"I'll miss you too, my son." Nie cried as she hugs Rem. She always wanted to stay with Rem but being the Alpha's wife has many responsibilities. She needs to sacrifice things that other mothers can't.
Kai joined in the hug and let out a heavy sigh to release some of his heavy feelings. He was disappointed in himself for putting his family in this situation, but he has no choice in this. He can run away from his responsibilities but then he'll be consumed by guilt and shame.
"We... We should get going, Nie." Kai says making Nie nod.
"Take care, Kein. I'll make it up to you in the future, I promise." Kai whispered as he walks together with the others. Nie looked at Rem one last time and reluctantly walked away with the group afterward.
"Stay safe, Ven! You too, Sean!" Hane suddenly shouted surprising the two and making them smile.
"Let's go back, Hane." Rem said as he walks away with Spike. The wyvern didn't understand a thing and just yawned at them.
"Mn!" Hane nods as she runs after Rem.
"My little Kein, come over here. I want to talk to you." Oro waves at them when they passed by her house.
"Yes, Grandma."
They went inside Oro's house and sat down at one of the chairs in her living room.
"Since the bratty Sean is gone, I have a proposal for you." Elder Oro says.
"What is it, Grandma?"
"I want to teach you about healing, I felt that your body contains magic in it. I'm sure you'll be able to heal like me and Hane." Oro explains. Rem only sighs and cast a Freeze Spell at Spike.
"Wha-! What!? When did you learn how to cast the Freeze Spell!?" Oro stood up with her cane in shock. Hane just sat still with her mouth open. Rem decided to show her this since he didn't want to waste time pretending as if he didn't know what she'll teach him.
"Well, I was practicing while others are not looking, Grandma. I also know some other spells." Rem answered shocking the two further.
"I... I can't believe it. You, you're really the treasure of this tribe. Never mention this kind of talent to the other tribespeople, for now, little Kein, and you too, Hane." Oro said with a serious face making the two nod.
"Tell me every spell you know, little Kein. This way I'll know which spells I'll be needing to teach you next. I'll also teach you how to wield the spear too, I'm a great user of the spear. I have an A Mastery Level in it, so you'll surely learn a lot from me. But, I can't strain my body too much since I'm old, so we'll be only doing spear training for an hour with the other kids of the tribe. As for the spell lessons, I'll be teaching you in the afternoon." Oro explains. The tribespeople already agreed to let their children learn how to use weapons. Oro volunteered herself in teaching the kids since she knows a bit about how to use a spear.
The tribe decided that the spear is the perfect weapon to train with since it can make the kids attack at a safer distance compared to the axe and sword. They first thought about teaching archery but that would be too hard for the kids, and some of the kids might have poor eyesight making them useless in learning archery.
"Alright, Grandma." Rem then proceeded to tell the spells he knows which continued to shock Oro and Hane as he demonstrate it by using Spike's body. The poor wyvern wasn't hurt in any way since Rem demonstrated his healing spells with Hane's body. She volunteered in doing that by injuring herself with a tiny wound.
"Genius! No, a prodigy!" Oro excitedly said as she envisions how far the tribe will go with Rem's existence.
'I must make sure that little Kein will be protected well and be nurtured to the best of my abilities. His talents should be hidden as long as we can. The king must not know about this, or little Kein will be enslaved by the country.' Oro thought while looking at Rem.
"You both should go home and rest. I'll see you tomorrow for your lessons. Hane, you'll be joining with the training as well. It's about time you learn how to protect yourself." Hane nods at this since she also knows that she needs to learn how to protect herself.

"I still can't believe the announcement that Alpha made yesterday." One of the tribespeople said as Rem passes by.
"Do you really think that a war will emerge in a few years?"
"I don't know, but if that is what the Alpha says then it should be true. He is more knowledgeable of the outside world than any of us."
Rem wasn't bothered by them gossiping since it's a common occurrence. He wasn't worried about the war either since it will come after many years. What he was worried about is the internal conflict that the concubines will cause. He was worried about what they could do to his tribe. They can't oppose and not pick sides on them since Garon might punish them for disrespecting one of his concubines.
