[Clang!]
[Ding]
Sirus immediately stood up and went into a defensive position, with both of his arms in front of his face with his fist touching his cheeks, he looked right and left trying to figure where he was, his eyes slightly widened and took a sigh as he relaxed his tense body.
"Right, I remember, I'm keeping these humans hostage." He spoke as he shook his head as he glanced at the bookshelf blocking the door. He leans his left shoulder against the bookshelf as he moves his right hand and places it in front of his lower chest and with one swift motion, he pushes the bookshelf away from the door, with somewhat ease again. He pulls down on the door handle and sees the father again with his arms at either side, with his wife sitting down on the bed and the daughter in front of the bed, away from her parents. As Sirus was about to say something, the girl tried to run out of the door, but Sirus saw this pitiful attempt to escape and grabbed the girl with ease as he held her throat and slowly lifted her up like she weighed close to nothing.
"Now, now, what do we have here?" Sirus examined the girl up and down, whilst keeping an eye out to the guy.
The father tries to stop the creature from hurting his daughter but the creature with his eyes looked straight into his eyes as if he was staring down at his soul, and with a point of his left hand he pointed at him and his wife.
'Now that I think about it, the little girl was probably hungry, or she was trying to escape. What should I do?' He thought as he looked at the daughter struggling to breathe, Sirus noticed this and threw her at the bed as her mother gasped and caught her. Sirus leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed.
"As long as I block the front door, they shouldn't be able to escape unless they have a back entrance, I will let them eat for now and then after I will figure out what to do with them."
With that, he pointed his finger again at the father and pointed at the door behind him. Jacob looked over at his wife whos weeping as she saw her daughter's neck bruised red from the monster strangling her. He wanted to desperately escape but he knew if he made one mistake, his entire family would be slaughtered. So with that, he nodded at the creature with caution and held her wife's hand as the daughter was in her mother's arms. The creature walked beside the door and watched as they moved out of the room.
The father didn't know where to go as the creature just pointed out of the door. He looked back and saw the creature right against his back. With fear his eyes widened, the creature grinned and chuckled or what it looked like was a chuckle. The creature took a step back as it enjoyed their reaction.
"Damn this monster! He's playing with us."
Sirus chuckled at the comment as he could understand every word they spoke. He looked around and saw another door to his left and to his right saw another door.
"Might as well check what's behind these two doors." He spoke out loud as the humans couldn't understand him either way.
As he first went to the door to the left and opened it and saw a bed in the corner with pink sheets and a white pillow, a small chest in front of the bed and a wardrobe to the right of the room, he noted this was the girl's room, plain and boring as he expected. He closed the door and went to the other door, but as he was about to enter the room there was another door right beside the door to his left which he couldn't see before. He noted and would check later. He returned to the humans cuddled up in fear.
"Just a bathroom and an office of some kind, probably the fathers man cave, sigh, you three are ridiculous, you're so scared that you could literally piss your pants." Sirus laughed as he pointed at the bathroom than at the stairs, he gave a glance with a hint of a devilish smile and walked down the stairs, leaving the family to do whatever they wanted.
…
"Is it gone?" Exclaimed the father as he looked at his wife and daughter with fearful eyes.
"Papa, I can't hold it anymore, I really need to go." Bella said as her knees touched together.
Jacob thought for a second before answering. "Okay, you can go but come back quickly." He said as he slightly smiled. Bella rushed to the bathroom and slammed the door behind.
His wife looked over at Jacob with awe. "Why did you let her go?" She said as she glanced at the bathroom.
"This monster, no, this creature is intelligent, he must have figured out that it was a bathroom, didn't you notice how he pointed at the bathroom then the stairs? He must have allowed us to use the bathroom." His wife looked at Jacob's worried face and nodded as she sat down on the floor. A few minutes passed and Bella finished, she walked out of the room with a relaxed and relieved expression. She stopped and looked at the staircase before she lifted her head slightly up and sniffed. She smiled widely and she licked her lips and rushed down the stairs.
"BELLA!" Jacob yelled as he ran down the stairs after her.
Jacob hurriedly ran down the stairs and reached the kitchen, his vision was hazy from the sudden quick movement, he touched his head. His eyes wide like saucers when he saw Bella standing quietly next to the creature with her hands behind her as she rocked back and forth on her heels. Bella turned around with an amused expression and spoke.
"Papa! The monster is cooking eggs." She said as she looked back at the monster.
"It's. Cooking? Eg-Eggs?" He stuttered as he couldn't believe what he just heard. He quickly sniffed the air and indeed smelled eggs cooking.
