16th August 1663
Simhasana Bhavana, imperial capital Bengaluru, Akhand Bharatiya Empire.
Vijay stood behind a tall glass window as he eyed the newly constructed clock tower on the banks of the Ulsoor Lake.
'How the times have passed.' he sighed, In a matter of a decade, the Bharatiya Empire has gone from being just another typical eastern country with a lot of people but without a lot of strength, to the most powerful and technologically advanced entity in the world. Technology that was supposed to be invented in the 18th or even 19th century could be seen readily in the Bharatiya Empire.
Thinking about what he had managed to achieve, Vijay couldn't help but feel a little proud. A few minutes later, Vijay got back to his seat; he had a very busy day ahead of him.
He opened the intelligence reports of the day prior, wanting to see what had happened in the empire. This is sort of like Vijay's newspaper, albeit a bit more detailed and a bit too classified.