'In the game, Garon is known to be a lover. He might have concubines but he loves them all equally and cherish them. He is known as a gentleman, but he's a bastard for me. I don't really get harems but that's his choice, his harem though is not a peaceful one. Why can't he make a harem while doing it so that each of the harem members is peaceful with one another? What a disappointment of a king, he can't even handle his harem members and he expects that he can handle a country. Pathetic.' Rem was so stressed about the situation since it might harm his tribe, which means harming his soldiers.
'I have to make my clone in Macarath research which concubine is the best to be allied with. I don't want a weak-willed concubine, and I also don't want an arrogant one. I want one that has ambition for the throne but can be easily manipulated.'
"Young master, I'll go cook something for us. Go and do your stuff for now. I'll call you once it's time to eat." Hane says waking Rem up from his thoughts.
"Sure, Hane. Come, Spike, let's go outside and train." Rem run to the back of their house and started to train with his partial transformation while thinking about his plans.

"Ughh!" Hane hears a groan as she was cutting some meat. This made her curious and look for the source. The sound was coming from one of the rooms inside the house, this made her run since she thinks it was the sleeping person that is making that sound.
"Nyx!" Hane shouted once she saw Nyx trying to sit up but failed to do so.
"Aghh! W-wh-a-t ha... pppen... ed... to... me..." Nyx asked with a dried voice. She was having a hard time speaking as she hasn't used her mouth for almost a month.
"You were unconscious for some time now, Nyx. Wait for me, I'll just get you some water." Hane says as she runs out of the room. Nyx tried to nod but she felt her body being weak and not responding that fast to her command.
'Why do I feel so weak? I also feel like there is this pole in between my nether regions.' Nyx thought as she tries to hold on to that pole. Coincidentally, the pole on her started to shake as if was alive. It was her tail to be exact making her startled when she saw it.
'What the? I have a tail!? It seems that the ritual has succeeded and turned me into a Wolfskin. This ritual is phenomenal, I have to ask Oro about this ritual. I may learn useful insights from it.'
"Here's the water, Nyx!" Hane helped Nyx drink the water from the cup slowly making Nyx thankful for her action.
"Whe... re... is... Ke-in?" Nyx asked as she wants to see Rem.
"I'll call young master. Wait for me!" Hane runs again leaving Nyx alone again.
'Ahh, youths and their energetic selves. I am curious about the warm feeling I get from Hane. It was the same feeling I got when Kein called me 'Sister Nyx'. It seems that this is a side effect that Oro did not mention.' Nyx pondered as she soon hears footsteps coming towards her.
"Sister Nyx! You finally woke up!" Rem shouted as Spike looked at Nyx curiously.
"Wy... vern?" Nyx asked as she looks at the small wyvern flying behind Rem.
"Oh! This is Spike, sister Nyx. I got him on my 4th birthday." Nyx suddenly frowned as she hears about Rem's birthday.
'I missed Kein's birthday. A pity, I have to make it up for him.' Nyx thought as she let's Rem talk about his birthday.
"I'll go call for Elder Oro. Look after Nyx while I go out, young master." Hane runs out again without waiting for Rem's reply.
"How are you feeling, sister Nyx?"
"Wea-k..."
"You should rest, but I have a favor to ask once you got completely healed." Rem says.
"Wha-t?"
"I want to be taught about dark spells. I want to know how to use them, they might help me in the future, sister Nyx. Mom and dad said that something bad might happen in the future, so I want to have the power to protect the people that I love, and that includes you, sister Nyx." Rem felt cringing from what he was spatting now but that was the truth. He might sacrifice everyone for the sake of immortality but he'll make sure to protect the tribe and his family if he can. Sure, he was a hypocrite, but at least, he'll try his best not to come into a situation like that. He'll at least try to do other methods before considering something like that, but if he was cornered and had no choice then he'll kill them even if he is reluctant to do so.