"This child is an idiot if she thinks I'm going to cook her some as well. Cook your own eggs human, tsk." He reached out his hand and opened a cabinet and pulled out a wooden plate with a wooden spoon. He looked at the table and grabbed half a bread as he pulled it apart. He glanced at the father whose mouth was wide opened as well his eyes. He laughed and grabbed a chair and dragged it and placed it in front of the door as he sat down looking towards the kitchen as he blocked the front door. Shortly after the mother came down the stairs slowly as one of her hands were holding her knee and the other was holding the wall as she slowly and quietly reached the kitchen.
"Who's cooking?" She asked with confusion as her old eyes laid on the monster to the left, sitting against the door with a wooden plate filled with eggs and bread on the side. She then looked over at the stove as she saw he placed wood and guessed the monster cooked the eggs himself. And what was more surprising was he didn't make a single mess beside the cracked eggs sitting on top of the table.
"D-Did the monster cook the eggs?" She said as she tapped Jacobs shoulder, turning him around.
"I-I think the creature just used our stove and cooked the eggs." Jacob replied as his head was bursting from all the shock and confusion.
Bella, who was expecting food from the monster, crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks as she stared at the monster eating quietly.
"Bella, don't look at the monster, you don't want it to be angry. I will cook you some eggs and bacon, your favourite." She said as she smiled and walked over to the stove and started cooking without caring much about the monster who just used the stove.
Jacob was even more surprised now as his wife who was absolutely terrified at the creature earlier, now cooking without a care in the world. "You're just going to ignore the creature who just cooked eggs and now you're cooking?" He exclaimed as he looked over at the creature with a dumbfounded face.
"Oh, what do you think? If it wanted to kill us, he could have done it the moment he saw us. Now sit down and eat your food." She said as she placed their food on the table.
"Oh, ya… Right."
"Why does everything in this world taste so nice? Sigh, secondly how are they all mushy and relaxed with me blocking the exit? There's no other door besides this one so…? Argh, this is making my brain hurt from all this thinking. I could just leave." Sirus spoke out loud as he slouched in his chair. For a good long minute staring into nothingness with a dumbfounded expression before speaking.
"Yeah fuck it, There's no point in staying here. Especially with these weirdos who are suddenly all happy and eating with their eggs stuffed in their mouths like idiots. If I stay here a minute longer I'm going to be dumb like them."
Before Sirus could move the chair and open the door to his freedom and escape this idiotic family, The girl ran and grabbed his pants while looking up in wonder.
"What the fuck do you want?" He saw her poking his upper body. "Oh, right, might as well take a shirt while I'm at it." Sirus tried to move but the girl kept a hold of him. The father tried to move away his daughter. But he was too scared to come near the creature.
Sirus sigh and started to tickle the little girl with his knuckle to prevent hurting the girl with his razor-sharp claws. The girl finally let go and Sirus took this moment to go up the stairs and look for any shirts to take before he left for his journey.
"Aww, look they were playing for a second." Exclaimed the wife with a happy expression.
Jacob, who heard his wife speak, pulls his hair apart. 'I think I'm going crazy!
…
Sirus entered the room that he locked the family last night, but didn't see a wardrobe and went to the father's man cave.
"Seriously no wardrobe as well? Just a desk and a bookshelf probably filled with shit." He turned around and again the girl bumped into him. He was about to pick her up by the neck again to teach her a lesson but she pulled a shirt from behind her and handed it to Sirus with a wide grin. Sirus stared at the girl with a dumbfounded look and rolled his eyes and grabbed the shirt and walked downstairs.
"This shall do, now I better leave before she stops me again." Sirus bumped into someone again and thought it was the girl somehow again but he bumped into the father, Sirus looked up in slight fear but didn't show it. 'This guy is freakin tall damn.'
Jacob noticed he bumped into the creature and with shock all written on his face, he subconsciously took a step back with his arms up in front of him.
Sirus's mana started flaring up in anger as he kept bumping into this family.
He flicked the shirt on his right shoulder and walked out of the door and walked forward without looking back. "What is wrong with this fucking family. holy fucking shit! Tsk, whatever looks like this is where I washed up, I'll just jump across the river and walk to the other side.
If I flowed down the river then all I have to do is follow the river to find my village." As Sirus walked towards the river he wore the shirt, it was black in colour but slightly baggy. "She must have taken this from her father. It's baggy but I'm sure I will grow into it." Sirus reached the river and looked to his left and right.
"Right side it is then. I'm not sure how long it will take for me to reach my village but that doesn't matter now." Sirus followed the opposite of where the river flowed from and walked towards the village, his home, or at least what's left of it.
