those who willingly served him, and now, his mind returned to the endless pursuit of knowledge and power.
With a sigh, he rose from the bed, his bare, muscular body catching the dim light as he moved toward the bathroom.
The sound of splashing water echoed softly as he lay down in a tub, washing away the remnants of indulgence. His mind, however, remained sharp, already calculating the experiments he would conduct today.
After a simple yet nutritious breakfast, Leylin descended into the depths of his laboratory. The room was filled with shelves of herbs, ancient tomes, and alchemical tools. The air was thick with the scent of exotic plants and strange reagents.
On the long, blackened workbench, several beakers and flasks bubbled with strange liquids. Leylin's eyes narrowed as he carefully measured a crimson powder and added it to a light-blue solution in the beaker before him.
"A.I. Chip," Leylin commanded, "record this: Test 210, items of substitution: Bloodthorn Root and Moonlit Fern."
[Recording complete.]
The A.I. Chip, embedded within Leylin's soul, responded with mechanical efficiency, capturing every detail of the reaction.
The yellow flame beneath the beaker flickered as the mixture began to bubble, shifting through hues of red and blue. Leylin observed intently, his eyes gleaming with curiosity and ambition.
Using mundane herbs to replicate the effects of magic ingredients was a daunting challenge. Without the A.I. Chip's ability to simulate tens of thousands of scenarios, such experimentation would be nearly impossible. The cost of rare magical ingredients alone would have drained his resources.
Crash!
The powder dissolved entirely, and the liquid turned a translucent blue. Leylin's heart raced. This was the critical moment.
With practiced precision, he stirred the mixture counter-clockwise with a tin spoon, adding a few drops of an amber-colored potion. The liquid shimmered as tiny bubbles formed, stretching and expanding within the beaker.
Leylin remained calm, his movements swift and precise. From a nearby petri dish, he retrieved a white pearl and dropped it into the beaker.
Pi Pa!
The pearl dissolved instantly, and the liquid became crystal clear.
[Beep! Life Nourishing Potion has been created!] (Image)
The A.I. Chip's analysis filled Leylin's mind:
[Effect: Enhances knight training. Suitable for knight apprentices and preparatory knights. Limited effect on true knights. Side effect: Draws life energy from the user's meditation technique, reducing lifespan. The better the technique, the higher the resistance to the side effect.]
Leylin's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "Success..."
He had spent countless hours and resources perfecting this formula. For ordinary potion masters, creating a potion that could enhance physical training of a knight was a waste of effort, but for Leylin, who had further vision it was a necessary tool. As for the side effect of decreasing life span, Leylin obviously ignored it some sacrifice needs to me made for greater purist of power.
With this potion, he could rapidly train his loyal subordinates, turning them into powerful knights. Even if their lifespan was shortened, Leylin cared little. What mattered was power and control.
As the day passed, Leylin buried himself in further experiments. The A.I. Chip continued to assist him in running simulations, allowing him to avoid countless failures and refine his methods with terrifying efficiency.
When the sun finally set, Leylin emerged from the lab, his robes faintly stained with traces of alchemical residue. Rede and Shera awaited him in the dining hall, their expressions filled with quiet reverence and submission.
Leylin smirked slightly. These women had long since submitted to him, not merely out of lust but out of fear and awe for his growing power. They were tools, much like the potions he created, serving his ambitions.
As he enjoyed a quiet dinner, his mind drifted to the future. With the Life Nourishing Potion perfected, he can stimulate the growth of kids practicing in the manor, but for them to reach a satisfactory level for him to verify his theories, it would still take some time but fortunately he didn't lack time currently.
In the shadows of the Magus World, where strength and cunning ruled supreme, Leylin Farlier was steadily weaving his web of dominance—one experiment, one soul, and one step closer to immortality at a time.
